¹ദൈവം പണ്ടു ഭാഗം ഭാഗമായിട്ടും വിവിധമായിട്ടും പ്രവാചകന്മാര്‍മുഖാന്തരം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടു

¹God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

²ഈ അന്ത്യകാലത്തു പുത്രന്‍ മുഖാന്തരം നമ്മോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവനെ താന്‍ സകലത്തിന്നും അവകാശിയാക്കി വെച്ചു; അവന്‍ മുഖാന്തരം ലോകത്തെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി.

²has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

³അവന്‍ അവന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ പ്രഭയും തത്വത്തിന്റെ മുദ്രയും സകലത്തേയും തന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള വചനത്താല്‍ വഹിക്കുന്നവനും ആകകൊണ്ടു പാപങ്ങള്‍ക്കു പരിഹാരം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയശേഷം ഉയരത്തില്‍ മഹിമയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കയും

³His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself made purification for our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

⁴അവന്‍ ദൈവദൂതന്മാരെക്കാള്‍ വിശിഷ്ടമായ നാമത്തിന്നു അവകാശിയായതിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവരെക്കാള്‍ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തു.

⁴having become so much better than the angels, as he has inherited a more excellent name than they have.

⁵“നീ എന്റെ പുത്രന്‍ ; ഞാന്‍ ഇന്നു നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും “ഞാന്‍ അവന്നു പിതാവും അവന്‍ എനിക്കു പുത്രനും ആയിരിക്കും” എന്നും ദൂതന്മാരില്‍ ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

⁵For to which of the angels did he say at any time, “You are my Son. Today have I become your father?” Psalm 2:7 and again, “I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?” 2 Samuel 7:14; 1 Chronicles 17:13

⁶ആദ്യജാതനെ പിന്നെയും ഭൂതലത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍“ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സകലദൂതന്മാരും അവനെ നമസ്കരിക്കേണം” എന്നു താന്‍ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

⁶Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, “Let all the angels of God worship him.”

⁷“അവന്‍ കാറ്റുകളെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരും അഗ്നിജ്വാലയെ തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരും ആക്കുന്നു” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.

⁷Of the angels he says, “Who makes his angels winds, and his servants a flame of fire.” Psalm 104:4

⁸പുത്രനോടോ“ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്നും എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു; നിന്റെ രാജത്വത്തിന്റെ ചെങ്കോല്‍ നേരുള്ള ചെങ്കോല്‍.

⁸But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your Kingdom.

⁹നീ നീതിയെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുകയും ദുഷ്ടതയെ ദ്വേഷിക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാല്‍ ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം നിന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരില്‍ പരമായി നിന്നെ ആനന്ദതൈലംകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നും

⁹You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.” Psalm 45:6-7

¹⁰“കര്‍ത്താവേ, നീ പൂര്‍വ്വകാലത്തു ഭൂമിക്കു അടിസ്ഥാനം ഇട്ടു, ആകാശവും നിന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ആകുന്നു.

¹⁰And, “You, Lord, in the beginning, laid the foundation of the earth. The heavens are the works of your hands.

¹¹അവ നശിക്കും; നീയോ നിലനിലക്കും; അവ എല്ലാം വസ്ത്രംപോലെ പഴകിപ്പോകും;

¹¹They will perish, but you continue. They all will grow old like a garment does.

¹²ഉടുപ്പുപോലെ നീ അവയെ ചുരുട്ടും; വസ്ത്രംപോലെ അവ മാറിപ്പോകും; നീയോ അനന്യന്‍ ; നിന്റെ സംവത്സരങ്ങള്‍ അവസാനിക്കയുമില്ല” എന്നും പറയുന്നു.

¹²As a mantle, you will roll them up, and they will be changed; but you are the same. Your years will not fail.” Psalm 102:25-27

¹³“ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ നിനക്കു പാദപീഠമാക്കുവോളം നീ എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തിരിക്ക” എന്നു ദൂതന്മാരില്‍ ആരോടെങ്കിലും വല്ലപ്പോഴും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടോ?

¹³But which of the angels has he told at any time, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies the footstool of your feet?” Psalm 110:1

¹⁴അവര്‍ ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷപ്രാപിപ്പാനുള്ളവരുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കു അയക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സേവകാത്മാക്കളല്ലയോ?

¹⁴Aren’t they all serving spirits, sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
