1ദേവന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ വാസ്തവമായി നീതി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നുവോ? മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ പരമാര്‍ത്ഥമായി വിധിക്കുന്നുവോ?
1Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones? Do you judge blamelessly, you sons of men?
2നിങ്ങള്‍ ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ ദുഷ്ടത പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈകളുടെ നിഷ്ഠുരത തൂക്കിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.
2No, in your heart you plot injustice. You measure out the violence of your hands in the earth.
3ദുഷ്ടന്മാര്‍ ഗര്‍ഭംമുതല്‍ ഭ്രഷ്ടന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര്‍ ജനനംമുതല്‍ ഭോഷകു പറഞ്ഞു തെറ്റി നടക്കുന്നു.
3The wicked go astray from the womb. They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
4അവരുടെ വിഷം സര്‍പ്പവിഷംപോലെ; അവര്‍ ചെവിയടഞ്ഞ പൊട്ടയണലിപോലെയാകുന്നു.
4Their poison is like the poison of a snake; like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,
