1दुसऱ्यांदा येशू सभास्थानात गेला. तेथे वाळलेल्या हाताचा मनुष्या होता.
1And he entered again into the synagogue, and there was there a man having the hand withered,
2येशूवर आरोप करण्यासाठी कारण मिळावे म्हणून तो शब्बाथ दिवशी त्या मनुष्याला बरे करतो की काय हे पाहण्यासाठी काही लोक त्याच्यावर बारकाईने नजर ठेवून होते.
2and they were watching him, whether on the sabbaths he will heal him, that they might accuse him.
3येशू वाळलेल्या हाताच्या मनुष्याला म्हणाला, “लोकांच्या समोर उभा राहा.”
3And he saith to the man having the hand withered, `Rise up in the midst.`
4नंतर तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “शब्बाथ दिवशी चांगले करणे किंवा वाईट करणे, जीव वाचविणे किंवा जिवे मारणे यांतील कोणते योग्य आहे?” परंतु ते गप्प रहीले.
4And he saith to them, `Is it lawful on the sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? life to save, or to kill?` but they were silent.
5येशूने सर्वांकडे रागाने पाहिले. त्यांच्या मनाच्या कठीणतमुळे तोे फार खिन्न झाला. तो त्या मनुष्याला म्हणाला, “तुझा हात पुढे सरळ कर,” त्याने तो लांब केला आणि त्याचा हात बरा झाला.
5And having looked round upon them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their heart, he saith to the man, `Stretch forth thy hand;` and he stretched forth, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
6नंतर परूशी निघून गेले आणि लगेच त्याला ठार करणे कसे शक्य होईल याविषयी हेरोदीयांबरोबर येशूविरूद्ध कट करू लागले.
6and the Pharisees having gone forth, immediately, with the Herodians, were taking counsel against him how they might destroy him.
7येशू आपल्या शिष्यांसह गालील सरोवराकडे निघून गेला आणि गालील व यहूदीयातून मोठा लोकसमुदाय त्याच्या मागे आला.
7And Jesus withdrew with his disciples unto the sea, and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judea,
8कारण तो करीत असलेल्या कृत्यांविषयी त्यांनी ऐकले व यरुशलेम, इदूमिया, यार्देनेच्या पलीकडच्या प्रदेशातून, सोर व सीदोनच्या आसपासच्या प्रदेशातून मोठा लोकसमुदाय येशूकडे आला.
8and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and beyond the Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon — a great multitude — having heard how great things he was doing, came unto him.
9मग गर्दीमुळे चेंगरून जाऊ नये म्हणून त्याने आपल्या शिष्यांस एक छोठी होडी आणावयास सांगितली,
9And he said to his disciples that a little boat may wait on him, because of the multitude, that they may not press upon him,
10त्याने अनेक लोकांना बरे केले होते म्हणून ज्यांना रोग होते ते त्याला स्पर्श करण्यासाठी व वाट काढण्यासाठी पूढे रेटीत होते.
10for he did heal many, so that they threw themselves on him, in order to touch him — as many as had plagues;
11जेव्हा अशुद्ध आत्मे येशूला पाहत तेव्हा ते त्याच्यासमोर खाली पडून मोठ्याने ओरडत की, “तू देवाचा पुत्र आहेस!”
11and the unclean spirits, when they were seeing him, were falling down before him, and were crying, saying — `Thou art the Son of God;`
12पण त्याने त्यांना सक्त ताकीद दिली की, मला प्रगट करू नका.
12and many times he was charging them that they might not make him manifest.
13नंतर येशू डोंगरावर गेला आणि जे त्याला पाहिजे होते त्यांना त्याने स्वत:कडे बोलाविल. व ते त्याच्याकडे आले.
13And he goeth up to the mountain, and doth call near whom he willed, and they went away to him;
14त्याने बारा जण निवडले व त्यांना प्रेषीत हे नाव दिले. त्याने त्यांची यासाठी निवड केली की, त्यांनी त्याच्याजवळ असावे व त्यांना दुसऱ्या ठिकाणी उपदेश करण्यासाठी त्याला पाठविता यावे.
14and he appointed twelve, that they may be with him, and that he may send them forth to preach,
15व त्यांना भुते काढण्याचा अधिकार असावा.
15and to have power to heal the sicknesses, and to cast out the demons.
16मग येशूने या बारा जणांची निवड केली व जो शिमोन त्याला पेत्र हे नाव दिले.
16And he put on Simon the name Peter;
17जब्दीचा मुलगा याकोब व याकोबाचा भाऊ योहान यांना त्याने बेनेरेगेश, ज्याचा अर्थ ‘गर्जनेचे पुत्र’ असा होतो हे नाव दिले.
17and James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, and he put on them names — Boanerges, that is, `Sons of thunder;`
18अंद्रिया, फिलीप, बर्थलमय, मत्तय, थोमा, अल्फीचा मुलगा याकोब, तद्दय, शिमोन कनानी
18and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Cananite,
19आणि यहूदा इस्कर्योत ज्याने नंतर येशूचा विश्वासघात केला.
19and Judas Iscariot, who did also deliver him up; and they come into a house.
20नंतर येशू घरी गेला आणि पुन्हा एकदा एवढा मोठा लोकसमुदाय जमला की, येशू व त्याचे शिष्य जेवूसुद्धा शकले नाहीत.
20And come together again doth a multitude, so that they are not able even to eat bread;
21त्याच्या कुटुंबातील लोकांनी याविषयी ऐकले तेव्हा ते त्यास आणावयास गेले कारण लोक म्हणत होते की तो वेडा आहे.
21and his friends having heard, went forth to lay hold on him, for they said that he was beside himself,
22यरूशलेमेहून आलेले नियमशास्त्राचे शिक्षक म्हणत होते की, “याच्यामध्ये बालजबूल आहे.” आणि त्या भुतांच्या अधिपतीच्या सामर्थ्याने हा भुतांना घालवून देतो.”
22and the scribes who [are] from Jerusalem having come down, said — `He hath Beelzeboul,` and — `By the ruler of the demons he doth cast out the demons.`
23मग य़ेशूने त्यांना जवळ बोलाविले व बोधकथेच्या साहाय्याने त्याच्याशी बोलू लागला, “सैतानच सैतानाला कसा काढू शकेल?
23And, having called them near, in similes he said to them, `How is the Adversary able to cast out the Adversary?
24जर राज्यातच फूट पडली तर ते राज्य टिकू शकत नाही.
24and if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25आणि घरातच फूट पडली तर ते घर टिकू शकत नाही.
25and if a house against itself be divided, that house cannot be made to stand;
26तर मग सैतान स्वत:लाच विरोध करू लागला आणि त्याच्यातच फूट पडली तर तो टिकू शकणार नाही. परंतु त्याचा शेवट होईल.
26and if the Adversary did rise against himself, and hath been divided, he cannot be made to stand, but hath an end.
27खरोखर कोणालाही बलवान मनुष्याच्या घरात शिरून त्याची मिळकत लुटता येणार नाही. प्रथम त्या बलवान माणसाला बांधले पाहिजे, मगच त्याचे घर लुटता येईल.
27`No one is able the vessels of the strong man — having entered into his house — to spoil, if first he may not bind the strong man, and then his house he will spoil.
28मी तुम्हांस खरे सांगतो की, लोकांच्या पापांची व त्यांनी केलेल्या देवाच्या निंदेची त्यांना क्षमा होईल.
28`Verily I say to you, that all the sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and evil speakings with which they might speak evil,
29पण जो कोणी पवित्र आत्म्याची निंदा करील, त्याची कधीच क्षमा होणार नाही आणि तो मनुष्य सार्वकालिक पापाचा दोषी आहे.
29but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness — to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;`
30येशू असे म्हणाला कारण नियमशास्त्राचे शिक्षक म्हणाले की त्याच्यामध्ये अशुद्ध आत्मा आहे.
30because they said, `He hath an unclean spirit.`
31नंतर येशूची आई आणि भाऊ तेथे आले. ते बाहेर उभे राहिले आणि कोणाला तरी त्याला बोलवावायास पाठविले.
31Then come do his brethren and mother, and standing without, they sent unto him, calling him,
32लोकसमुदाय त्याच्याभोवती जमा झाला होता. लोक येशूला म्हणाले, “पाहा तुझी आई व तुझे भाऊ बाहेर तुझी वाट पाहात आहेत.”
32and a multitude was sitting about him, and they said to him, `Lo, thy mother and thy brethren without do seek thee.`
33त्याने त्यांना उत्तर दिले. “कोण माझी आई आणि कोण माझे भाऊ?”
33And he answered them, saying, `Who is my mother, or my brethren?`
34येशूने जे त्याच्याभोवती जमले होते त्यांच्याकडे पाहिले आणि म्हणाला, “हे पाहा माझी आई आणि माझे भाऊ.”
34And having looked round in a circle to those sitting about him, he saith, `Lo, my mother and my brethren!
35जे जे कोणी देवाच्या इच्छेाप्रमाणे वागतात तेच माझे भाऊ, माझी बहीण व माझी आई आहेत.”
35for whoever may do the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.`
