1परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “माझ्याकडे सल्ला मागण्याकरिता न आलेल्या लोकांनाही मी मदत केली. जे मला शोधत नव्हते, त्यांनाही मी सापडलो. माझे नाव धारण न करणाऱ्या राष्ट्रबरोबर मी बोललो. मी म्हणालो, ‘मी येथे आहे! मी येथे आहे!’
1“I am inquired of by those who didn’t ask; I am found by those who didn’t seek me: I said, See me, see me, to a nation that was not called by my name.
2“माझ्या विरूध्द गेलेल्या लोकांना स्वीकारायच्या तयारीत मी उभा राहिलो. ते माझ्याकडे येतील म्हणून मी त्यांची वाट पाहत होतो. पण ते त्यांच्या वाईट मार्गाप्रमाणेच जगत राहिले. त्यांच्या मनांत आले ते त्यांनी केले.
2I have spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;
3ते लोक माझ्यासमोर असे वागून मला राग आणतात. ते त्यांच्या खास बागांत होमार्पण अर्पण करतात आणि धूप जाळतात.
3a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens, and burning incense on bricks;

4who sit among the graves, and lodge in the secret places; who eat pig’s flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

5who say, Stand by yourself, don’t come near to me, for I am holier than you. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.
6“हे बघा, हा हिशेब चुकता केलाच पाहिजे. हा हिशेब, तुम्ही पापे करून अपराध केल्याचे दाखवितो. हा हिशेब चुकता केल्याशिवाय मी गप्प बसणार नाही. आणि तुम्हाला शिक्षा करून मी हा हिशेब चुकता करीन.
6“Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, yes, I will recompense into their bosom,
7“तुमची आणि तुमच्या वडिलांची पापे सारखीच आहेत.” परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “त्यांनी डोंगरावर धूप जाळून ही पापे केली. त्या टेकड्यांवर त्यांनी माझी अप्रतिष्ठा केली म्हणून मी त्यांना प्रथम शिक्षा केली. त्यांना मिळायला हवी होती तीच शिक्षा मी त्यांना दिली.”
7your own iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together,” says Yahweh, “who have burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed me on the hills; therefore will I first measure their work into their bosom.”
8परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “द्राक्षांत जेव्हा नवा रस भरतो, तेव्हा लोक तो पिळून काढून घेतात, पण ते द्राक्षांचा संपूर्ण नाश करीत नाहीत. कारण ती द्राक्षे अजून उपयोगात येऊ शकतात. मी माझ्या सेवकांच्या बाबतीत असेच करीन. मी त्यांना संपूर्णपणे नष्ट करणार नाही.
8Thus says Yahweh, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for a blessing is in it:’ so will I do for my servants’ sake, that I may not destroy them all.
9मी याकोबच्या (इस्राएलच्या) काही लोकांना ठेवीन. यहूदातील काही लोकांना माझा डोंगर मिळेल. माझे सेवक तेथे राहतील. तेथे राहण्यासाठी मी लोकांची निवड करीन.
9I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains; and my chosen shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10मग शारोन दरी मेंढ्यांचे चरण्याचे कुरण होईल. अखोरची दरी गुरांचे विसाव्याचे ठिकाण होईल. ह्या सर्व गोष्टी, माझ्या लोकांसाठी मला शोधणाऱ्या लोकांसाठी होतील.
10Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
11“पण तुम्ही परमेश्वराचा त्याग केला म्हणून तुम्हाला शिक्षा होईल. माझ्या पवित्र डोंगराला तुम्ही विसरला. तुम्ही गादाची पूजा करायला सुरवात केली. तुम्ही मनीवर खोट्या देवावर विसंबता.
11“But you who forsake Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;
12पण मी तुमचे भविष्य ठरवितो. आणि मी तुम्हाला तलवारीने मारायचे ठरविले आहे. तुम्ही सर्व मारले जाल का? कारण मी तुम्हाला बोलाविले आणि तुम्ही मला ओ द्यायचे नाकारले. मी तुमच्याशी बोललो पण तुम्ही माझे ऐकले नाही. मी ज्यांना पापे म्हणतो, त्या गोष्टी तुम्ही केल्या. मला आवडत नसलेल्या गोष्टी करायचे तुम्ही ठरविले.”
12I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you didn’t answer; when I spoke, you didn’t listen; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn’t delight.”
13तेव्हा, परमेश्वर, माझा प्रभू असे म्हणाला, “माझ्या सेवकांना खायला मिळेल, पण तुम्ही पापी भुकेले राहाल. माझ्या सेवकांना पाणी मिळेल, पण तुम्ही तहानलेले राहाल. माझे सेवक सुखी होतील, पण तुम्ही लज्जित व्हाल.
13Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh, “Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be disappointed;
14माझ्या सेवकांच्या हृदयांत चांगुलपणा असल्याने ते सुखी होतील. पण तुम्ही दुष्ट प्रवृत्तीचे लोक रडाल, कारण तुमच्या हृदयांत वेदना असतील, तुमचा तेजोभंग होईल, आणि तुम्ही खूप दु:खी व्हाल.
14behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for anguish of spirit.

15You shall leave your name for a curse to my chosen; and the Lord Yahweh will kill you; and he will call his servants by another name:
16आता लोक भूमीचे आशीर्वाद मागतात. पण भविष्यात ते खऱ्या देवाचे आशीर्वाद मागतील. लोक आता शपथ घेताना भूमीच्या बळावर विश्वास टाकतात. पण पुढील काळात ते खऱ्या देवावर विश्वास ठेवतील का? कारण पूर्वीचे सर्व त्रास विसरले जातील. माझ्या लोकांना पुन्हा कधीही त्या त्रासांची आठवण येणार नाही.
16so that he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he who swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hidden from my eyes.
17“मी नवा स्वर्ग आणि नवी पृथ्वी निर्माण करीन. लोक भूतकाळाची आठवण ठेवणार नाहीत. त्यांना त्यातील एकही गोष्ट आठवणार नाही.
17“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18माझे लोक सुखी होतील. ते अखंड आनंदात राहतील का? मी जे निर्माण करीन त्यामुळे असे होईल. मी यरूशेमला आनंदाने भरून टाकीन आणि त्यांना सुखी करीन.
18But be you glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19“मग यरूशलेमबरोबर मलाही आनंद होईल. मी माझ्या लोकांबरोबर सुखी होईन. त्या नगरीत पुन्हा कधीही आक्रोश व दु:ख असणार नाही.
19I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
20तेथे पुन्हा कधीही अल्पायुषी मुले जन्माला येणार नाहीत. त्या नगरीत कोणीही माणूस अल्प वयात मरणार नाही. आबालवृध्द दीर्घायुषी होतील. शंभर वर्षे जगणाऱ्याला तरूण म्हटले जाईल. पण पापी माणूस जरी शंभर वर्षे जगला तरी त्याच्यावर खूप संकटे येतील.
20“There shall be no more there an infant of days, nor an old man who has not filled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, and the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.
21“त्या नगरीत घर बांधणाऱ्याला त्या घरात राहायला मिळेल. आणि द्राक्षाचा मळा लावणाऱ्याला त्या मळ्यातील द्राक्षे खायला मिळतील.
21They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat their fruit.
22एकाने घर बांधायचे व त्यात दुसऱ्याने राहायचे किंवा एकाने द्राक्ष मळा लावायचा व दुसऱ्याने त्या मळ्यातील द्राक्षे खायची असे तेथे पुन्हा कधीही होणार नाही. माझे लोक वृक्षांएवढे जगतील. मी निवडलेले लोक, त्यांनी स्वत: तयार केलेल्या गोष्टींचा, आनंद लुटतील.
22They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23स्त्रियांना बाळंतपणाचा त्रास कधीच होणार नाही. बाळंतपणात काय होईल ह्याची त्यांना भिती वाटणार नाही. परमेश्वर माझ्या सर्व लोकांना व त्यांच्या मुलांना आशीर्वाद देईल.
23They shall not labor in vain, nor bring forth for calamity; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.
24त्यांनी मागण्या आधीच त्यांना काय पाहिजे ते मला समजेल. आणि त्यांचे मागणे पुरे होण्याआधीच मी त्यांना मदत करीन.
24It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25लांडगे आणि कोकरे, सिंह आणि गुरे एकत्र जेवतील. माझ्या पवित्र डोंगरावरील कोणाही माणसाला जमिनीवरचा साप घाबरविणार नाही. अथवा चावणार नाही. “परमेश्वराने ह्या सर्व गोष्टी सांगितल्या.
25The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; and dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain,” says Yahweh.
