5For there have sat thrones of judgment, Thrones of the house of David.
6यरुशलेममध्ये शांती नांदावी म्हणून प्रार्थना करा. “जे लोक तुझ्यावर प्रेम करतात त्यांना इथे शांती मिळेल, अशी मी आशा करतो. तुझ्या चार भिंतींच्या आत शांती असेल अशी मी आशा करतो. तुझ्या मोठ्या इमारतीत, सुरक्षितता असेल अशी मी आशा करतो.”
6Ask ye the peace of Jerusalem, At rest are those loving thee.
7माझ्या भावांच्या आणि शेजाऱ्यांच्या भल्यासाठी तिथे शांती नांदो अशी मी आशा करतो.
7Peace is in thy bulwark, rest in thy high places,
8आपला देव, आपला परमेश्वर, त्याच्या मंदिराच्या भल्यासाठी या शहरात चांगल्या गोष्टी घडाव्यात अशी मी प्रार्थना करतो.
8For the sake of my brethren and my companions, Let me speak, I pray thee, `Peace [be] in thee.`
