¹တဖန် မောရှေသည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား အပေါင်းတို့ကိုခေါ်၍၊ အိုဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊ ယနေ့ သင်တို့အား ငါဟောပြောသော စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို သင်တို့သည် သွန်သင်၍ ကျင့်ခြင်းငှာ သတိပြုမည် အကြောင်း နားထောင်ကြလော့။

¹Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears this day, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.

²ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဟောရပ် တောင်၌ ငါတို့နှင့် ပဋိညာဉ်ပြုတော်မူ၏။

²Yahweh our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

³ထိုပဋိညာဉ်တရားကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ ဘိုးဘေးများနှင့်သာ ပြုတော်မူသည်မဟုတ်။ ယနေ့ပင် အသက်ရှင်၍ ဤအရပ်၌ ရှိသမျှသော ငါတို့နှင့် ပြုတော်မူ၏။

³Yahweh didn’t make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day.

⁴ထာဝရဘုရားသည် တောင်ပေါ်မှာ မီးထဲက သင်တို့နှင့် မျက်နှာချင်းဆိုင်၍ မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူ၏။

⁴Yahweh spoke with you face to face on the mountain out of the midst of the fire,

⁵ထိုအခါ သင်တို့သည် မီးကိုကြောက်၍ တောင် ပေါ်သို့ မတက်ဝံ့သောကြောင့်၊ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို ဆင့်ဆိုခြင်းငှာ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့် သင်တို့ စပ်ကြားမှာ ရပ်နေ၏။

⁵(I stood between Yahweh and you at that time, to show you the word of Yahweh: for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn’t go up onto the mountain;) saying,

⁶မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူသော စကားဟူမူကား၊ ငါသည် သင့်ကို ကျွန်ခံနေရာ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ ကယ်နှုတ်ဆောင်ယူ ခဲ့ပြီးသော သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။

⁶“I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

⁷ငါမှတပါး အခြားသောဘုရားကို မကိုးကွယ်နှင့်။

⁷“You shall have no other gods before me.

⁸အထက်မိုဃ်းကောင်းကင်၌၎င်း၊ အောက်အရပ် မြေကြီးပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ မြေကြီးအောက် ရေထဲ၌၎င်း ရှိသောအရာနှင့် ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်တူစွာ ရုပ်တုဆင်းတုကို ကိုယ်အဘို့ မလုပ်နှင့်။

⁸“You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

⁹ဦးမချ၊ ဝတ်မပြုနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်၊ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည် သင်၌ အပြစ်ရှိသည်ဟု ယုံလွယ်သောဘုရား၊ ငါ့ကိုမုန်းသောသူ တို့၏ အမျိုးအစဉ်အဆက်၊ တတိယအဆက်၊ စတုတ္ထ အဆက်တိုင်အောင်၊ အဘတို့၏ အပြစ်ကို သားတို့၌ ဆပ်ပေးစီရင်သောဘုရား၊

⁹you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me;

¹⁰ငါ့ကိုချစ်၍ ငါ့ပညတ်တို့ကိုကျင့်သော သူတို့၏ အမျိုးအစဉ်အဆက် အထောင်အသောင်းတိုင်အောင် ကရုဏာကို ပြသောဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။

¹⁰and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

¹¹သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမ တော်ကို မုသာနှင့်ဆိုင်၍ မမြွက်မဆိုနှင့်။ အကြောင်းမူ ကား၊ နာမတော်ကို မုသာနှင့်ဆိုင်၍ မြွက်ဆိုသောသူကို အပြစ်မရှိဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မှတ်တော်မမူ။

¹¹“You shall not take the name of Yahweh your God in vain: for Yahweh will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

¹²သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထား တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့ကို သန့်ရှင်းစေခြင်းငှာ၊ ထိုနေ့ရက်ကို စောင့်လော့။

¹²“Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you.

¹³ခြောက်ရက်ပတ်လုံး အလုပ်မျိုးကို ကြိုးစား၍ လုပ်ဆောင်လော့။

¹³You shall labor six days, and do all your work;

¹⁴သတ္တမနေ့ရက်သည် သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဥပုသ်နေ့ဖြစ်၏။ ထိုနေ့၌ သင်မှစ၍ သင်၏သားသမီး၊ ကျွန်ယောက်ျား မိန်းမ၊ နွားမြည်း အစရှိသော သင်၏တိရစ္ဆာန်၊ သင်၏တံခါးအတွင်း၌ နေ သော ဧည့်သည်အာဂန္တုသည် အလုပ်မလုပ်ရ။ သင်သည် ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ နေသကဲ့သို့၊ သင်၏ကျွန်ယောက်ျား မိန်းမ တို့သည် ငြိမ်ဝပ်စွာ နေရကြမည်။

¹⁴but the seventh day is a Sabbath to Yahweh your God, in which you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your livestock, nor your stranger who is within your gates; that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.

¹⁵သင်သည် အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌ ကျွန်ခံကြောင်းကို၎င်း၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အားကြီးသော လက်ရုံးတော်ကိုဆန့်၍၊ ထိုပြည်မှ သင့်ကို နှုတ်ဆောင် တော်မူကြောင်းကို၎င်း အောက်မေ့လော့။ ထိုအကြောင်း ကြောင့်၊ သင်သည် ဥပုပ်နေ့ကို စောင့်ရမည်ဟု သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားမှာထားတော်မူ၏။

¹⁵You shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and Yahweh your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm: therefore Yahweh your God commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.

¹⁶သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ပေးသနား တော်မူသောပြည်၌ သင်သည် အသက်တာရှည်၍ ကောင်းစားရမည်အကြောင်း၊ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်၏ မိဘကို ရိုသေစွာပြုလော့။

¹⁶“Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you; that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you, in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.

¹⁷လူအသက်ကို မသတ်နှင့်။

¹⁷“You shall not murder.

¹⁸သူ့မယားကိုမပြစ်မှားနှင့်။

¹⁸“Neither shall you commit adultery.

¹⁹သူ့ဥစ္စာကို မခိုးနှင့်။

¹⁹“Neither shall you steal.

²⁰ကိုယ်နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်သောသူ တဘက်၌ မမှန်သော သက်သေကို မခံနှင့်။

²⁰“Neither shall you give false testimony against your neighbor.

²¹ကိုယ်နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်သော သူ၏မယားကို တပ်မက် သောစိတ် မရှိစေနှင့်။ ကိုယ်နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်သော သူ၏အိမ်၊ လယ်ယာ၊ ကျွန်ယောက်ျား မိန်းမ၊ နွားမြည်းမှစ၍ ကိုယ်နှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်သော သူ၏ဥစ္စာ တစုံတခုမျှ တပ်မက် လိုချင်သောစိတ် မရှိစေနှင့်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²¹“Neither shall you covet your neighbor’s wife; neither shall you desire your neighbor’s house, his field, or his male servant, or his female servant, his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

²²ထိုစကားတော်ကို ထာဝရဘုရားသည် တောင် ပေါ်မှာ မီး၊ မိုဃ်းတိမ်၊ ထူထပ်သော မှောင်မိုက်ထဲက ကြီးစွာသောအသံနှင့် သက်တို့စည်းဝေးရာ ပရိသတ် အပေါင်းတို့အား မိန့်မြွက်တော်မူ၏။ ထပ်၍ မိန့်မြွက် တော်မမူ။ ထိုစကားတော်ကိုလည်း ကျောက်ပြားနှစ်ပြား ပေါ်မှာရေး၍ ငါ၌အပ်တော်မူ၏။

²²These words Yahweh spoke to all your assembly on the mountain out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. He wrote them on two tables of stone, and gave them to me.

²³သင်တို့သည် မှောင်မိုက်ထဲက စကားသံကို ကြား၍၊ တောင်ထိပ်သည် မီးလောင်လျက်ရှိသောအခါ၊ သင်တို့မျိုးနွယ်တို့၌ မင်းဖြစ်သောသူ၊ အသက်ကြီးသူ တို့သည် ငါ့ထံသို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍၊

²³It happened, when you heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, while the mountain was burning with fire, that you came near to me, even all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;

²⁴အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဘုန်းတန်ခိုးအာနုဘော်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အား ပြတော် မူပြီ။ မီးထဲက စကားတော်အသံကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကြားရပါပြီ။ ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူနှင့်နှုတ်ဆက်တော် မူသော်လည်း၊ လူသည် အသက်ရှင်သေးသည်ကို၊ ယနေ့၌ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် သိမြင်ရပါပြီ။

²⁴and you said, “Behold, Yahweh our God has shown us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God does speak with man, and he lives.

²⁵အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ယခုသေရပါ မည်နည်း။ ဤကြီးစွာသောမီးဖြင့် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ဆုံးရှုံးပါလိမ့်မည်။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသော အသံတော်ကိုတဖန်ကြားရလျှင် သေရပါလိမ့်မည်။

²⁵Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of Yahweh our God any more, then we shall die.

²⁶အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသော ဘုရားသခင်သည်မီးထဲက မိန့်မြွက်တော် မူသော အသံတော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ကြားရ သကဲ့သို့ အဘယ်လူ သတ္တဝါသည် ကြား၍ အသက်ရှင် သနည်း။

²⁶For who is there of all flesh, that has heard the voice of the living God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived?

²⁷ကိုယ်တော်သည် အနီးအပါးသို့ ချဉ်းသွား၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ သမျှကို နားထောင်တော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ်တော်အား မိန့်တော်မူသမျှကို ဆင့်ဆိုတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် နားထောင်၍ ပြုပါမည်ဟု လျှောက်ဆိုကြ၏။

²⁷Go near, and hear all that Yahweh our God shall say: and tell us all that Yahweh our God shall tell you; and we will hear it, and do it.”

²⁸ထိုသို့ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့အားလျှောက်သော စကားကို ထာဝရဘုရား ကြားတော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရား ကလည်း၊ ဤလူမျိုးသည် သင့်အား လျှောက်သော စကားသံကို ငါကြားရပြီ။ လျှောက်လေသမျှသော စကား သည် လျောက်ပတ်ပေ၏။

²⁸Yahweh heard the voice of your words, when you spoke to me; and Yahweh said to me, “I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken to you: they have well said all that they have spoken.

²⁹သူတို့နှင့် သားမြေးအစဉ်အဆက်တို့သည် ချမ်းသာရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါ့ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့၍ ငါပညတ် သမျှတို့ကို အစဉ်စောင့်ရှောက်ချင်သောစိတ်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံ ကြပါစေသော။

²⁹Oh that there were such a heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children forever!

³⁰တဲများသို့ ပြန်သွားကြလော့ဟု သူတို့အား ပြောလော့။

³⁰“Go tell them, Return to your tents.

³¹သင်မှာမူကား၊ ဤအရပ်၌ ငါ့အနားမှာရပ်နေ လော့။ သူတို့အား ငါအပိုင်ပေးသော ပြည်၌ သူတို့ကျင့်ဘို့ ရာ သင်သည် သူတို့အား သွန်သင်ရသော စီရင်ထုံး ဖွဲ့ချက်၊ ပညတ်တရားအလုံးစုံတို့ကို ငါမြွက်ဆိုမည်ဟု ငါ့အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³¹But as for you, stand here by me, and I will tell you all the commandment, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which you shall teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it.”

³²သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်တို့သည် ကျင့်အံ့သော ငှာ စောင့်နေရကြမည်။ လက်ျာဘက်၊ လက်ဝဲဘက်သို့ မလွှဲမရှောင်ရကြ။

³²You shall observe to do therefore as Yahweh your God has commanded you: you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.

³³သင်တို့ ဝင်စားလတံ့သောပြည်၌ သင်တို့သည် သေဘေးလွတ်လျက် ချမ်းသာရ၍၊ အသက်တာရှည်မည် အကြောင်း၊ သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား မှာထားတော်မူသော လမ်းအပေါင်းတို့၌ ရှောက်သွား ရကြမည်။

³³You shall walk in all the way which Yahweh your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.
