1എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാല്‍
1Elihu also continued, and said,
2അല്പം ക്ഷമിക്ക, ഞാന്‍ അറിയിച്ചുതരാം; ദൈവത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ഇനിയും ചില വാക്കു പറവാനുണ്ടു.
2“Bear with me a little, and I will show you; for I still have something to say on God’s behalf.
3ഞാന്‍ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു അറിവു കൊണ്ടുവരും; എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിന്നു നീതിയെ ആരോപിക്കും.
3I will get my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4എന്റെ വാക്കു ഭോഷ്കല്ല നിശ്ചയം; അറിവു തികഞ്ഞവന്‍ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ നിലക്കുന്നു.
4For truly my words are not false. One who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
5ദൈവം ബലവാനെങ്കിലും ആരെയും നിരസിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവന്‍ വിവേകശക്തിയിലും ബലവാന്‍ തന്നേ.
5“Behold, God is mighty, and doesn’t despise anyone. He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6അവന്‍ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; ദുഃഖിതന്മാര്‍ക്കോ അവന്‍ ന്യായം നടത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
6He doesn’t preserve the life of the wicked, but gives to the afflicted their right.
7അവന്‍ നീതിമാന്മാരില്‍നിന്നു തന്റെ കടാക്ഷം മാറ്റുന്നില്ല; രാജാക്കന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവരെ സിംഹാസനത്തില്‍ ഇരുത്തുന്നു; അവര്‍ എന്നേക്കും ഉയര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
7He doesn’t withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne, he sets them forever, and they are exalted.
8അവര്‍ ചങ്ങലകളാല്‍ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കഷ്ടതയുടെ പാശങ്ങളാല്‍ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍
8If they are bound in fetters, and are taken in the cords of afflictions,
9അവന്‍ അവര്‍ക്കും അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അഹങ്കരിച്ചുപോയ ലംഘനങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.
9then he shows them their work, and their transgressions, that they have behaved themselves proudly.
10അവന്‍ അവരുടെ ചെവി പ്രബോധനത്തിന്നു തുറക്കുന്നു; അവര്‍ നീതികേടു വിട്ടുതിരിവാന്‍ കല്പിക്കുന്നു.
10He also opens their ears to instruction, and commands that they return from iniquity.
11അവര്‍ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചു അവനെ സേവിച്ചാല്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിലും ആണ്ടുകളെ ആനന്ദത്തിലും കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടും.
11If they listen and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12കേള്‍ക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലോ അവര്‍ വാളാല്‍ നശിക്കും; ബുദ്ധിമോശത്താല്‍ മരിച്ചുപോകും.
12But if they don’t listen, they shall perish by the sword; they shall die without knowledge.
13ദുഷ്ടമാനസന്മാര്‍ കോപം സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ അവരെ ബന്ധിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ രക്ഷെക്കായി വിളിക്കുന്നില്ല.
13“But those who are godless in heart lay up anger. They don’t cry for help when he binds them.
14അവര്‍ യൌവനത്തില്‍ തന്നേ മരിച്ചു പോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ ജീവന്‍ ദുര്‍ന്നടപ്പുകാരുടേതു പോലെ നശിക്കുന്നു.
14They die in youth. Their life perishes among the unclean.
15അവന്‍ അരിഷ്ടനെ അവന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയാല്‍ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; പീഡയില്‍ തന്നേ അവരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു.
15He delivers the afflicted by their affliction, and opens their ear in oppression.
16നിന്നെയും അവന്‍ കഷ്ടതയുടെ വായില്‍ നിന്നു ഇടുക്കമില്ലാത്ത വിശാലതയിലേക്കു നടത്തുമായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ മേശമേല്‍ സ്വാദുഭോജനം വെക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
16Yes, he would have allured you out of distress, into a broad place, where there is no restriction. That which is set on your table would be full of fatness.
17നീയോ ദുഷ്ടവിധികൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; വിധിയും നീതിയും നിന്നെ പിടിക്കും.
17“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you.
18കോപം നിന്നെ പരിഹാസത്തിന്നായി വശീകരിക്കരുതു; മറുവിലയുടെ വലിപ്പം ഔര്‍ത്തു നീ തെറ്റിപ്പോകയുമരുതു.
18Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside.
19കഷ്ടത്തില്‍ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ നിന്റെ നിലവിളിയും ശക്തിയേറിയ പരിശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ ഒക്കെയും മതിയാകുമോ?
19Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?
20ജാതികള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന രാത്രിയെ നീ കാംക്ഷിക്കരുതു.
20Don’t desire the night, when people are cut off in their place.
21സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍ക; നീതികേടിലേക്കു തിരിയരുതു; അതല്ലോ നീ അരിഷ്ടതയെക്കാള്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു.
21Take heed, don’t regard iniquity; for you have chosen this rather than affliction.
22ദൈവം തന്റെ ശക്തിയാല്‍ ഉന്നതമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു തുല്യനായ ഉപദേശകന്‍ ആരുള്ളു?
22Behold, God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him?
23അവനോടു അവന്റെ വഴിയെ കല്പിച്ചതാര്‍? നീ നീതികേടു ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവനോടു ആര്‍ക്കും പറയാം?
23Who has prescribed his way for him? Or who can say, ‘You have committed unrighteousness?’
24അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുവാന്‍ നീ ഔര്‍ത്തുകൊള്‍ക; അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലോ മനുഷ്യര്‍ പാടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു.
24“Remember that you magnify his work, whereof men have sung.
25മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അതു കണ്ടു രസിക്കുന്നു; ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു മര്‍ത്യന്‍ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.
25All men have looked thereon. Man sees it afar off.
26നമുക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ദൈവം അത്യുന്നതന്‍ ; അവന്റെ ആണ്ടുകളുടെ സംഖ്യ ആരാഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു.
26Behold, God is great, and we don’t know him. The number of his years is unsearchable.
27അവന്‍ നീര്‍ത്തുള്ളികളെ ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആവിയാല്‍ അവ മഴയായി പെയ്യുന്നു.
27For he draws up the drops of water, which distill in rain from his vapor,
28മേഘങ്ങള്‍ അവയെ ചൊരിയുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെമേല്‍ ധാരാളമായി പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.
28Which the skies pour down and which drop on man abundantly.
29ആര്‍ക്കെങ്കിലും മേഘങ്ങളുടെ വിരിവുകളെയും അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കത്തെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കാമോ?
29Yes, can any understand the spreading of the clouds, and the thunderings of his pavilion?
30അവന്‍ തന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശം വിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയെ മൂടുന്നു.
30Behold, he spreads his light around him. He covers the bottom of the sea.
31ഇവയാല്‍ അവന്‍ ജാതികളെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ആഹാരവും ധാരാളമായി കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
31For by these he judges the people. He gives food in abundance.
32അവന്‍ മിന്നല്‍കൊണ്ടു തൃക്കൈ നിറെക്കുന്നു; പ്രതിയോഗിയുടെ നേരെ അതിനെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നു.
32He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.
33അതിന്റെ മുഴക്കം അവനെയും കന്നുകാലികള്‍ എഴുന്നെള്ളുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു അറിവുതരുന്നു.
33Its noise tells about him, and the livestock also concerning the storm that comes up.
