1രക്ഷിപ്പാന്‍ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം യഹോവയുടെ കൈ കുറുകീട്ടില്ല; കേള്‍പ്പാന്‍ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ചെവി മന്‍ ദമായിട്ടുമില്ല
1Behold, Yahweh’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; neither his ear heavy, that it can’t hear:
2നിങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങള്‍ അത്രേ നിങ്ങളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വത്തെയും തമ്മില്‍ ഭിന്നിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; നിങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങള്‍ അത്രേ അവന്‍ കേള്‍ക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു മറെക്കുമാറാക്കിയതു
2but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
3നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകള്‍ രക്തംകൊണ്ടും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിരലുകള്‍ അകൃത്യംകൊണ്ടും മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ അധരങ്ങള്‍ ഭോഷ്ക സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങളുടെ നാവു നീതികേടു ജപിക്കുന്നു
3For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue mutters wickedness.
4ഒരുത്തനും നീതിയോടെ വ്യവഹരിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഒരുത്തനും സത്യത്തോടെ പ്രതിവാദിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവര്‍ വ്യാജത്തില്‍ ആശ്രയിച്ചു ഭോഷ്ക സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; അവര്‍ കഷ്ടത്തെ ഗര്‍‍ഭംധരിച്ചു നീതികേടിനെ പ്രസവിക്കുന്നു
4None sues in righteousness, and none pleads in truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
5അവര്‍ അണലിമുട്ട പൊരുന്നുകയും ചിലന്നിവല നെയ്യും ചെയ്യുന്നു; ആ മുട്ട തിന്നുന്നവന്‍ മരിക്കും പൊട്ടിച്ചാല്‍ അണലി പുറത്തുവരുന്നു
5They hatch adders’ eggs, and weave the spider’s web: he who eats of their eggs dies; and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.
6അവര്‍ നെയ്തതു വസ്ത്രത്തിന്നു കൊള്ളുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ പണി അവര്‍‍കൂ പുതപ്പാകയും ഇല്ല; അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ നീതികെട്ട പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍; സാഹസകര്‍‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ കൈക്കല്‍ ഉണ്ടു
6Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.
7അവരുടെ കാല്‍ ദോഷത്തിന്നായി ഔടുന്നു; കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം ചിന്നുവാന്‍ അവര്‍ ബദ്ധപ്പെടുന്നു; അവരുടെ നിരൂപണങ്ങള്‍ അന്‍ യായനിരൂപണങ്ങള്‍ ആകുന്നു; ശൂന്‍ യവും നാശവും അവരുടെ പാതകളില്‍ ഉണ്ടു
7Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; desolation and destruction are in their paths.
8സമാധാനത്തിന്റെ വഴി അവര്‍ അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവരുടെ നടപ്പില്‍ ന്‍ യായവും ഇല്ല; അവര്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി വളഞ്ഞ പാതകളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവയില്‍ നടക്കുന്നവനൊരുത്തനും സമാധാനം അറികയില്ല
8The way of peace they don’t know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know peace.
9അതുകൊണ്ടു ന്‍ യായം ഞങ്ങളോടു അകന്നു ദൂരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; നീതി ഞങ്ങളോടു എത്തിക്കൊള്ളുന്നതുമില്ല; ഞങ്ങള്‍ പ്രകാശത്തിന്നായിട്ടു കാത്തിരുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ ഇതാ, ഇരുട്ടു; വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായിട്ടു കാത്തിരുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ ഇതാ അന്‍ ധകാരത്തില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കുന്നു
9Therefore is justice far from us, neither does righteousness overtake us: we look for light, but, behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in obscurity.
10ഞങ്ങള്‍ കുരുടന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ചുവര്‍ തപ്പിനടക്കുന്നു; കണ്ണില്ലാത്തവരെപ്പോലെ തപ്പിത്തടഞ്ഞു നടക്കുന്നു; സന്‍ ധ്യാസമയത്തു എന്ന പോലെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നത്തില്‍ ഇടറുന്നു; ആരോഗ്യമുള്ളവരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഞങ്ങള്‍ മരിച്ചവരെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു
10We grope for the wall like the blind; yes, we grope as those who have no eyes: we stumble at noonday as in the twilight; among those who are lusty we are as dead men.
11ഞങ്ങള്‍ എല്ലാവരും കരടികളെപ്പോലെ അലറുന്നു; പ്രാവുകളെപ്പോലെ ഏറ്റവും കുറുകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങള്‍ ന്‍ യായത്തിന്നായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഒട്ടുമില്ല; രക്ഷെക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ അതു ഞങ്ങളോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു
11We roar all like bears, and moan bitterly like doves: we look for justice, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
12ഞങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ നിന്റെ മുന്‍ പാകെ പെരുകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ബോദ്ധ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യങ്ങളെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുന്നു
12For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them:
13അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു യഹോവയെ നിഷേധിക്കുക, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തെ വിട്ടുമാറുക, പീഠനവും മത്സരവും സംസാരിക്കുക, വ്യാജവാക്കുകളെ ഗര്‍‍ഭംധരിച്ചു ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ നിന്നു ഉച്ചരിക്കുക എന്നിവ തന്നേ
13transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
14അങ്ങനെ ന്‍ യായം പിന്മാറി നീതി അകന്നുനിലക്കുന്നു; സത്യം വീഥിയില്‍ ഇടറുന്നു; നേരിന്നു കടപ്പാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നതുമില്ല
14Justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness can’t enter.
15സത്യം കാണാതെയായി; ദോഷം വിട്ടകലുന്നവന്‍ കവര്‍‍ച്ചയായി ഭവിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ന്‍ യായം ഇല്ലായ്കനിമിത്തം അവന്നു അനിഷ്ടം തോന്നുന്നു
15Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice.
16ആരും ഇല്ലെന്നു അവന്‍ കണ്ടു പക്ഷവാദം ചെയ്വാന്‍ ആരും ഇല്ലായ്കയാല്‍ ആശ്ചര്‍യപ്പെട്ടു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ഭുജം തന്നേ അവന്നു രക്ഷവരുത്തി, അവന്റെ നീതി അവനെ താങ്ങി
16He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation to him; and his righteousness, it upheld him.
17അവന്‍ നീതി ഒരു കവചംപോലെ ധരിച്ചു രക്ഷ എന്ന തലക്കോരിക തലയില്‍ ഇട്ടു; അവന്‍ പ്രതികാരവസ്ത്രങ്ങളെ ഉടുത്തു, തീക്ഷണത മേലങ്കിപോലെ പുതെച്ചു
17He put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a mantle.
18അവരുടെ ക്രിയകള്‍ക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം അവന്‍ പകരം ചെയ്യും; തന്റെ വൈരികള്‍ക്കു ക്രോധവും തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ക്കു പ്രതികാരവും തന്നേ; ദ്വീപുവാസികളോടു അവന്‍ പ്രതിക്രിയ ചെയ്യും
18According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, wrath to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.
19അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ പടിഞ്ഞാടു യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെയും കിഴക്കു അവന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെയും ഭയപ്പെടും; കെട്ടിനിന്നതും യഹോവയുടെ ശ്വാസം തള്ളിപ്പായിക്കുന്നതുമായ ഒരു നദിപോലെ അവന്‍ വരും
19So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which the breath of Yahweh drives.
20എന്നാല്‍ സീയോന്നും യാക്കോബില്‍ അതിക്രമം വിട്ടുതിരിയുന്നവര്‍‍ക്കും അവന്‍ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരനായി വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു
20“A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.
21ഞാന്‍ അവരോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്ന നിയമമോ ഇതാകുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നുനിന്റെമേലുള്ള എന്റെ ആത്മാവും നിന്റെ വായില്‍ ഞാന്‍ തന്ന എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളും നിന്റെ വായില്‍ നിന്നും നിന്റെ സന്‍ തതിയുടെ വായില്‍ നിന്നും നിന്റെ സന്‍ തതിയുടെ സന്‍ തതിയുടെ വായില്‍ നിന്നും ഇന്നുമുതല്‍ ഒരുനാളും വിട്ടുപോകയില്ല എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു
21“As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says Yahweh. “My Spirit who is on you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed’s seed,” says Yahweh, “from henceforth and forever.”
