1ദ്വീപുകളേ, എന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ മിണ്ടാതെ ഇരിപ്പിന്‍ ; ജാതികള്‍ ശക്തിയെ പുതുക്കട്ടെ; അവര്‍ അടുത്തുവന്നു സംസാരിക്കട്ടെ; നാം തമ്മില്‍ ന്യായവാദം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന്നു അടുത്തു വരിക.
1“Keep silent before me, islands, and let the peoples renew their strength. Let them come near, then let them speak. Let’s meet together for judgment.
2ചെല്ലുന്നെടത്തൊക്കെയും നീതി എതിരേലക്കുന്നവനെ കിഴക്കുനിന്നു ഉണര്‍ത്തിയതാര്‍? അവന്‍ ജാതികളെ അവന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും അവനെ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ മേല്‍ വാഴുമാറാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവരുടെ വാളിനെ അവന്‍ പൊടിപോലെയും അവരുടെ വില്ലിനെ പാറിപ്പോകുന്ന താളടിപോലെയും ആക്കിക്കളയുന്നു.
2Who has raised up one from the east? Who called him to his foot in righteousness? He hands over nations to him, and makes him rule over kings. He gives them like the dust to his sword, like the driven stubble to his bow.
3അവന്‍ അവരെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു നിര്‍ഭയനായി കടന്നു ചെല്ലുന്നു; പാതയില്‍ കാല്‍ വെച്ചല്ല അവന്‍ പോകുന്നതു.
3He pursues them, and passes by safely, Even by a way that he had not gone with his feet.
4ആര്‍ അതു പ്രര്‍ത്തിക്കയും അനുഷ്ഠിക്കയും ചെയ്തു? ആദിമുതല്‍ തലമുറകളെ വിളിച്ചവന്‍ ; യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ ആദ്യനും അന്ത്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അനന്യനും ആകുന്നു.
4Who has worked and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I, Yahweh, the first, and with the last, I am he.”
5ദ്വീപുകള്‍ കണ്ടു ഭയപ്പെട്ടു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അറുതികള്‍ വിറെച്ചു; അവര്‍ ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടി അടുത്തുവന്നു;
5The islands have seen, and fear. The ends of the earth tremble. They approach, and come.
6അവര്‍ അന്യോന്യം സഹായിച്ചു; ഒരുത്തന്‍ മറ്റേവനോടുധൈര്യമായിരിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
6Everyone helps his neighbor. They say to their brothers, “Be strong!”
7അങ്ങനെ ആശാരി തട്ടാനെയും കൊല്ലന്‍ കൂടം തല്ലുന്നവനെയും ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തി കൂട്ടിവിളക്കുന്നതിന്നു ചേലായി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു, ഇളകാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്‍ അതിനെ ആണികൊണ്ടു ഉറപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
7So the carpenter encourages the goldsmith. He who smoothes with the hammer encourages him who strikes the anvil, saying of the soldering, “It is good”; and he fastens it with nails, that it might not totter.
8നീയോ, എന്റെ ദാസനായ യിസ്രായേലേ, ഞാന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബേ, എന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയേ, നീ എന്റെ ദാസന്‍ ,
8“But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend,
9ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ നിരസിച്ചുകളയാതെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നു എടുക്കയും അതിന്റെ മൂലകളില്‍നിന്നു വിളിച്ചു ചേര്‍ക്കയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നവനായുള്ളോവേ, നീ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ;
9You whom I have taken hold of from the ends of the earth, and called from its corners, and said to you, ‘You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you away;’
10ഞാന്‍ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടു; ഭ്രമിച്ചുനോക്കേണ്ടാ, ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ ശക്തീകരിക്കും; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കും; എന്റെ നീതിയുള്ള വലങ്കൈകൊണ്ടു ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ താങ്ങും,
10Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
11നിന്നോടു കോപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചു അമ്പരന്നുപോകും; നിന്നോടു വിവാദിക്കുന്നവര്‍ നശിച്ചു ഇല്ലാതെയാകും.
11Behold, all those who are incensed against you will be disappointed and confounded. Those who strive with you will be like nothing, and shall perish.
12നിന്നോടു പോരാടുന്നവരെ നീ അന്വേഷിക്കും; കാണുകയില്ലതാനും; നിന്നോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ നാസ്തിത്വവും ഇല്ലായ്മയുംപോലെ ആകും.
12You will seek them, and won’t find them, even those who contend with you. Those who war against you will be as nothing, as a non-existent thing.
13നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്ന ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ പിടിച്ചു നിന്നോടുഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കും എന്നു പറയുന്നു.
13For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’
14പുഴുവായ യാക്കോബേ, യിസ്രായേല്‍പരിഷയേ, ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ടാ; ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ സഹായിക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരന്‍ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്‍ തന്നേ.
14Don’t be afraid, you worm Jacob, and you men of Israel. I will help you,” says Yahweh, “and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.
15ഇതാ, ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ പുതിയതും മൂര്‍ച്ചയുള്ളതും പല്ലേറിയതും ആയ മെതിവണ്ടിയാക്കി തീര്‍ക്കുംന്നു; നീ പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളെ മെതിച്ചു പൊടിക്കുകയും കുന്നുകളെ പതിര്‍പോലെ ആക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
15Behold, I have made you into a new sharp threshing instrument with teeth. You will thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and will make the hills like chaff.
16നീ അവയെ പാറ്റും; കാറ്റു അവയെ പറപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകും; ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റു അവയെ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയും; നീയോ യഹോവയില്‍ ഘോഷിച്ചുല്ലസിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനില്‍ പുകഴും.
16You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them away, and the whirlwind will scatter them. You will rejoice in Yahweh. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.
17എളിയവരും ദരിദ്രന്മാരുമായവര്‍ വെള്ളം തിരഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്നു; ഒട്ടും കിട്ടായ്കയാല്‍ അവരുടെ നാവു ദാഹംകൊണ്ടു വരണ്ടുപോകുന്നു. യഹോവയായ ഞാന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും ഉത്തരം അരുളും; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ ഞാന്‍ അവരെ കൈവിടുകയില്ല.
17The poor and needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue fails for thirst. I, Yahweh, will answer them. I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
18ഞാന്‍ പാഴ്മലകളില്‍ നദികളെയും താഴ്വരകളുടെ നടുവില്‍ ഉറവുകളെയും തുറക്കും; മരുഭൂമിയെ ഞാന്‍ നീര്‍പൊയ്കയും വരണ്ട നിലത്തെ നീരുറവുകളും ആക്കും.
18I will open rivers on the bare heights, and springs in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
19ഞാന്‍ മരുഭൂമിയില്‍ ദേവദാരു, ഖദിരമരം, കൊഴുന്തു, ഒലിവുവൃക്ഷം എന്നിവ നടും; ഞാന്‍ നിര്‍ജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു സരളവൃക്ഷവും പയിന്‍ മരവും പുന്നയും വെച്ചുപിടിപ്പിക്കും.
19I will put cedar, acacia, myrtle, and oil trees in the wilderness. I will set fir trees, pine, and box trees together in the desert;
20യഹോവയുടെ കൈ അതു ചെയ്തു എന്നും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധന്‍ അതു സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു എന്നും അവരെല്ലാവരും കണ്ടു അറിഞ്ഞു വിചാരിച്ചു ഗ്രഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.
20that they may see, know, consider, and understand together, that the hand of Yahweh has done this, and the Holy One of Israel has created it.
21നിങ്ങളുടെ വ്യവഹാരം കൊണ്ടുവരുവിന്‍ എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങളെ കാണിപ്പിന്‍ എന്നു യാക്കോബിന്റെ രാജാവു കല്പിക്കുന്നു.
21Produce your cause,” says Yahweh. “Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob.
22സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു അവര്‍ കാണിച്ചു നമ്മോടു പ്രസ്താവിക്കട്ടെ; നാം വിചാരിച്ചു അതിന്റെ അവസാനം അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ആദ്യകാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്നിന്നവയെന്നു അവര്‍ പ്രസ്താവിക്കട്ടെ; അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ സംഭവിപ്പാനുള്ളതു നമ്മെ കേള്‍പ്പിക്കട്ടെ.
22“Let them announce, and declare to us what shall happen. Declare the former things, what they are, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or show us things to come.
23നിങ്ങള്‍ ദേവന്മാര്‍ എന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു മേലാല്‍ വരുവാനുള്ളതു പ്രസ്താവിപ്പിന്‍ ; ഞങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നന്മയെങ്കിലും തിന്മയെങ്കിലും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിപ്പിന്‍ .
23Declare the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods. Yes, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and see it together.
24നിങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലായ്മയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി നാസ്തിയും ആകുന്നു; നിങ്ങളെ വരിക്കുന്നവന്‍ കുത്സിതനത്രേ.
24Behold, you are of nothing, and your work is of nothing. He who chooses you is an abomination.
25ഞാന്‍ ഒരുത്തനെ വടക്കുനിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അവന്‍ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; സൂര്യോദയദിക്കില്‍ നിന്നു അവനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു; അവന്‍ എന്റെ നാമത്തെ ആരാധിക്കും; അവര്‍ വന്നു ചെളിയെപ്പോലെയും കുശവന്‍ കളിമണ്ണു ചവിട്ടുന്നതുപോലെയും ദേശാധിപതികളെ ചവിട്ടും.
25“I have raised up one from the north, and he has come; from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name; and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.
26ഞങ്ങള്‍ അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ആദിമുതലും അവന്‍ നീതിമാന്‍ എന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ പറയേണ്ടതിന്നു പണ്ടേയും ആര്‍ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളു? പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാനോ കാണിച്ചുതരുവാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ വാക്കു കേള്‍പ്പാനോ ആരും ഇല്ല.
26Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? And before, that we may say, ‘He is right?’ Surely, there is no one who declares. Surely, there is no one who shows. Surely, there is no one who hears your words.
27ഞാന്‍ ആദ്യനായി സീയോനോടുഇതാ, ഇതാ, അവര്‍ വരുന്നു എന്നു പറയുന്നു; യെരൂശലേമിന്നു ഞാന്‍ ഒരു സുവാര്‍ത്താദൂതനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
27I am the first to say to Zion, ‘Behold, look at them;’ and I will give one who brings good news to Jerusalem.
28ഞാന്‍ നോക്കിയാറെഒരുത്തനുമില്ല; ഞാന്‍ ചോദിച്ചാറെ; ഉത്തരം പറവാന്‍ അവരില്‍ ഒരു ആലോചനക്കാരനും ഇല്ല.
28When I look, there is no man; even among them there is no counselor who, when I ask of them, can answer a word.
29അവരെല്ലാവരും വ്യാജമാകുന്നു; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ നാസ്തിയത്രേ; അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്‍ കാറ്റും ശൂന്യവും തന്നേ.
29Behold, all of them, their works are vanity and nothing. Their molten images are wind and confusion.
