¹For the law, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.

²Or else wouldn’t they have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins?

³But in those sacrifices there is a yearly reminder of sins.

⁴For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

⁵Therefore when he comes into the world, he says, “Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire, but you prepared a body for me;

⁷मग मी म्हणालो, ‘हा मी आहे! नियमशास्त्राच्या गुंडाळ्यामध्ये माझ्याबद्दल लिहून ठेवले आहे, देवा, तुझी इच्छा पूर्ण करण्यास मी आलो आहे.’” स्तोत्र. 40:6-8

⁷Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’” Psalm 40:6-8

⁸Previously saying, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them” (those which are offered according to the law),

⁹मग तो म्हणाला, “हा मी आहे! तुझी इच्छा पूर्ण करण्यास मी आलो आहे.” अशा रीतीने त्याने दुसरी व्यवस्था करण्यासाठी पहिली रद्द केली.

⁹then he has said, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,

¹⁰देवाच्या इच्छेनुसार येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या देहाच्या एकदाच झालेल्या अर्पणाद्वारे आपण शुद्ध करण्यात आलो.

¹⁰by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

¹¹प्रत्येक यहूदी याजक उभा राहतो आणि दररोज त्याची धार्मिक कामे करत असतो आणि ज्यामुळे पाप नाहीसे होत नाही असे यज्ञ तो वारंवार अर्पण करतो.

¹¹Every priest indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,

¹²परंतु आपल्या पापांसाठी येशूने त्याच्या देहाचे एकमेव अर्पण केले. कारण ते सर्वकाळासाठी चांगले होते. तो आता देवाच्या उजवीकडे बसला आहे.

¹²but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;

¹³from that time waiting until his enemies are made the footstool of his feet.

¹⁴For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.

¹⁷“I will remember their sins and their iniquities no more.” Jeremiah 31:34

¹⁸Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

¹⁹म्हणून बंधु आणि भगिनींनो, येशूच्या रक्ताद्वारे आपण बिनधास्तपणे परमपवित्र स्थानामध्ये प्रवेश करतो.

¹⁹Having therefore, brothers, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,

²⁰by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

²¹and having a great priest over God’s house,

²²let’s draw near with a true heart in fullness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and having our body washed with pure water,

²³let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

²⁴Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works,

²⁵not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

²⁷पण जे देवाला विरोध करतात त्यांना भयंकर अशा न्यायनिवाड्याशिवाय व भयंकर अशा भस्म करणाऱ्या अग्नीशिवाय दुसरे काही शिल्लक राहिले नाही.

²⁷but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which will devour the adversaries.

²⁸जो कोणी मोशेचे नियमशास्त्र नाकारतो त्याला दोघा किंवा तिघांच्या साक्षीच्या आधारे कसलीही दया न दाखविता मारतात.

²⁸A man who disregards Moses’ law dies without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses.

²⁹तर मग ज्याने देवाच्या पुत्राला पायाखाली तुडविले, ज्या रक्ताने त्याला शुद्ध केले त्या रक्ताला अपवित्र ठरविले आणि ज्याने कृपेच्या आत्म्याचा अपमान केला, त्या मनुष्याला कितीतरी अधिक शिक्षा मिळेल याचा विचार करा!

²⁹How much worse punishment, do you think, will he be judged worthy of, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant with which he was sanctified an unholy thing, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

³⁰कारण त्याला ओळखतो तो म्हणतो, “सूड घेणे माझ्या हाती आहे; मी परतफेड करीन.” पुन्हा तो असे म्हणतो, “प्रभू आपल्या लोकांचा न्याय करील.”

³⁰For we know him who said, “Vengeance belongs to me,” says the Lord, “I will repay.” Deuteronomy 32:35 Again, “The Lord will judge his people.” Deuteronomy 32:36; Psalm 135:14

³¹जीवंत देवाच्या हाती सापडणे किती भयंकर गोष्टी आहे.

³¹It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

³²ते पूर्वीचे दिवस आठवा, जेव्हा नुकताच तुम्हाला सुवार्तेचा प्रकाश प्राप्त झाला होता, तेव्हा तुम्ही भयंकर दु:खे सोसली.

³²But remember the former days, in which, after you were enlightened, you endured a great struggle with sufferings;

³³काही वेळा जाहीरपणे तुमचा अपमान करण्यात आला. आणि वाईट शब्द वापरण्यात आले, तर काही वेळा ज्यांना अशा रीतीने वागणूक मिळाली त्यांचे सहभागी व्हावे लागले.

³³partly, being exposed to both reproaches and oppressions; and partly, becoming partakers with those who were treated so.

³⁴For you both had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your possessions, knowing that you have for yourselves a better possession and an enduring one in the heavens.

³⁵म्हणून तुमच्यामध्ये जो टृढ विश्वास होता तो सोडू नका. कारण त्यापासून तुम्हाला मोठा लाभ होणार आहे.

³⁵Therefore don’t throw away your boldness, which has a great reward.

³⁶तुम्ही धीर धरणे जरूरीचे आहे. म्हणजे जेव्हा तुम्ही देवाची इच्छा पूर्ण करून त्याने तुम्हांला दिलेल्या त्याच्या वचनाप्रमाणे तुम्ही प्रतिफळ मिळावे.

³⁶For you need endurance so that, having done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

³⁷आता अगदी थोडक्या अवधीनंतर, “जो येणारा आहे, तो येईल, तो उशीर लावणार नाही.

³⁷“In a very little while, he who comes will come, and will not wait.

³⁸परंतु माझा धार्मिक पुरुष विश्वासाने वाचेल आणि जर तो पाठ फिरवील तर माझ्या जिवाला संतोष होणार नाही.” हबक्कू 2:3-4

³⁸But the righteous will live by faith. If he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” Habakkuk 2:3-4

³⁹पंरतु पाठ फिरवून नष्ट झालेल्यांपैकी आपण नाही, तर आपल्या जिवाचे तारण साधून विश्वास बागळणाऱ्यांपैकी आहोत.

³⁹But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
