¹परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

²“इस्राएल लोकांना आज्ञा कर की, दीप सतत तेवत राहून प्रकाश मिळावा म्हणून जैतुनाच्या हातकुटीचे शुद्ध तेल त्यांनी तुझ्याकडे घेऊन यावे;

²“Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

³अहरोनाने दर्शनमंडपात साक्षपटासमोरील अंतरपटाबाहेर परमेश्वरासमोर संध्याकाळपासून सकाळपर्यंत दीप सतत तेवत ठेवावा; हा तुमचा पिढ्यान्पिढ्या कायमचा नियम होय.

³Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

⁴त्याने परमेश्वरासमोर शुद्ध सोन्याच्या दीपवृक्षावरील दिवे सतत तेवत ठेवावे.

⁴He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before Yahweh continually.

⁵तू मैदा घेऊन त्याच्या बारा पोव्व्या भाज; एक पोळी दोन दशमांश एफाभर मैद्याचा करावा.

⁵“You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth parts of an ephah 1 ephah is about 22 litres or about 2/3 of a bushel shall be in one cake.

⁶त्यांच्या दोन रांगा करुन एका रांगेत सहा सहा पोव्व्या शुद्ध सोन्याच्या मेजावर परमेश्वरासमोर ठेवाव्यात.

⁶You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.

⁷प्रत्येक रांगेवर धूप ठेव ह्यामुळे देवाला अग्नींतून केलेल्या अर्पणाचे ते प्रतीक असेल.

⁷You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.

⁸दर शब्बाथ दिवशी अहरोनने त्या, परमेश्वरासमोर मांडाव्या; इस्राएल लोकांच्या वतीने हा सर्वकाळचा करार होय.

⁸Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.

⁹ती भाकर अहरोन व त्याचे मुलगे ह्यांचा कायमचा वाटा होय; त्यांनी ती पवित्र ठिकाणी खावी; कारण कायमच्या नियमाप्रमाणे परमेश्वराला अर्पिलेल्या अर्पणांपैकी ती त्याला परमपवित्र होय.”

⁹It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute.”

¹⁰त्याकाळीं कोणा एक इस्राएल स्त्रीला मिसरी-पुरुषापासून झालेला एक मुलग होता; तो इस्राएली होता व इस्राएल लोकांप्रमाणे वागत होता. तो छावणीत एका इस्राएल माणसाशी भांडू लागला.

¹⁰The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

¹¹तो इस्राएल स्त्रीचा मुलगा परमेश्वराच्या नांवाची निंदा करुन शिव्याशाप देऊ लागला म्हणून लोकांनी त्याला मोशेकडे आणले. त्याच्या आईचे नांव शलोमीथ होते; ती दान वंशातील दिब्री ह्याची मुलगी होती;

¹¹The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹²त्याच्या संबंधी परमेश्वराची आज्ञा स्पष्टपणे कळावी म्हणून त्यांनी त्याला अटकेत ठेवले.

¹²They put him in custody, until the will of Yahweh should be declared to them.

¹³मग परमेश्वरदेव मोशेला म्हणाला,

¹³Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁴“तुम्ही त्या शिव्याशाप देणाऱ्या माणसाला छावणीबाहेर न्या; मग जितक्यांनी ती निंदा ऐकली तितक्यांना एकत्र बोलावा; त्यांनी आपले हात त्या माणसाच्या डोक्यावर ठेवावे; आणि मग सर्व लोकांनी त्याला दगडमार करुन मारुन टाकावे.

¹⁴“Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵तू इस्राएल लोकांना अवश्य सांग की जो कोणी आपल्या देवाला शिव्याशाप देईल त्याने आपल्या पापाची शिक्षा भोगावी.

¹⁵You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶जो कोणी परमेश्वराच्या नावाची निंदा करील त्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे; सर्व मंडळीने त्याला दगडमार करावा; तो परदेशीय असो किंवा स्वदेशीय असो, त्याने परमेश्वराच्या नावाची निंदा केली तर त्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे.

¹⁶He who blasphemes the name of Yahweh, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

¹⁷“जर एखादा माणूस दुसऱ्या माणसाला ठार मारील तर त्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे.

¹⁷“‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.

¹⁸जर कोणी दुसऱ्याच्या पशूस ठार मारील तर त्याने त्याच्या बदली दुसरा पशु देऊन भरपाई करावी.

¹⁸He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.

¹⁹“जो कोणी एखाद्याला दुखापत करील त्याला उलट त्याच प्रकारची दुखापत करावी.

¹⁹If anyone injures his neighbor; as he has done, so shall it be done to him:

²⁰हाड मोडल्याबद्दल हाड मोडणे, डोळ्याबद्दल डोळा, दाताबद्दल दात; ह्याप्रमाणे एखाद्याने कोणा माणसाला जी इजा केली असेल त्याच प्रकारची इजा त्याला केली जावी.

²⁰fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he has injured someone, so shall it be done to him.

²¹पशूला ठार मारणाऱ्याने त्याची भरपाई करावी, पण मनुष्य हत्या करणाऱ्याला अवश्य जिवे मारावे.

²¹He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.

²²“परदेशीयांना व स्वदेशीयांना एकच नियम लागू असावा; कारण मी परमेश्वर तुमचा देव आहे.”

²²You shall have one kind of law, for the foreigner as well as the native-born: for I am Yahweh your God.’”

²³मोशेने इस्राएल लोकांना ह्याप्रमाणे सांगितल्यावर त्यांनी त्या शिव्याशाप देणाऱ्या माणसाला छावणीबाहेर नेऊन दगडमार केला; अशाप्रकारे परमेश्वराने मोशेला आज्ञा दिल्याप्रमाणे इस्राएल लोकांनी केले.

²³Moses spoke to the children of Israel; and they brought out him who had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones. The children of Israel did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
