¹Und das Wort des HERRN erging an mich also:

²E te tama a te tangata, mea atu ki te rangatira o Taira: Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Kua whakakake na tou ngakau, kua mea, He atua ahau, e noho ana i te nohoanga o te Atua, i waenga moana, ahakoa ki tau ko tou ngakau e rite ana ki to te Atua ngakau:

²Menschensohn, sage dem Fürsten von Tyrus: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil sich dein Herz erhoben hat und du gesagt hast: «Ich bin ein Gott und sitze auf einem Götterthron mitten im Meere», da du doch nur ein Mensch und kein Gott bist, und dein Herz dem Herzen Gottes gleichstellst

⁴durch deine Weisheit und deinen Verstand hast du dir Reichtum erworben und Gold und Silber in deinen Schatzhäusern aufgehäuft;

⁵durch deine große Weisheit und deinen Handel hast du deinen Reichtum sehr gemehrt, und ob deines Reichtums ist dein Herz sehr stolz geworden.

⁶Darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Weil du dein Herz dem Herzen Gottes gleichgestellt hast,

⁷Mo reira tenei ahau te kawe nei i nga tautangata ki a koe, te hunga nanakia rawa o nga iwi; a ka unuhia e ratou a ratou hoari hei whawhai ki te ataahua o ou whakaaro nui, ka whakapokea ano e ratou tou kanapatanga.

⁷darum siehe, will ich Fremde über dich bringen, die Gewalttätigsten der Nationen; die sollen ihre Schwerter gegen deine glänzende Weisheit zücken und deine Schönheit entweihen.

⁸In die Grube werden sie dich hinabstoßen, daß du den Tod eines Erschlagenen sterbest mitten im Meere.

⁹Wirst du dann angesichts deiner Mörder auch noch sagen: «Ich bin Gott», da du doch ein Mensch und nicht Gott bist, in der Hand deiner Schergen?

¹⁰Ko tou matenga, ko nga matenga o te hunga kokotikore i te ringa o nga tautangata: naku hoki te kupu, e ai ta te Ariki, ta Ihowa.

¹⁰Den Tod der Unbeschnittenen wirst du sterben durch die Hand der Fremden! Ja, ich habe es gesagt, spricht Gott, der HERR!

¹¹Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich also:

¹²E te tama a te tangata, kia ara tau tangi mo te kingi o Taira, mea atu hoki ki a ia, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Kei te tino o te pai tau hiri, ki tonu koe i nga whakaaro nunui, pai rerehua te ataahua.

¹²Menschensohn, stimme ein Klagelied an über den König zu Tyrus und sprich zu ihm: So spricht Gott, der HERR: O du Siegel der Vollendung, voller Weisheit und vollkommener Schönheit!

¹⁶Durch deine vielen Handelsgeschäfte ist dein Inneres voll Frevel geworden, und du hast gesündigt. Darum habe ich dich vom Berge Gottes verstoßen und dich, du schützender Cherub, aus der Mitte der feurigen Steine vertilgt.

¹⁷Dein Herz hat sich erhoben ob deiner Schönheit; du hast deine Weisheit um deines Glanzes willen verderbt. So habe ich dich auf die Erde geworfen und dich vor den Königen zum Schauspiel gemacht.

¹⁸Mit deinen vielen Missetaten, durch die Ungerechtigkeit deines Handels, hast du deine Heiligtümer entweiht; da ließ ich Feuer von dir ausgehen, welches dich verzehrte, und ich habe dich auf Erden zu Asche gemacht vor den Augen aller, die dich sahen.

²²Mea atu, Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Nana, hei hoariri ahau mou, e Hairona; ka whai kororia ano hoki ahau i roto i a koe: a ka mohio ratou ko Ihowa ahau, ina mahia e ahau he whakawa i roto i a ia, ina whakatapua ahau i roto i a ia.

²²und sprich: So spricht Gott, der HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Zidon, und will mich verherrlichen in deiner Mitte, daß man erfahre, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich das Urteil an ihr vollstrecken und mich an ihr heilig erweisen werde.

²³Denn ich will Pest und Blutvergießen auf ihre Gassen schicken, und es sollen Erschlagene in ihrer Mitte fallen durchs Schwert, das von allen Seiten über sie kommt, und so sollen sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.

²⁴Es soll hinfort für das Haus Israel kein stechender Dorn und kein schmerzender Stachel mehr verbleiben von seiten derer, die rings um sie her liegen und sie verachten; und so sollen sie erfahren, daß ich Gott, der HERR, bin.

²⁵Ko te kupu tenei a te Ariki, a Ihowa; Ka oti te whare o Iharaira te kohikohi e ahau i roto i nga iwi i whakamararatia atu ai ratou, a ka oti ahau te whakatapu i runga i a ratou i te tirohanga a nga iwi, ko reira ratou noho ai ki to ratou oneone i hoatu e ahau ki taku pononga, ki a Hakopa.

²⁵So spricht Gott, der HERR: Wenn ich das Haus Israel wieder sammle aus den Völkern, unter welche sie zerstreut worden sind, so werde ich mich an ihnen heilig erweisen vor den Augen der Heiden, und sie sollen in ihrem Lande wohnen, welches ich meinem Knechte Jakob gegeben habe.

²⁶Ja, sie sollen sicher darin wohnen, Häuser bauen und Weinberge pflanzen; ja, sie werden sicher wohnen, wenn ich an allen denen rings um sie her, welche sie verachten, das Urteil vollziehen werde; alsdann werden sie erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, ihr Gott bin.
