1ഒരുത്തന് സത്യവാചകം കേട്ടിട്ടു, താന് സാക്ഷിയായി കാണുകയോ അറികയോ ചെയ്തതു അറിയിക്കാതെ അങ്ങനെ പാപം ചെയ്താല് അവന് തന്റെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.
1“‘If anyone sins, in that he hears the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity.
2ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത കാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്റെ പിണമോ ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത നാട്ടുമൃഗത്തിന്റെ പിണമോ ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത ഇഴജാതിയുടെ പിണമോ ഇങ്ങനെ വല്ല അശുദ്ധവസ്തുവും ഒരുത്തന് തൊടുകയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് അശുദ്ധനും കുറ്റക്കാരനും ആകുന്നു.
2“‘Or if anyone touches any unclean thing, whether it is the carcass of an unclean animal, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and it is hidden from him, and he is unclean, then he shall be guilty.
3അല്ലെങ്കില് യാതൊരു അശുദ്ധിയാലെങ്കിലും അശുദ്ധനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ അശുദ്ധിയെ ഒരുത്തന് തൊടുകയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അതു അറിയുമ്പോള് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകും.
3“‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty.
4അല്ലെങ്കില് മനുഷ്യന് നിര്വ്വിചാരമായി സത്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതുപോലെ ദോഷം ചെയ്വാനോ ഗുണം ചെയ്വാനോ ഒരുത്തന് തന്റെ അധരങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടു നിര്വ്വിചാരമായി സത്യം ചെയ്കയും അതു അവന്നു മറവായിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താല് അവന് അതു അറിയുമ്പോള് അങ്ങനെയുള്ള കാര്യത്തില് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകും.
4“‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty of one of these.
5ആ വക കാര്യത്തില് അവന് കുറ്റക്കാരനാകുമ്പോള് താന് പാപം ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവന് ഏറ്റുപറയേണം.
5It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned:
6താന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന് യഹോവേക്കു അകൃത്യയാഗമായി ചെമ്മരിയാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയോ കോലാട്ടിന് കുട്ടിയോ ആയ ഒരു പെണ്ണാട്ടിനെ പാപയാഗമായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അവന്നുവേണ്ടി അവന്റെ പാപം നിമിത്തം പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം.
6and he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin.
7ആട്ടിന് കുട്ടിക്കു അവന്നു വകയില്ലെങ്കില് താന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന് രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിനെയോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിനെയോ ഒന്നിനെ പാപയാഗമായും മറ്റേതിനെ ഹോമയാഗമായും യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
7“‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to Yahweh; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.
8അവന് അവയെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വരേണം; അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ളതിനെ മുമ്പെ അര്പ്പിച്ചു അതിന്റെ തല കഴുത്തില്നിന്നു പിരിച്ചുപറിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് രണ്ടായി പിളര്ക്കരുതു.
8He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely.
9അവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്റെ രക്തം കുറെ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ പാര്ശ്വത്തില് തളിക്കേണം; ശേഷം രക്തം യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ ചുവട്ടില് പിഴിഞ്ഞുകളയേണം; ഇതു പാപയാഗം.
9He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
10രണ്ടാമത്തെതിനെ അവന് നിയമപ്രകാരം ഹോമയാഗമായി അര്പ്പിക്കേണം; ഇങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന് അവന് ചെയ്ത പാപംനിമിത്തം അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.
10He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.
11രണ്ടു കുറുപ്രാവിന്നോ രണ്ടു പ്രാവിന് കുഞ്ഞിന്നോ അവന്നു വകയില്ലെങ്കില് പാപം ചെയ്തവന് പാപയാഗത്തിന്നു ഒരിടങ്ങഴി നേരിയ മാവു വഴിപാടായി കൊണ്ടുവരേണം; അതു പാപയാഗം ആകകൊണ്ടു അതിന്മേല് എണ്ണ ഒഴിക്കരുതു; കുന്തുരുക്കം ഇടുകയും അരുതു.
11“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned, the tenth part of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.
12അവന് അതു പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടുവരേണംപുരോഹിതന് നിവേദ്യമായി അതില്നിന്നു കൈ നിറച്ചെടുത്തു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേല് യഹോവേക്കുള്ള ദഹനയാഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കേണം; ഇതു പാപയാഗം.
12He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.
13ഇങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന് ആവക കാര്യത്തില് അവന് ചെയ്ത പാപം നിമിത്തം അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും; ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളതു ഭോജനയാഗം പോലെ പുരോഹിതന്നു ഇരിക്കേണം.
13The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”
14യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാല്
14Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
15ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അബദ്ധവശാല് അതിക്രമം ചെയ്തു പിഴെച്ചു എങ്കില് അവന് തന്റെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നു വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിലെ തൂക്കപ്രകാരം നീ മതിക്കുന്ന വിലെക്കുള്ളതായി ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ അകൃത്യയാഗമായി യഹോവേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരേണം.
15“If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, a ram without blemish from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.
16വിശുദ്ധവസ്തുക്കളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു താന് പിഴെച്ചതിന്നു പകരം മുതലും അതിനോടു അഞ്ചിലൊന്നു കൂട്ടിയും അവന് പുരോഹിതന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം; പുരോഹിതന് അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നുള്ള ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്നു വേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.
16He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.
17ചെയ്യരുതെന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള വല്ലകാര്യത്തിലും ആരെങ്കിലും പിഴെച്ചിട്ടു അവന് അറിയാതിരുന്നാലും കുറ്റക്കാരനാകുന്നു; അവന് തന്റെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കേണം.
17“If anyone sins, and does any of the things which Yahweh has commanded not to be done; though he didn’t know it, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.
18അവന് അകൃത്യയാഗത്തിന്നായി നിന്റെ മതിപ്പുപോലെ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെ പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ടു വരേണം; അവന് അബദ്ധവശാല് പിഴെച്ചതും അറിയാതിരുന്നതുമായ പിഴെക്കായി പുരോഹിതന് അവന്നുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിക്കേണം; എന്നാല് അതു അവനോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.
18He shall bring a ram without blemish from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven.
19ഇതു അകൃത്യയാഗം; അവന് യഹോവയോടു അകൃത്യം ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.
19It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before Yahweh.”
