¹ही माझी तुम्हांला भेटण्याची तिसरी वेळ आहे. ‘प्रत्येक गोष्ट दोन किंवा तीन साक्षीदारांच्या साक्षीने सिद्ध करावी.’

¹This is the third time I am coming to you. “At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” Deuteronomy 19:15

²मी अगोदरच सूचना दिलेली होती जेव्हा दुसन्यावेळी मी तुमच्याबरोबर होतो. आता मी तुमच्यात नसताना ती सूचना पुन्हा सांगतो: माइया परत येण्याच्या वेळी अगोदर ज्यांनी पाप केले त्यांना मी सोडणार नाही किंवा दुसन्यांनाही नाही.

²I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, I write to those who have sinned before now, and to all the rest, that, if I come again, I will not spare;

³खिस्त माझ्याद्वारे बोलतो याविषयीच्या पुराव्याची तुम्ही मागणी करीत आहात. तुमच्याशी व्यावहार करताना तो अशक्त नाही तर सामर्थ्यशाली आहे.

³seeing that you seek a proof of Christ who speaks in me; who toward you is not weak, but is powerful in you.

⁴कारण जरी तो अशक्तपणात वधस्तंभावर खिळला गेला तरी तो देवाच्या सामर्थ्याने जिवंत आहे, कारण आम्हीही त्याच्यामध्ये अशक्त आहोत. तरी देवाच्या सामर्थ्याने त्याच्याबरोबर तुमच्यासाठी आम्ही जिवंत असू.

⁴For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

⁵तुम्ही विश्वासात आहा की नाही याविषयी स्वत:ची परिक्षा पाहा. पारख करा. ख्रिस्त तुमच्यामध्ये आहे, ह्याची जाणीव तुम्हांला होत नाही का? जर अर्थात तुम्ही परीक्षेत उतरला नाही तर.

⁵Test your own selves, whether you are in the faith. Test your own selves. Or don’t you know as to your own selves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

⁶आणि माझा विश्वास आहे की, तुम्ही हे शोधाल की, या परीक्षेत आम्ही अनुत्तीर्ण झालो नाही.

⁶But I hope that you will know that we aren’t disqualified.

⁷आता आम्ही देवाजवळ आशी प्रार्थना करतो की, तुम्ही काहीही चुकीचे करणार नाही. आम्ही परीक्षेत उत्तीर्ण व्हावे यासाठी नव्हे तर अशासाठी की, आम्ही जरी नाकारलेल्यासारखे असलो तरी तुम्ही चांगले काम करावे.

⁷Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that you may do that which is honorable, though we are as reprobate.

⁸कारण खरेपणाविरुद्ध आम्हांस काही करता येत नाही. तर खरपणासाठी करता येते.

⁸For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

⁹जेव्हा आम्ही अशक्त आहो आणि तुम्ही शक्तीमान आहा, तेव्हा आम्ही आनंद करतो. आणि आम्ही प्रार्थनाही करतो, मी अशी की, तुम्ही पूर्ण व्हावे.

⁹For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. And this we also pray for, even your perfecting.

¹⁰यामुळे तुम्हापासून आम्ही दूर असताना हे तुम्हाला लिहितो, यासाठी की, प्रभुने जो अधिकार तुम्हांला खाली पाडून टाकण्यासाठी नव्हे तर वृद्धीसाठी मला दिला त्याप्रमाणे जवळ आल्यावर मी कठोर वागू नये.

¹⁰For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for tearing down.

¹¹शेवटी बंधूनो, आपण भेटू या, परिपूर्णतेकडे ध्येय असू द्या. जसे मी तुम्हांला सांगितले तसे करा. एका मनाचे व्हा, शांतीने राहा. आणि प्रीतीचा व शांतीचा देव तुमच्याबरोबर असेल.

¹¹Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be perfected, be comforted, be of the same mind, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

¹²पवित्र चुंबनाने एकमेकास भेटा.

¹²Greet one another with a holy kiss.

¹³सर्व संत आपणांस सलाम सांगतात.

¹³All the saints greet you.

¹⁴प्रभु येशू ख्रिस्ताची कृपा आणि देवाची प्रीति आणि पवित्र आत्म्याची सहभागिता तुम्हा सर्वाबरोबर असो.

¹⁴The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.
