1യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിന്‍ ; എന്‍ മനമേ, യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്ക.
1Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, my soul.
2ജീവനുള്ളന്നും ഞാന്‍ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; ഞാന്‍ ഉള്ള കാലത്തോളം എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കീര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്യും.
2While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.
3നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു, സഹായിപ്പാന്‍ കഴിയാത്ത മനുഷ്യപുത്രനിലും അരുതു.
3Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help.
4അവന്റെ ശ്വാസം പോകുന്നു; അവന്‍ മണ്ണിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു; അന്നു തന്നേ അവന്റെ നിരൂപണങ്ങള്‍ നശിക്കുന്നു.
4His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.
5യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം സഹായമായി തന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയില്‍ പ്രത്യാശയുള്ളവന്‍ ഭാഗ്യവാന്‍ .
5Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:
6അവന്‍ ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ള സകലവും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; അവന്‍ എന്നേക്കും വിശ്വസ്തത കാക്കുന്നു.
6who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;
7പീഡിതന്മാര്‍ക്കും അവന്‍ ന്യായം പാലിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നു; വിശപ്പുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും അവന്‍ ആഹാരം നലകുന്നു; യഹോവ ബദ്ധന്മാരെ അഴിച്ചു വിടുന്നു.
7who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.
8യഹോവ കുരുടന്മാര്‍ക്കും കാഴ്ച കൊടുക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നിവിര്‍ത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ നീതിമാന്മാരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.
8Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.
9യഹോവ പരദേശികളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു; അവന്‍ അനാഥനെയും വിധവയെയും സംരക്ഷണ ചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്നാല്‍ ദുഷ്ന്മാരുടെ വഴി അവന്‍ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നു.
9Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.
10യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴും; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം തലമുറതലമുറയോളം തന്നേ.
10Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!
