1And concerning the collection that [is] for the saints, as I directed to the assemblies of Galatia, so also ye — do ye;
2प्रत्येक रविवारी तुम्हांतील प्रत्येकाने आपल्या घरी, जो काही त्याला नफा मिळाला असेल त्यातून काढून ठेवावे आणि बचत करावी.
2on every first [day] of the week, let each one of you lay by him, treasuring up whatever he may have prospered, that when I may come then collections may not be made;
3मी येईन तेव्हा ज्या माणसांना तुम्ही मान्यता द्याल त्यांना मी ओळखपत्रे देऊन तुमच्या देणग्या यरुशलेमला नेण्यासाठी पाठवीन.
3and whenever I may come, whomsoever ye may approve, through letters, these I will send to carry your favour to Jerusalem;
4आणि जर माझेसुद्धा जाणे योग्य असेल तर ते माइयाबरोबर येतील. पौलाच्या योजना
4and if it be meet for me also to go, with me they shall go.
5मी मासेदोनियातून जाईन तेव्हा तुमच्याकडे येईन कारण मासेदोनियातून जाण्याची माझी योजना आहे.
5And I will come unto you, when I pass through Macedonia — for Macedonia I do pass through —
6परंतु कदाचित शक्यतो मी तुमच्याबरोबर काही काळ घालवीन किंवा हिवाळासुद्धा तुमच्यात घालवीन. यासाठी की मी जिकडे जाणार आहे तिकडे तुम्ही मला पाठवावे.
6and with you, it may be, I will abide, or even winter, that ye may send me forward whithersoever I go,
7जाता जाता तुम्हांला भेटण्याची माझी इच्छा नाही. कारण जर देवाची इच्छा असेल तर तुमच्यासमवेत काही काळ घालवावा अशी इच्छा मी धरतो.
7for I do not wish to see you now in the passing, but I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord may permit;
8पन्नासाव्या दिवसाच्या सणापर्यंत मी इफिसात राहीन
8and I will remain in Ephesus till the Pentecost,
9कारण माइयासाठी मोठे आणि परिणामकारक दार उघडले आहे. आणि असे अनेक आहेत जे मला विरोध करतात.
9for a door to me hath been opened — great and effectual — and withstanders [are] many.
10जर तीमथ्य आला तर तो तुमच्याजवळ निर्भयपणे कसा राहील याकडे लक्ष द्या. कारण तोही माझ्यासारखेच प्रभूचे कार्य करीत आहे.
10And if Timotheus may come, see that he may become without fear with you, for the work of the Lord he doth work, even as I,
11यास्तव कोणीही त्याला तुच्छ मानू नये. तर मग त्याने माझ्याकडे यावे म्हणून त्याला शांतीने पाठवा. कारण इतर बंधूंबरोबर त्याच्या येण्याची मी वाट पाहत आहे.
11no one, then, may despise him; and send ye him forward in peace, that he may come to me, for I expect him with the brethren;
12आता आपला बंधु अपुल्लोविषयी, इतर बंधूंबरोबर त्याने तुमच्याकडे यावे म्हणून मी त्याला भरपूर उत्तेजन दिले. परंतु आताच त्याने तुमच्याकडे यावे अशी देवाची इच्छा नव्हती. त्याला संधी मिळाल्यावर तो येईल.
12and concerning Apollos our brother, much I did entreat him that he may come unto you with the brethren, and it was not at all [his] will that he may come now, and he will come when he may find convenient.
13सावध असा, तुमच्या विश्वासात बळकट राहा.
13Watch ye, stand in the faith; be men, be strong;
14धैर्यशील व्हा. सशक्त व्हा. प्रत्येक गोष्ट जी तुम्ही कराल ती प्रीतीत करा.
14let all your things be done in love.
15बंधूंनो, मी तुम्हांला बोध करतो तुम्हांला स्तेफनच्या घराची माहिती आहे आणि जाणीवही आहे की ते अखयाचे प्रथम फळ आहे. त्यांनी स्वत: संतांची सेवा करण्याचे ठरविले आहे.
15And I entreat you, brethren, ye have known the household of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruit of Achaia, and to the ministration to the saints they did set themselves —
16प्रत्येक जण जो या कार्यात सामील होतो व प्रभुसाठी श्रम करतो अशा लोकांच्या तुम्हीसुद्धा अधीन व्हा.
16that ye also be subject to such, and to every one who is working with [us] and labouring;
17स्तेफन, फर्तुतात आणि अखायिक हे आल्याने मला आनंद झाला. कारण तुम्ही माझ्यासाठी जे केले ते तुम्ही करु शकला नसता.
17and I rejoice over the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because the lack of you did these fill up;
18कारण त्यांनी माझा व तुमचा आत्मा प्रफुल्लीत केला आहे. अशा लोकांना मान्यता द्या.
18for they did refresh my spirit and yours; acknowledge ye, therefore, those who [are] such.
19आशियातील मंडळ्या तुम्हांला सलाम सांगतात. अक्विला, प्रिस्कील्ला व जी मंडळी त्यांच्या घरात जमते, ती प्रभूमध्ये तुम्हांला फार सलाम सांगतात,
19Salute you do the assemblies of Asia; salute you much in the Lord do Aquilas and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house;
20सर्व बंधु तुम्हांला सलाम सांगतात, पवित्र चुंबनाने एकमेकांना सलाम करा.
20salute you do all the brethren; salute ye one another in an holy kiss.
21मी, पौल स्वत: माइया स्वत:च्या हाताने हा सलाम लिहीत आहे.
21The salutation of [me] Paul with my hand;
22जर कोणी प्रभूवर प्रीति करीत नाही, तर तो शापित होवो. “मारानाथा; हे प्रभु य”
22if any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ — let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!
23प्रभु येशूची कृपा तुम्हांबरोबर असो!
23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [is] with you;
24ख्रिस्त येशूमध्ये माझी प्रीति तुम्हां सर्वांबरोबर असो.
24my love [is] with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
