1ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരുടെ നിമിത്തം നീ മുഷിയരുതു; നീതികേടു ചെയ്യുന്നവരോടു അസൂയപ്പെടുകയുമരുതു.
1Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
2അവര്‍ പുല്ലുപോലെ വേഗത്തില്‍ ഉണങ്ങി പച്ചച്ചെടിപോലെ വാടിപ്പോകുന്നു.
2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.
3യഹോവയില്‍ ആശ്രയിച്ചു നന്മചെയ്ക; ദേശത്തു പാര്‍ത്തു വിശ്വസ്തത ആചരിക്ക. യഹോവയില്‍ തന്നേ രസിച്ചുകൊള്‍ക; അവന്‍ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ നിനക്കു തരും.
3Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.
4നിന്റെ വഴി യഹോവയെ ഭരമേല്പിക്ക; അവനില്‍ തന്നേ ആശ്രയിക്ക; അവന്‍ അതു നിര്‍വ്വഹിക്കും.
4Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5അവന്‍ നിന്റെ നീതിയെ പ്രഭാതംപോലെയും നിന്റെ ന്യായത്തെ മദ്ധ്യാഹ്നംപോലെയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കും.
5Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
6യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ മിണ്ടാതെയിരുന്നു അവന്നായി പ്രത്യാശിക്ക; കാര്യസാധ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നവനെയും ദുരുപായം പ്രയോഗിക്കുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു നീ മുഷിയരുതു.
6he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
7കോപം കളഞ്ഞു ക്രോധം ഉപേക്ഷിക്ക; മുഷിഞ്ഞു പോകരുതു; അതു ദോഷത്തിന്നു ഹേതുവാകേയുള്ളു.
7Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
8ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാര്‍ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും; യഹോവയെ പ്രത്യാശിക്കുന്നവരോ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret, it leads only to evildoing.
9കുറഞ്ഞോന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ദുഷ്ടന്‍ ഇല്ല; നീ അവന്റെ ഇടം സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കും; അവനെ കാണുകയില്ല.
9For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.
10എന്നാല്‍ സൌമ്യതയുള്ളവര്‍ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും; സമാധാനസമൃദ്ധിയില്‍ അവര്‍ ആനന്ദിക്കും.
10For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn’t there.
11ദുഷ്ടന്‍ നീതിമാന്നു ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നേരെ അവന്‍ പല്ലു കടിക്കുന്നു.
11But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12കര്‍ത്താവു അവനെ നോക്കി ചിരിക്കും; അവന്റെ ദിവസം വരുന്നു എന്നു അവന്‍ കാണുന്നു. എളിയവനെയും ദരിദ്രനെയും വീഴിപ്പാനും സന്മാര്‍ഗ്ഗികളെ കൊല്ലുവാനും ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ വാളൂരി വില്ലു കുലെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
12The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.
13അവരുടെ വാള്‍ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ തന്നേ കടക്കും; അവരുടെ വില്ലുകള്‍ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും.
13The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
14അനേകദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ക്കുംള്ള സമൃദ്ധിയെക്കാള്‍ നീതിമാന്നുള്ള അല്പം ഏറ്റവും നല്ലതു.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright in the way.
15ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ ഭുജങ്ങള്‍ ഒടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; എന്നാല്‍ നീതിമാന്മാരെ യഹോവ താങ്ങും.
15Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken.
16യഹോവ നിഷ്കളങ്കന്മാരുടെ നാളുകളെ അറിയുന്നു; അവരുടെ അവകാശം ശാശ്വതമായിരിക്കും.
16Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.
17ദുഷ്കാലത്തു അവര്‍ ലജ്ജിച്ചു പോകയില്ല; ക്ഷാമകാലത്തു അവര്‍ തൃപ്തരായിരിക്കും,
17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous.
18എന്നാല്‍ ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ നശിച്ചുപോകും; യഹോവയുടെ ശത്രുക്കള്‍ പുല്പുറത്തിന്റെ ഭംഗിപോലേയുള്ളു; അവര്‍ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും; പുകപോലെ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകും.
18Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.
19ദുഷ്ടന്‍ വായ്പ വാങ്ങുന്നു തിരികെ കൊടുക്കുന്നില്ല; നീതിമാനോ കൃപാലുവായി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
19They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20അവനാല്‍ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ ഭൂമിയെ കൈവശമാക്കും. അവനാല്‍ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.
20But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke.
21ഒരു മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴിയില്‍ പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയാല്‍ യഹോവ അവന്റെ ഗമനം സ്ഥിരമാക്കുന്നു.
21The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
22അവന്‍ വീണാലും നിലംപരിചാകയില്ല; യഹോവ അവനെ കൈ പിടിച്ചു താങ്ങുന്നു.
22For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
23ഞാന്‍ ബാലനായിരുന്നു, വൃദ്ധനായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു; നീതിമാന്‍ തുണയില്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നതും അവന്റെ സന്തതി ആഹാരം ഇരക്കുന്നതും ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല.
23A man’s goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.
24അവന്‍ നിത്യം കൃപാലുവായി വായ്പ കൊടുക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ സന്തതി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
24Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand.
25ദോഷം വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞു ഗുണം ചെയ്ക; എന്നാല്‍ നീ സദാകാലം സുഖമായി വസിക്കും.
25I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
26യഹോവ ന്യായപ്രിയനാകുന്നു; തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല; അവര്‍ എന്നേക്കും പരിപാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്തതിയോ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.
26All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His seed is blessed.
27നീതിമാന്മാര്‍ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കി എന്നേക്കും അതില്‍ വസിക്കും;
27Depart from evil, and do good. Live securely forever.
28നീതിമാന്റെ വായ് ജ്ഞാനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാവു ന്യായം സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
28For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
29തന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ കാലടികള്‍ വഴുതുകയില്ല.
29The righteous shall inherit the land, and live in it forever.
30ദുഷ്ടന്‍ നീതിമാന്നായി പതിയിരുന്നു, അവനെ കൊല്ലുവാന്‍ നോക്കുന്നു.
30The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice.
31യഹോവ അവനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യില്‍ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയില്ല; ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തില്‍ അവനെ കുറ്റംവിധിക്കയുമില്ല.
31The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
32യഹോവെക്കായി പ്രത്യാശിച്ചു അവന്റെ വഴി പ്രമാണിച്ചു നടക്ക; എന്നാല്‍ ഭൂമിയെ അവകാശമാക്കുവാന്‍ അവന്‍ നിന്നെ ഉയര്‍ത്തും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതു നീ കാണും.
32The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to kill him.
33ദുഷ്ടന്‍ പ്രബലനായിരിക്കുന്നതും; സ്വദേശികമായ പച്ചവൃക്ഷംപോലെ തഴെക്കുന്നതും ഞാന്‍ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ടു.
33Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
34ഞാന്‍ പിന്നെ അതിലെ പോയപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ ഇല്ല; ഞാന്‍ അന്വേഷിച്ചു, അവനെ കണ്ടതുമില്ല.
34Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
35നിഷ്കളങ്കനെ കുറിക്കൊള്ളുക; നേരുള്ളവനെ നോക്കിക്കൊള്‍ക; സമാധാനപുരുഷന്നു സന്തതി ഉണ്ടാകും.
35I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
36എന്നാല്‍ അതിക്രമക്കാര്‍ ഒരുപോലെ മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ സന്താനം ഛേദിക്കപ്പെടും.
36But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37നീതിമാന്മാരുടെ രക്ഷ യഹോവയിങ്കല്‍നിന്നു വരുന്നു; കഷ്ടകാലത്തു അവന്‍ അവരുടെ ദുര്‍ഗ്ഗം ആകുന്നു.
37Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.
38യഹോവ അവരെ സഹായിച്ചു വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവര്‍ അവനില്‍ ആശ്രയിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവന്‍ അവരെ ദുഷ്ടന്മാരുടെ കയ്യില്‍നിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
38As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
40Yahweh helps them, and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked, and saves them, Because they have taken refuge in him.
