1യഹോവേ നീ എന്റെ ദൈവമാകുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ പുകഴ്ത്തും; ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കും; നീ അത്ഭുതമായി പണ്ടേയുള്ള ആലോചനകളെ വിശ്വസ്തതയോടും സത്യത്തോടും കൂടെ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
1Yahweh, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
2നീ നഗരത്തെ കല്‍ക്കുന്നും ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണത്തെ ശൂന്യവും അന്യന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെ നഗരമല്ലാതവണ്ണവും ആക്കിത്തീര്‍ത്തു; അതു ഒരു നാളും പണികയില്ല.
2For you have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It will never be built.
3അതുകൊണ്ടു ബലമുള്ള ജാതി നിന്നെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തും; ഭയങ്കരജാതികളുടെ പട്ടണം നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടും.
3Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.
4ഭയങ്കരന്മാരുടെ ചീറ്റല്‍ മതിലിന്റെ നേരെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റുപോലെ അടിക്കുമ്പോള്‍, നീ എളിയവന്നു ഒരു ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗവും ദരിദ്രന്നു അവന്റെ കഷ്ടത്തില്‍ ഒരു കോട്ടയും കൊടുങ്കാറ്റില്‍ ഒരു ശരണവും ഉഷ്ണത്തില്‍ ഒരു തണലും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.
4For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the dreaded ones is like a storm against the wall.
5വരണ്ട നിലത്തിലെ ഉഷ്ണത്തെപ്പോലെ നീ അന്യന്മാരുടെ ആരവത്തെ അടക്കിക്കളയുന്നു; മേഘത്തിന്റെ തണല്‍കൊണ്ടു ഉഷ്ണം എന്നപോലെ നിഷ്കണ്ടകന്മാരുടെ പാട്ടു ഒതുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.
5As the heat in a dry place will you bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low.
6സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഈ പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍ സകലജാതികള്‍ക്കും മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങള്‍കൊണ്ടും മട്ടൂറിയ വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഒരു വിരുന്നു കഴിക്കും; മേദസ്സുനിറഞ്ഞ മൃഷ്ടഭോജനങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടും മട്ടു നീക്കി തെളിച്ചെടുത്ത വീഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടും ഉള്ള വിരുന്നു തന്നേ.
6In this mountain, Yahweh of Armies will make all peoples a feast of fat things, a feast of choice wines, of fat things full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
7സകലവംശങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഉള്ള മൂടുപടവും സകലജാതികളുടെയും മേല്‍ കിടക്കുന്ന മറവും അവന്‍ ഈ പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍വെച്ചു നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
7He will destroy in this mountain the surface of the covering that covers all peoples, and the veil that is spread over all nations.
8അവന്‍ മരണത്തെ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും നീക്കിക്കളയും; യഹോവയായ കര്‍ത്താവു സകലമുഖങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നു കണ്ണുനീര്‍ തുടെക്കയും തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നിന്ദ സകലഭൂമിയിലുംനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും. യഹോവയല്ലോ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
8He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord Yahweh will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for Yahweh has spoken it.
9അന്നാളില്‍ഇതാ, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന്‍ നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും; അവന്‍ തന്നേ യഹോവ; അവനെയത്രേ നാം കാത്തിരുന്നതു; അവന്റെ രക്ഷയില്‍ നമുക്കു ആനന്ദിച്ചു സന്തോഷിക്കാം എന്നു അവര്‍ പറയും.
9It shall be said in that day, “Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is Yahweh! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation!”
10യഹോവയുടെ കൈ ഈ പര്‍വ്വതത്തില്‍ ആവസിക്കുമല്ലോ; എന്നാല്‍ വൈക്കോല്‍ ചാണകകൂഴിയിലെ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ ഇട്ടു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ മോവാബ് സ്വസ്ഥാനത്തു തന്നേ മെതിക്കപ്പെടും.
10For in this mountain the hand of Yahweh will rest. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
11നീന്തുന്നവന്‍ നീന്തുവാന്‍ കൈ നീട്ടുന്നതുപോലെ അവന്‍ അതിന്റെ നടുവില്‍ കൈ നീട്ടും; എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ ഗര്‍വ്വവും കൈമിടുക്കും അവന്‍ താഴ്ത്തിക്കളയും.
11He will spread out his hands in its midst, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.
12നിന്റെ ഉറപ്പും ഉയരവും ഉള്ള മതിലുകളെ അവന്‍ താഴെ നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു പൊടിയാക്കിക്കളയും.
12He has brought the high fortress of your walls down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
