¹नंतर शिमोन वंशजांच्या सर्व कुळांतील लोकांना यहोशवाने जमिनीतील हिस्सा दिला. यहूदाच्या वाटणीची जमिनी मध्येच यांचाही वाटा होता.

²तयांना मिळालेला भाग असा; बैरशेबा (म्हणजेच शेबा), मोलादा,

⁶बेथ-लबवोथ, शारुहेन ही तेरा नगरे व आसपासचा भाग.

⁶Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;

⁷अईन, रिम्मोन एतेर व आशान ही चार नगरे व भोवतालची गावेही त्यांना मिळाली.

⁷Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;

⁸तसेच बालथ-बैर (म्हणजेच नेगेवमधील रामा) येथपर्यंत या नगरांच्या चहूकडची गावेही त्यांना मिळाली शिमोनच्या वंशजांना मिळालेला हा भूभाग. प्रत्येक कुळाला त्यात वाटणी मिळाली.

⁸and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.

⁹शिमोनचा प्रदेश यहादाच्या वाटच्या जमिनीच्या अंतर्गतच होता. यहूदाच्या लोकांची जमीन त्यांच्या गरजेच्या मानाने खूपच जास्त होती. म्हणून शिमोनच्या लोकांना त्यातच हिस्सा दिला.

⁹Out of the part of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon; for the portion of the children of Judah was too much for them. Therefore the children of Simeon had inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.

¹⁰जबुलून हा आणखी एक वंश त्यांनाही कुळांप्रमाणे वाटा मिळाला. त्यांच्या जमिनीची हद्द सारीद पर्यंत होती.

¹⁰The third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families. The border of their inheritance was to Sarid.

¹¹ती पश्चिमेकडे वर मरल कडे जाऊन दब्बेशेथपर्यंत जेमतेम पोचली. मग यकनाम झऱ्याच्या बाजूबाजूने गेली.

¹¹Their border went up westward, even to Maralah, and reached to Dabbesheth. It reached to the brook that is before Jokneam.

¹²तेथून पूर्वेला वळून सारीद पासून किसलोथ-ताबोर पर्यंत गेली. तेथून दाबरथ व पुढे याफीय येथपर्यंत गेली.

¹²It turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrise to the border of Chisloth Tabor. It went out to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.

¹³त्यानंतर ती सीमा पूर्वेकडे गथ-हेफेर आणि इजा-कासीनकडे गेली. आणि ती रिम्मोन येथे थांबली त्यानंतर ती वळण घेऊन नेया कडे गेली.

¹³From there it passed along eastward to Gath Hepher, to Ethkazin; and it went out at Rimmon which stretches to Neah.

¹⁴नेया येथे वळसा घालून उत्तरेला हन्राथोनपर्यंत गेली व तिचा शेवट इफता एलाच्या खिंडीपाशी झाला.

¹⁴The border turned around it on the north to Hannathon; and it ended at the valley of Iphtah El;

¹⁵कट्टाथ, नहलाल, शुम्रोन इदला आणि बेथलहेम ही नगरे या हद्दीच्या आत येत होती. ती एकंदर बारा नगरे व आसपासची खेडी होती.

¹⁵Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem: twelve cities with their villages.

¹⁶जबुलूनच्या वाटणीची शहरे व भोवतालचा प्रदेश तो हाच त्याच्या कुळातील सर्वांना यात वाटा मिळाला.

¹⁶This is the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.

¹⁷चौथा हिस्सा इस्साखाराच्या वंशजांना त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे मिळाला.

¹⁷The fourth lot came out for Issachar, even for the children of Issachar according to their families.

¹⁸त्याना मिळालेली जमीन या प्रमाणे: इज्रेल, कसुल्लोथ, शूनेम,

¹⁸Their border was to Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

¹⁹हफराईम, शियोन, अनाहराथ

¹⁹Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

²⁰रब्बीथ, किशोन, अबेस,

²⁰Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,

²¹रेमेथ, एन-गन्नीम, एन-हद्दा आणि बेथ-पसेस.

²¹Remeth, Engannim, En Haddah, and Beth Pazzez.

²²त्यांच्या प्रदेशाची हद्द ताबोर, शहसुमा व बेथ शेमेश यांना लागून होती. यार्देन नदीशी ती थांबत होती. सर्व मिळन सोळा नगरे व त्यांच्या आसपासची खेडी एवढा त्यांचा भाग होता.

²²The border reached to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth Shemesh. Their border ended at the Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.

²³इस्साखाराच्या वंशजांना, त्यांच्यातील सर्व कुळांना मिळालेला हिस्सा तो हाच.

²³This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities with their villages.

²⁴पाचवा हिस्सा आशेरच्या वंशजांना मिळाला. त्याच्यातील सर्व कुळांचे त्यात वाटे होते.

²⁴The fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.

²⁵त्यांना मिळालेली जमीन ही; हेलकथ, हली, बटेन, अक्षाफ

²⁵Their border was Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

²⁶अल्लामेलेख, अमाद, मिशाल पश्चिमेला त्यांची हद्द कर्मेल व शिहोर-लिब्नाथ येथपर्यंत जाऊन

²⁶Allammelech, Amad, Mishal. It reached to Carmel westward, and to Shihorlibnath.

²⁷पुढे पूर्वेला वळली. बेथ दागोनकडे जाऊन जबुलूनला स्पर्श केला. आणि इफताह-एलच्या खोऱ्याला भिडली. नंतर बेथ एमेक आणि नियेल यांच्या उत्तरेला गेली काबूलच्या उत्तरेला गेली.

²⁷It turned toward the sunrise to Beth Dagon, and reached to Zebulun, and to the valley of Iphtah El northward to Beth Emek and Neiel. It went out to Cabul on the left hand,

²⁸पुढे एब्रोन, रहोब, हम्मोन व काना येथपर्यंत जाऊन मोठ्या सीदोन पर्यंत गेली.

²⁸and Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, even to great Sidon.

²⁹मग दक्षिणेला रामा व तिथून सोर नामक भक्क म तटबंदीच्या नगराकडे वळली. तेथून होसकडे जाऊन तिचा शेवट अकजीब,

²⁹The border turned to Ramah, to the fortified city of Tyre; and the border turned to Hosah. It ended at the sea by the region of Achzib;

³⁰उम्मा व अफेक व रहोब यांच्या जवळ समुद्रानजीक झाला. नगरे व भोवतालचा प्रदेश मिळून ही बावीस होतात.

³⁰Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty-two cities with their villages.

³¹हा भाग आशेरच्या वंशजांना त्यांच्या कुळांबरहुकूम मिळाला.

³¹This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.

³²सहावा हिस्सा नफतालीच्या वंशजांना, त्याच्यातील कुळांना मिळाला.

³²The sixth lot came out for the children of Naphtali, even for the children of Naphtali according to their families.

³³त्यांची सीमा साननीम जवळच्या विशालवृक्षा पासून सुरु होते. हा हेलेफच्या जवळ आहे. मग ही सीमा अदामी नेकेब व यबनेल यांच्यामधून लक्क म वरुन यार्देन नदीला भिडते.

³³Their border was from Heleph, from the oak in Zaanannim, Adaminekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakkum. It ended at the Jordan.

³⁴मग पश्चिमेला अजरोथ ताबोर यांच्यातून हुक्कोकशी थांबते. दक्षिणेची हद्द जबुलूनला लागून आहे आणि पच्श्रिम हद्द आशेरला. पूर्वेला ही सीमा यार्देन नदीपासच्या यहुदापर्यंत आहे.

³⁴The border turned westward to Aznoth Tabor, and went out from there to Hukkok. It reached to Zebulun on the south, and reached to Asher on the west, and to Judah at the Jordan toward the sunrise.

³⁵या हद्दीच्या आत काही मजबूत तटबंदीची शहरे आहेत. ती म्हणजे, सिद्दीम, सेर. हम्मथ, रक्कथ, किन्नेरेथ,

³⁶Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

³⁹नफतालीला त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे ही सर्व शहरे व भोवतालची खेडी मिळाली.

⁴⁰सातवा वाटा दानच्या वंशजांचा त्यांच्यातील प्रत्येक कुळाला जमिनीत हिस्सा मिळाला.

⁴⁵यहूद, बने-बराक, गथ रिम्मोन,

⁴⁵Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimmon,

⁴⁶मीयकोन, रक्कोन आणि याफोच्चा समोरचा प्रदेश.

⁴⁶Me Jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border over against Joppa.

⁴⁷आपल्या वाटणीचा प्रदेश ताब्यात घ्यायला दानच्या वंशजांना त्रास झाला. त्यांच्या शत्रूचे सामर्थ्य अधिक होते. दानच्या लोकांना त्यांचा सहजासहजी पराभव करता आला नाही. तेव्हा दानच्या लोकांनी इस्राएलाच्या उत्तर भागाकडे जाऊन लेशेमशी त्यांनी लढाई केली. लढाईत लेशेमला हरवून त्यांचे लोक मारले. अशाप्रकारे दानचे लोक लेशेममध्ये राहू लागले. त्यांनी लेशेम हे नाव बदलून त्या शहराला आपल्या पूर्वजांचे दान हे नाव दिले,

⁴⁷The border of the children of Dan went out beyond them; for the children of Dan went up and fought against Leshem, and took it, and struck it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and lived therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

⁴⁸ही सर्व शहरे व भोवतालची खेडी दान वंशजांना मिळाली. त्यांच्यातील प्रत्येक कुटुंबाला हिस्सा मिळाला.

⁴⁹अशाप्रकारे जमिनीची विभागणी आणि सर्व वंशांच्या लोकांना करायच्या वाटण्या हे काम प्रमुखांनी पार पाडले. ते झाल्यावर नूनीचा पुत्र यहोशवाला ही काही जमीन द्यायचे इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनी ठरवले. तशी परमेश्वराची आज्ञा होती.

⁴⁹So they made an end of distributing the land for inheritance by its borders. The children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun in their midst.

⁵⁰त्याला ही जमीन मिळावी अशी परमेश्वराने आज्ञा दिली होती. तेव्हा त्यानी एफ्राईमच्या डोंगराळ प्रदेशातील तिम्राथ-सेरह हे नगर यहोशवाला दिले. यहोशवाने ते नगर मागितले होते. तेव्हा ते नगर आणखी बळकट करुन तो तेथे राहू लागला.

⁵⁰According to the commandment of Yahweh, they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in the hill country of Ephraim; and he built the city, and lived there.

⁵¹अशाप्रकारे या जमिनीच्या वाटण्या इस्राएलच्या सर्व वंशांच्या लोकांमध्ये झाल्या. एलाजार हा याजक, नूनाचा पुत्र यहोशवा आणि वडील धारी मंडळी या कामासाठी शिलो येथे जमली होती. परमेश्वरासमोर सभामंडपाच्या प्रवेशद्धारात ते एकत्र जमले. अशाप्रकारे हे वाटपाचे काम समाप्त झाले.

⁵¹These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance by lot in Shiloh before Yahweh, at the door of the Tent of Meeting. So they made an end of dividing the land.
