16आर्वाही, समारी, हमाथी हे होत.

17The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

23and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

24Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25एबर, पेलेग, रऊ
25Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26सरुग, नाहोर, तेरह,
26Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27अब्राम (म्हणजेच अब्राहाम) ही सर्व शेमची मुले.

34Abraham became the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.

39The sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan’s sister.

43Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44बेलाच्या निधनानंतर जेरहचा मुलगा योबाब राजा झाला. योबाब बस्रा येथील होता.
44Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his place.
45योबाब मरण पावल्यानंतर त्याच्या जागी हूशाम गादीवर आला. हा तेमानी देशातील होता.
45Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
46हूशामच्या मृत्यूनंतर बदादचा मुलगा हदाद याने राज्य केले. त्याने मवाबच्या देशात मिद्यानचा पराभव केला. हदादच्या नगराचे नाव अवीत होते.
46Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Avith.
47हदाद मरण पावल्यावर साम्ला राजा झाला. हा मास्रेका येथील होता.
47Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.
48साम्ला मरण पावल्यावर त्याच्या जागी शौल राज्यावर आला. हा युफ्राटीस नदीवरल्या रहोबोथचा होता.
48Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his place.
49शौल वारल्यावर अकबोरचा मुलगा बाल - हानान राजा झाला.
49Shaul died, and Baal Hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
50बाल-हानान नारल्यावर हदाद राजा झाला. त्याच्या नगराचे नाव पाई असे होते. हदादच्या बायकोचे नाव महेटाबेल. ही मात्रेद हिची मुलगी. मात्रेद मे - जाहाबची मुलगी.
50Baal Hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
