1അവന്‍ ദൈവാലയത്തെ വിട്ടു പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ശിഷ്യന്മാരില്‍ ഒരുത്തന്‍ ഗുരോ, ഇതാ, എങ്ങനെയുള്ള കല്ലു, എങ്ങനെയുള്ള പണി എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
1As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
2യേശു അവനോടുനീ ഈ വലിയ പണി കാണുന്നുവോ? ഇടിക്കാതെ കല്ലിന്മേല്‍ കല്ലു ഇവിടെ ശേഷിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
2Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
3പിന്നെ അവന്‍ ഒലീവ് മലയില്‍ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്നു നേരെ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പത്രൊസും യാക്കോബും യോഹന്നാനും അന്ത്രെയാസും സ്വകാര്യമായി അവനോടു
3As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
4അതു എപ്പോള്‍ സംഭവിക്കും? അതിന്നു എല്ലാം നിവൃത്തി വരുന്ന കാലത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷണം എന്തു എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാലും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
4“Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
5യേശു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങിയതുആരും നിങ്ങളെ തെറ്റിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .
5Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
6ഞാന്‍ ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു അനേകര്‍ എന്റെ പേരെടുത്തു വന്നു പലരെയും തെറ്റിക്കും.
6 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he! or, “I AM!” ’ and will lead many astray.
7എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ യുദ്ധങ്ങളെയും യുദ്ധശ്രുതികളെയും കുറിച്ചു കേള്‍ക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകരുതു. അതു സംഭവിക്കേണ്ടതു തന്നേ; എന്നാല്‍ അതു അവസാനമല്ല.
7 “When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
8ജാതി ജാതിയോടും രാജ്യം രാജ്യത്തോടും എതിര്‍ക്കും; അവിടവിടെ ഭൂകമ്പവും ക്ഷാമവും ഉണ്ടാകും; ഇതു ഈറ്റുനോവിന്റെ ആരംഭമത്രേ.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
9എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങളെത്തന്നേ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘങ്ങളില്‍ ഏല്പിക്കയും പള്ളികളില്‍വെച്ചു തല്ലുകയും എന്റെ നിമിത്തം നാടുവാഴികള്‍ക്കും രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ക്കും മുമ്പാകെ അവര്‍ക്കും സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി നിറുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.
9 But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
10എന്നാല്‍ സുവിശേഷം മുമ്പെ സകലജാതികളോടും പ്രസംഗിക്കേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
10 The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
11അവര്‍ നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി ഏല്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ എന്തു പറയേണ്ടു എന്നു മുന്‍ കൂട്ടി വിചാരപ്പെടരുതു. ആ നാഴികയില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്നതു തന്നേ പറവിന്‍ ; പറയുന്നതു നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ല, പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവത്രേ.
11 When they lead you away and deliver you up, don’t be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12സഹോദരന്‍ സഹോദരനെയും അപ്പന്‍ മകനെയും മരണത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിക്കും; മക്കളും അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരുടെ നേരെ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരെ കൊല്ലിക്കും.
12 “Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
13എന്റെ നാമം നിമിത്തം എല്ലാവരും നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കും; എന്നാല്‍ അവസാനത്തോളം സഹിച്ചു നിലക്കുന്നവന്‍ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും.
13 You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.
14എന്നാല്‍ ശൂന്യമാക്കുന്ന മ്ളേച്ഛത നില്‍ക്കരുതാത്ത സ്ഥലത്തു നിലക്കുന്നതു നിങ്ങള്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍, - വായിക്കുന്നവന്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊള്ളട്ടെ - അന്നു യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തു ഉള്ളവര്‍ മലകളിലേക്കു ഔടിപ്പോകട്ടെ.
14 But when you see the abomination of desolation, Daniel 9:17; 11:31; 12:11 spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,
15വീട്ടിന്മേല്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്‍ അകത്തേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിപോകയോ വീട്ടില്‍ നിന്നു വല്ലതും എടുപ്പാന്‍ കടക്കയോ അരുതു.
15 and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.
16വയലില്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നവന്‍ വസ്ത്രം എടുപ്പാന്‍ മടങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു.
16 Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
17ആ കാലത്തു ഗര്‍ഭിണികള്‍ക്കും മുലകുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്കും അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!
17 But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
18എന്നാല്‍ അതു ശീതകാലത്തു സംഭവിക്കാതിരിപ്പാന്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിപ്പിന്‍ .
18 Pray that your flight won’t be in the winter.
19ആ നാളുകള്‍ ദൈവം സൃഷ്ടിച്ച സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ആരംഭംമുതല്‍ ഇന്നുവരെ സംഭവിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തതും ഇനിമേല്‍ സംഭവിക്കാത്തതും ആയ കഷ്ടകാലം ആകും.
19 For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
20കര്‍ത്താവു ആ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കീട്ടില്ല എങ്കില്‍ ഒരു ജഡവും രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല. താന്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത വൃതന്മാര്‍ നിമിത്തമോ അവന്‍ ആ നാളുകളെ ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
20 Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
21അന്നു ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളോടുഇതാ ക്രിസ്തു ഇവിടെ എന്നോ അതാ അവിടെ എന്നോ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കരുതു.
21 Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ don’t believe it.
22കള്ളക്രിസ്തുക്കളും കള്ളപ്രവാചകന്മാരും എഴുന്നേറ്റു, കഴിയും എങ്കില്‍ വൃതന്മാരെയും തെറ്റിപ്പാനായി അടയാളങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിക്കും.
22 For there will arise false christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
23നിങ്ങളോ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; ഞാന്‍ എല്ലാം നിങ്ങളോടു മുന്‍ കൂട്ടി പറഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
23 But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
24എങ്കിലോ ആ കാലത്തെ കഷ്ടം കഴിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം സൂര്യന്‍ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകയും ചന്ദ്രന്‍ പ്രകാശം കൊടുക്കാതിരിക്കയും ആകാശത്തുനിന്നു നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍ വീണുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കയും ആകാശത്തിലെ ശക്തികള്‍ ഇളകിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്യും.
24 But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,
25അപ്പോള്‍ മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്‍ വലിയ ശക്തിയോടും തേജസ്സോടുംകൂടെ മേഘങ്ങളില്‍ വരുന്നതു അവര്‍ കാണും.
25 the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. Isaiah 13:10; 34:4
26അന്നു അവന്‍ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മരെ അയച്ചു, തന്റെ വൃതന്മാരെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറുതിമുതല്‍ ആകാശത്തിന്റെ അറുതിവരെയും നാലു ദിക്കില്‍ നിന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കും.
26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.
27അത്തിയെ നോക്കി ഒരു ഉപമ പഠിപ്പിന്‍ ; അതിന്റെ കൊമ്പു ഇളതായി ഇല തളിര്‍ക്കുംമ്പോള്‍ വേനല്‍ അടുത്തു എന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.
27 Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
28അങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളും ഇതു സംഭവിക്കുന്നതു കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ അടുക്കെ വാതില്‍ക്കല്‍ തന്നേ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ .
28 “Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
29ഇതു ഒക്കെയും സംഭവിക്കുവോളം ഈ തലമുറ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാന്‍ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
29 even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
30ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്റെ വചനങ്ങളോ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു പോകയില്ല.
30 Most certainly I say to you, this generation The word translated “generation” (genea) could also be translated “race,” “family,” or “people.” will not pass away until all these things happen.
31ആ നാളും നാഴികയും സംബന്ധിച്ചോ പിതാവല്ലാതെ ആരും, സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തിലെ ദൂതന്മാരും, പുത്രനും കൂടെ അറിയുന്നില്ല.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
32ആ കാലം എപ്പോള്‍ എന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊള്‍വിന്‍ ; ഉണര്‍ന്നും പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചും കൊണ്ടിരിപ്പിന്‍ .
32 But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
33ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്‍ വിടുവിട്ടു പരദേശത്തുപോകുമ്പോള്‍ ദാസന്മാര്‍ക്കും അധികാരവും അവനവന്നു അതതു വേലയും കൊടുത്തിട്ടു വാതില്‍കാവല്‍ക്കാരനോടു ഉണര്‍ന്നിരിപ്പാന്‍ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ തന്നേ.
33 Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you don’t know when the time is.
34യജമാനന്‍ സന്ധ്യെക്കോ അര്‍ദ്ധരാത്രിക്കോ കോഴിക്കുകുന്ന നേരത്തോ രാവിലെയോ എപ്പോള്‍ വരും എന്നു അറിയായ്ക കൊണ്ടു,
34 “It is like a man, traveling to another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
35അവന്‍ പെട്ടെന്നു വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ ഉറങ്ങുന്നവരായി കണ്ടെത്താതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഉണര്‍ന്നിരിപ്പിന്‍ .
35 Watch therefore, for you don’t know when the lord of the house is coming, whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
36ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നതോ എല്ലാവരോടും പറയുന്നുഉണര്‍ന്നിരിപ്പിന്‍.
36 lest coming suddenly he might find you sleeping.
37 What I tell you, I tell all: Watch.”
