1സാഹസം അനുഭവിക്കാതെ സാഹസം ചെയ്കയും നിന്നോടു ആരും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാതെ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനേ, നിനക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നീ സാഹസം ചെയ്യുന്നതു നിര്‍ത്തുമ്പോള്‍ നിന്നെയും സാഹസം ചെയ്യും; നീ ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കുമ്പോള്‍ നിന്നോടും ദ്രോഹം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കും.
1Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed; and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have made an end of betrayal, you will be betrayed.
2യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളോടു കൃപയുണ്ടാകേണമേ; ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിന്നെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; രാവിലെതോറും നീ അവര്‍ക്കും ഭുജവും കഷ്ടകാലത്തു ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു രക്ഷയും ആയിരിക്കേണമേ.
2Yahweh, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.
3കോലാഹലം ഹേതുവായി വംശങ്ങള്‍ ഔടിപ്പോയി; നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റപ്പോള്‍ ജാതികള്‍ ചിതറിപ്പോയി.
3At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered.
4നിങ്ങളുടെ കവര്‍ച്ച തുള്ളന്‍ ശേഖരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെടും വെട്ടുക്കിളി ചാടി വീഴുന്നതുപോലെ അവര്‍ അതിന്മേല്‍ ചാടിവീഴും.
4Your spoil will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap.
5യഹോവ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഉയരത്തിലല്ലോ അവന്‍ വസിക്കുന്നതു; അവന്‍ സീയോനെ ന്യായവും നീതിയുംകൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
5Yahweh is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6നിന്റെ കാലത്തു സ്ഥിരതയും രക്ഷാസമൃദ്ധിയും ജ്ഞാനവും പരിജ്ഞാനവും ഉണ്ടാകും; യഹോവാഭക്തി അവരുടെ നിക്ഷേപം ആയിരിക്കും.
6There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of Yahweh is your treasure.
7ഇതാ അവരുടെ ശൌര്‍യ്യവാന്മാര്‍ പുറത്തു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു; സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാര്‍ അതിദുഃഖത്തോടെ കരയുന്നു.
7Behold, their valiant ones cry outside; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.
8പെരുവഴികള്‍ ശൂന്യമായ്ക്കിടക്കുന്നു; വഴി പോക്കര്‍ ഇല്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിച്ചു, പട്ടണങ്ങളെ നിന്ദിച്ചുഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും അവന്‍ ആദരിക്കുന്നില്ല.
8The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man.
9ദേശം ദുഃഖിച്ചു ക്ഷയിക്കുന്നു; ലെബാനോന്‍ ലജ്ജിച്ചു വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു; ശാരോന്‍ മരുഭൂമിപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; ബാശാനും കര്‍മ്മേലും ഇലപൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
9The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.
10ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ എഴുന്നേലക്കും; ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ എന്നെത്തന്നേ ഉയര്‍ത്തും; ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഞാന്‍ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
10“Now I will arise,” says Yahweh; “Now I will lift myself up. Now I will be exalted.
11നിങ്ങള്‍ വൈക്കോലിനെ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിച്ചു താളടിയെ പ്രസവിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ ശ്വാസം തീയായിനിങ്ങളെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയും.
11You will conceive chaff. You will bring forth stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.
12വംശങ്ങള്‍ കുമ്മായം ചുടുന്നതുപോലെ ആകും; വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞ മുള്ളുപോലെ അവരെ തീയില്‍ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയും.
12The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire.
13ദൂരസ്ഥന്മാരേ, ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്തതു കേള്‍പ്പിന്‍ ; സമീപസ്ഥന്മാരേ, എന്റെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ ഗ്രഹിപ്പിന്‍ .
13Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.”
14സീയോനിലെ പാപികള്‍ പേടിക്കുന്നു; വഷളന്മാരായവര്‍ക്കും നടുക്കം പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മില്‍ ആര്‍ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീയുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ പാര്‍ക്കും? നമ്മില്‍ ആര്‍ നിത്യദഹനങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ പാര്‍ക്കും?
14The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?
15നീതിയായി നടന്നു നേര്‍ പറകയും പീഡനത്താല്‍ ഉള്ള ആദായം വെറുക്കയും കൈക്കൂലിവാങ്ങാതെ കൈ കുടഞ്ഞുകളകയും രക്ത പാതകത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു കേള്‍ക്കാതവണ്ണം ചെവി പൊത്തുകയും ദോഷത്തെ കണ്ടു രസിക്കാതവണ്ണം കണ്ണു അടെച്ചുകളകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവന്‍ ;
15He who walks righteously, and speaks blamelessly; He who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—
16ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവന്‍ ഉയരത്തില്‍ വസിക്കും; പാറക്കോട്ടകള്‍ അവന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനമായിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ അപ്പം അവന്നു കിട്ടും;
16he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.
17അവന്നു വെള്ളം മുട്ടിപ്പോകയുമില്ല. നിന്റെ കണ്ണു രാജാവിനെ അവന്റെ സൌന്ദര്യത്തോടെ ദര്‍ശിക്കും; വിശാലമായോരു ദേശം കാണും.
17Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land.
18പണം എണ്ണുന്നവന്‍ എവിടെ? തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നവന്‍ എവിടെ? ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ എണ്ണുന്നവന്‍ എവിടെ? എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഭീതിയെക്കുറിച്ചു ധ്യാനിക്കും.
18Your heart will meditate on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed? Where is he who counted the towers?
19നീ തിരിച്ചറിയാത്ത പ്രായസമുള്ള വാക്കും നിനക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു കൂടാത്ത അന്യഭാഷയും ഉള്ള ഉഗ്രജാതിയെ നീ കാണുകയില്ല.
19You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.
20നമ്മുടെ ഉത്സവങ്ങളുടെ നഗരമായ സീയോനെ നോക്കുക; നിന്റെ കണ്ണു യെരൂശലേമിനെ സ്വൈരനിവാസമായും ഒരിക്കലും നീങ്ങിപ്പോകാത്തതും കുറ്റി ഒരുനാളും ഇളകിപ്പോകാത്തതും കയറു ഒന്നും പൊട്ടിപ്പോകാത്തതുമായ കൂടാരമായും കാണും.
20Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
21അവിടെ മഹിമയുള്ളവനായ യഹോവ നമുക്കു വീതിയുള്ള നദികള്‍ക്കും തോടുകള്‍ക്കും പകരമായിരിക്കും; തണ്ടുവെച്ച പടകു അതില്‍ നടക്കയില്ല; പ്രതാപമുള്ള കപ്പല്‍ അതില്‍കൂടി കടന്നുപോകയുമില്ല.
21But there Yahweh will be with us in majesty, a place of broad rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there.
22യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായാധിപന്‍ ; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ ന്യായദാതാവു; യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ രാജാവു; അവന്‍ നമ്മെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
22For Yahweh is our judge. Yahweh is our lawgiver. Yahweh is our king. He will save us.
23നിന്റെ കയറു അഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നു; അതിനാല്‍ പാമരത്തെ ചുവട്ടില്‍ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൂടാ; പായ് നിവിര്‍ത്തുകൂടാ. പിടിച്ചു പറിച്ച വലിയ കൊള്ള അന്നു വിഭാഗിക്കപ്പെടും; മുടന്തരും കൊള്ളയിടും.
23Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great spoil was divided. The lame took the prey.
24എനിക്കു ദീനം എന്നു യാതൊരു നിവാസിയും പറകയില്ല; അതില്‍ പാര്‍ക്കുംന്ന ജനത്തിന്റെ അകൃത്യം മോചിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും.
24The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.
