¹അതിന്നു ഇയ്യോബ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്‍

¹Then Job answered,

²നീ ശക്തിയില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്തു സഹായം ചെയ്തു? ബലമില്ലാത്ത ഭുജത്തെ എങ്ങനെ താങ്ങി?

²“How have you helped him who is without power! How have you saved the arm that has no strength!

³ജ്ഞാനമില്ലാത്തവന്നു എന്താലോചന പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുത്തു? ജ്ഞാനം എത്ര ധാരാളം ഉപദേശിച്ചു?

³How have you counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

⁴ആരെയാകുന്നു നീ വാക്യം കേള്‍പ്പിച്ചതു? ആരുടെ ശ്വാസം നിന്നില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു;

⁴To whom have you uttered words? Whose spirit came forth from you?

⁵വെള്ളത്തിന്നും അതിലെ നിവാസികള്‍ക്കും കീഴെ പ്രേതങ്ങള്‍ നൊന്തു നടുങ്ങുന്നു.

⁵“Those who are deceased tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them.

⁶പാതാളം അവന്റെ മുമ്പില്‍ തുറന്നുകിടക്കുന്നു; നരകം മറയില്ലാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁶ Sheol Sheol is the lower world or the grave. is naked before God, and Abaddon Abaddon means Destroyer. has no covering.

⁷ഉത്തരദിക്കിനെ അവന്‍ ശൂന്യത്തിന്മേല്‍ വിരിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയെ നാസ്തിത്വത്തിന്മേല്‍ തൂക്കുന്നു.

⁷He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.

⁸അവന്‍ വെള്ളത്തെ മേഘങ്ങളില്‍ കെട്ടിവെക്കുന്നു; അതു വഹിച്ചിട്ടു കാര്‍മുകില്‍ കീറിപ്പോകുന്നതുമില്ല.

⁸He binds up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not burst under them.

⁹തന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ ദര്‍ശനം അവന്‍ മറെച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അതിന്മേല്‍ തന്റെ മേഘം വിരിക്കുന്നു.

⁹He encloses the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud on it.

¹⁰അവന്‍ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്റെയും ഇരുട്ടിന്റെയും അറ്റത്തോളം വെള്ളത്തിന്മേല്‍ ഒരു അതിര്‍ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹⁰He has described a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness.

¹¹ആകാശത്തിന്റെ തൂണുകള്‍ കുലുങ്ങുന്നു; അവന്റെ തര്‍ജ്ജനത്താല്‍ അവ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകുന്നു.

¹¹The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.

¹²അവന്‍ തന്റെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു സമുദ്രത്തെ ഇളക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ വിവേകംകൊണ്ടു രഹബിനെ തകര്‍ക്കുംന്നു.

¹²He stirs up the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through Rahab.

¹³അവന്റെ ശ്വാസത്താല്‍ ആകാശം ശോഭിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ കൈ വിദ്രുതസര്‍പ്പത്തെ കുത്തിത്തുളെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹³By his Spirit the heavens are garnished. His hand has pierced the swift serpent.

¹⁴എന്നാല്‍ ഇവ അവന്റെ വഴികളുടെ അറ്റങ്ങളത്രേ; നാം അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു മന്ദസ്വരമേ കേട്ടിട്ടുള്ളു. അവന്റെ ബലത്തിന്റെ ഇടിമുഴക്കമോ ആര്‍ ഗ്രഹിക്കും?

¹⁴Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
