¹देवाच्या इच्छेने येशू ख्रिस्ताचा प्रेषित पौल आणि आमचा बंधु तीमथयी याजकडून,

¹Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

²to the saints and faithful brothers The word for “brothers” here and where context allows may also be correctly translated “brothers and sisters” or “siblings.” in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

³आम्ही जेव्हा तुमच्यासाठी प्रार्थना करतो, तेव्हा आम्ही नेहमी देवाचे, जो आमच्या प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्ताचा पिता आहे त्याचे, आभार मानतो.

³We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

⁴कारण आम्ही ख्रिस्त येशूवरील तुमच्या विश्वासाविषयी आणि देवाच्या सर्व लोकांविषयी तुम्हाला वाटत असलेल्या प्रेमाविषयी ऐकले आहे.

⁴having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which you have toward all the saints,

⁵कारण स्वार्गमध्ये जी आशा तुमच्यासाठी राखून ठेवली आहे. तुम्ही पहिल्यांदा त्या आशेविषयी खऱ्या संदेशाद्वारे म्हणजेच सुवार्तेद्वारे ऐकले.

⁵because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,

⁶जी सुवार्ता तुमच्याकडे आली आहे, संपूर्ण जगातून त्या सुवार्तेचे फळ मिळत आहे व ती वाढत आहे. ज्याप्रमाणे ती तुमच्यामध्येसुद्धा तशीच वाढत होती व फळ देत होती, ज्या दिवसापासून तुम्ही देवाच्या कृपेविषयी ऐकले व ती खरोखर काय आहे हे समजून घेतले तेव्हापासून ती कार्य करीत आहे.

⁶which has come to you; even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

⁷तुम्ही ते, आमचा सहसेवक एपफ्रास, जो आमच्या वतीने ख्रिस्ताचा विश्वासू सेवक आहे, त्याच्याकडून शिकून घेतले आहे.

⁷even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf,

⁸त्याने आम्हांला तुमचे प्रेम आत्म्यापासून आहे त्याविषयीही सांगितले.

⁸who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

⁹For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

¹⁰यासाठी की, त्याला योग्य असे तुम्ही चालावे. आणि सर्व बाबतीत त्याला आनंद द्यावा; आणि तुम्ही देवाच्या ज्ञानात वाढावे;

¹⁰that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

¹¹त्याच्या गौरवी सामर्थ्यात त्याच्या महान सामर्थ्यामुळे समर्थ बनण्यासाठी तुम्हांला सहनशीलता व धैर्य प्राप्त व्हावे.

¹¹strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;

¹²आणि आनंदाने पित्याला धन्यवाद द्यावेत, ज्याने तुम्हांला प्रकाशात राहणाऱ्या देवाच्या लोकांचे जे वतन आहे त्यात वाटा मिळण्यासाठी पात्र केले.

¹²giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light;

¹³देवाने अंधाराच्या अधिपत्यापासून आमची सुटका केली आणि त्याच्या प्रिय पुत्राच्या राज्यात आणले.

¹³who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love;

¹⁴in whom we have our redemption, TR adds “through his blood,” the forgiveness of our sins;

¹⁵who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

¹⁷He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.

¹⁸He is the head of the body, the assembly, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

¹⁹For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him;

²⁰and through him to reconcile all things to himself, by him, whether things on the earth, or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.

²¹You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works,

²²yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,

²³तुम्ही तुमच्या विश्वासात दृढ व स्थिर असावे आणि जी सुवार्ता तुम्ही ऐकली आहे तिच्याद्वारे तुम्हांला दिलेल्या आशेपासून दूर जाऊ नये, ज्याचा मी पौल सेवक झालो.

²³if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Paul, was made a servant.

²⁴आता, तुमच्यासाठी मला झालेल्या दु:खात मला आनंद वाटतो आणि माझ्या स्वत:च्या शरीरात मी ख्रिस्ताचे त्याच्या देहाचे म्हणजे मंडळीच्या वतीने ख्रिस्ताचे जे दु:ख कमी पडत आहे ते मी पूर्ण करीत आहे.

²⁴Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly;

²⁵देवाच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे मी एक त्यांच्यापैकी सेवक झालो. ती आज्ञा तुमचा फायदा व्हावा म्हणून दिली होती. ती म्हणजे देवाचा संदेश पूर्णपणे गाजवावा.

²⁵of which I was made a servant, according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you, to fulfill the word of God,

²⁶हा संदेश एक रहस्य आहे, जे अनेक युगांपासून आणि अनेक पिढ्यांपासून लपवून ठेवले होते. परंतु आता ते देवाने त्याच्या लोकांना माहीत करुन दिले आहे.

²⁶the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,

²⁷देवाला त्याच्या लोकांना माहीत करुन द्यायचे होते की, विदेशी लोकांमध्ये या वैभवी रहस्याची संपत्ती ख्रिस्त येशू जो तुम्हांमध्ये आहे आणि जो देवाच्या गौरवामध्ये सहभागी होण्याची आमची आशा आहे.

²⁷to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory;

²⁸आम्ही त्याची घोषणा करतो. प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला सूचना देतो, व प्रत्येक व्यक्तीला शक्य ते ज्ञानाने शिकविण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो यासाठी की, आम्हांला प्रत्येक व्यक्ति ख्रिस्तामध्ये पर्ण अशी देवाला सादर करता यावी.

²⁸whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;

²⁹या उद्देशाने मी झगडत आहे. ख्रिस्ताच्या शक्तीच्या उपयोगाने, जी माझ्यामध्ये सामर्थ्यशाली रीतीने कार्य करीत आहे.

²⁹for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
