1സംഗീതപ്രമാണിക്കു; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീര്‍ത്തനം.
1Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me.
2യഹോവേ, നീ എന്നെ ശോധന ചെയ്തു അറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു;
2You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.
3ഞാന്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നതും എഴുന്നേലക്കുന്നതും നീ അറിയുന്നു. എന്റെ നിരൂപണം നീ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
3You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways.
4എന്റെ നടപ്പും കിടപ്പും നീ ശോധന ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്റെ വഴികളൊക്കെയും നിനക്കു മനസ്സിലായിരിക്കുന്നു.
4For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether.
5യഹോവേ, നീ മുഴുവനും അറിയാതെ ഒരു വാക്കും എന്റെ നാവിന്മേല്‍ ഇല്ല.
5You hem me in behind and before. You laid your hand on me.
6നീ മുമ്പും പിമ്പും എന്നെ അടെച്ചു നിന്റെ കൈ എന്റെമേല്‍ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
6This knowledge is beyond me. It’s lofty. I can’t attain it.
7ഈ പരിജ്ഞാനം എനിക്കു അത്യത്ഭുതമാകുന്നു; അതു എനിക്കു ഗ്രഹിച്ചുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഉന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
7Where could I go from your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?
8നിന്റെ ആത്മാവിനെ ഒളിച്ചു ഞാന്‍ എവിടേക്കു പോകും? തിരുസന്നിധി വിട്ടു ഞാന്‍ എവിടേക്കു ഔടും?
8If I ascend up into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. , behold, you are there!
9ഞാന്‍ സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തില്‍ കയറിയാല്‍ നീ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു; പാതാളത്തില്‍ എന്റെ കിടക്ക വിരിച്ചാല്‍ നീ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടു.
9If I take the wings of the dawn, and settle in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10ഞാന്‍ ഉഷസ്സിന്‍ ചിറകു ധരിച്ചു, സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അറ്റത്തു ചെന്നു പാര്‍ത്താല്‍
10Even there your hand will lead me, and your right hand will hold me.
11അവിടെയും നിന്റെ കൈ എന്നെ നടത്തും; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ പിടിക്കും.
11If I say, “Surely the darkness will overwhelm me; the light around me will be night”;
12ഇരുട്ടു എന്നെ മൂടിക്കളയട്ടെ; വെളിച്ചം എന്റെ ചുറ്റും രാത്രിയായ്തീരട്ടെ എന്നു ഞാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞാല്‍
12even the darkness doesn’t hide from you, but the night shines as the day. The darkness is like light to you.
13ഇരുട്ടുപോലും നിനക്കു മറവായിരിക്കയില്ല; രാത്രി പകല്‍പോലെ പ്രകാശിക്കും; ഇരുട്ടും വെളിച്ചവും നിനക്കു ഒരുപോലെ തന്നേ.
13For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14നീയല്ലോ എന്റെ അന്തരംഗങ്ങളെ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചതു, എന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തില്‍ നീ എന്നെ മെടഞ്ഞു.
14I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
15ഭയങ്കരവും അതിശയവുമായി എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കയാല്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യുന്നു; നിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികള്‍ അത്ഭുതകരമാകുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ ഉള്ളം നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നു.
15My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.
16ഞാന്‍ രഹസ്യത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കപ്പെടുകയും ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളില്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ എന്റെ അസ്ഥിക്കുടം നിനക്കു മറവായിരുന്നില്ല.
16Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.
17ഞാന്‍ പിണ്ഡാകാരമായിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ നിന്റെ കണ്ണു എന്നെ കണ്ടു; നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട നാളുകളില്‍ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ അവയെല്ലാം നിന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തില്‍ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു;
17How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!
18ദൈവമേ, നിന്റെ വിചാരങ്ങള്‍ എനിക്കു എത്ര ഘനമായവ! അവയുടെ ആകത്തുകയും എത്ര വലിയതു!
18If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.
19അവയെ എണ്ണിയാല്‍ മണലിനെക്കാള്‍ അധികം; ഞാന്‍ ഉണരുമ്പോള്‍ ഇനിയും ഞാന്‍ നിന്റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
19If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men!
20ദൈവമേ, നീ ദുഷ്ടനെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ചെങ്കില്‍ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു; രക്തപാതകന്മാരേ, എന്നെ വിട്ടുപോകുവിന്‍ .
20For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.
21അവര്‍ ദ്രോഹമായി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ നിന്റെ നാമം വൃഥാ എടുക്കുന്നു.
21Yahweh, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?
22യഹോവേ, നിന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന്‍ പകക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ? നിന്നോടു എതിര്‍ത്തുനിലക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാന്‍ വെറുക്കേണ്ടതല്ലയോ?
22I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.
23ഞാന്‍ പൂര്‍ണ്ണദ്വേഷത്തോടെ അവരെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നു; അവരെ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളായി എണ്ണുന്നു.
23Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.
24ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ ശോധന ചെയ്തു എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ അറിയേണമേ; എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു എന്റെ നിനവുകളെ അറിയേണമേ.
24See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.
25വ്യസനത്തിന്നുള്ള മാര്‍ഗ്ഗം എന്നില്‍ ഉണ്ടോ എന്നു നോക്കി, ശാശ്വതമാര്‍ഗ്ഗത്തില്‍ എന്നെ നടത്തേണമേ.
