¹တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် အာရုန်၊ နာဒပ်၊ အဘိဟု အစရှိသော ဣသရေလအမျိုး အသက်ကြီးသူ ခုနစ်ကျိပ်နှင့်တကွ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ တက်၍၊ သူတို့သည် ဝေးဝေးကိုးကွယ်ကြစေ။

¹He said to Moses, “Come up to Yahweh, you, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship from a distance.

²သင်တယောက်တည်းသာ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ချဉ်းကပ်ရမည်။ အခြားသောသူ မချဉ်းမကပ်ရ။ လူများတို့သည် သင်နှင့်အတူ မတက်ရကြဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²Moses alone shall come near to Yahweh, but they shall not come near, neither shall the people go up with him.”

³မောရှေသည်လည်း လူများတို့ရှိရာသို့လာ၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ စကားတော်အလုံးစုံကို၎င်း၊ စီရင်တော်မူချက်အလုံးစုံကို၎င်း ပြန်ကြား၍၊ လူများအပေါင်းကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသမျှအတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ ပြုပါမည်ဟု တသံတည်းပြန်ပြောကြ၏။

³Moses came and told the people all the words of Yahweh, and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice, and said, “All the words which Yahweh has spoken will we do.”

⁴မောရှေသည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ စကားတော်အလုံးစုံတို့ကို ရေးထားပြီးမှ၊ နံနက်စောစောထ၍၊ တောင်ခြေရင်း၌ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ကို၎င်း၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး တဆယ်နှစ်မျိုးနှင့်အမျှ ကျောက်တိုင်တဆယ်နှစ်တိုင်ကို ၎င်း တည်လေ၏။

⁴Moses wrote all the words of Yahweh, and rose up early in the morning, and built an altar under the mountain, and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel.

⁵ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား လူပျိုတို့ကို စေခိုင်းသည်အတိုင်း၊ သူတို့သည် နွားများကိုယူ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား ရှေ့မှာ မီးရှို့သောယဇ်၊ မိဿဟာယယဇ်ကို ပူဇော်ကြ၏။

⁵He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Yahweh.

⁶မောရှေသည်လည်း၊ အသွေးတဝက်ကို အင်တုံ၌ထည့်၍၊ တဝက်ကို ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ဖြန်းလေ၏။

⁶Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

⁷ပဋိညာဉ်စာကိုလည်း ယူ၍၊ ပရိသတ်များရှေ့မှာ ဘတ်ပြီးလျှင်၊ သူတို့ကလည်း၊ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော် မူသမျှအတိုင်း အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ပြုပါမည်၊ နားထောင်ပါမည်ဟု ပြောဆိုကြ၏။

⁷He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “All that Yahweh has spoken will we do, and be obedient.”

⁸မောရှေသည်လည်း၊ အသွေးကို ယူ၍ လူများအပေါ်မှာ ဖြန်းလျက်၊ ဤအသွေးကား ဤအမှုအရာ တို့တွင် သင်တို့၌ ထာဝရဘုရားဝန်ခံတော်မူသော ပဋိညာဉ်၏အသွေးဖြစ်သည်ဟု ပြောဆို၏။

⁸Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, “Look, this is the blood of the covenant, which Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.”

⁹ထိုအခါ မောရှေ၊ အာရုန်၊ နာဒပ်၊ အဘိဟု အစရှိသော ဣသရေလအမျိုး အသက်ကြီးသူ ခုနစ်ကျိပ်တို့ သည် တက်၍၊

⁹Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel went up.

¹⁰ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်ကို မြင်ကြ၏။ ခြေတော်အောက်၌ နီလာကျောက်ဖြင့်ပြီးသော ကျောက်ခင်းကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ကြည်လင်သော ကောင်းကင်မျက်နှာကဲ့သို့၎င်း ထင်လေ၏။

¹⁰They saw the God of Israel. Under his feet was like a paved work of sapphire or, lapis lazuli stone, like the skies for clearness.

¹¹ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား မှူးမတ်တို့ကို အပြစ်ပေးတော်မမူ။ သူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်ကို မြင်ရသော် လည်း၊ စားသောက်လျက်နေကြ၏။

¹¹He didn’t lay his hand on the nobles of the children of Israel. They saw God, and ate and drank.

¹²ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ငါရှိရာတောင်ပေါ်သို့ တက်၍နေလော့။ လူများတို့အား သွန်သင်ဘို့ရာ ကျောက်ပြားပေါ်မှာ ငါရေးထားသော ပညတ်တရားများကို သင်၌ ငါအပ်ပေးမည်ဟု မောရှေအား မိန့်တော်မူလျှင်၊

¹²Yahweh said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the tables of stone with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

¹³မောရှေသည် မိမိလက်ထောက်ယောရှုနှင့် အတူထ၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ တောင်တော်ပေါ်သို့ တက်သွား၏။

¹³Moses rose up with Joshua, his servant, and Moses went up onto God’s Mountain.

¹⁴အသက်ကြီးသူတို့အားလည်း၊ ငါတို့မလာမှီတိုင်အောင် ဤအရပ်၌ ငံ့နေကြလော့။ အာရုန်နှင့် ဟုရသည် သင်တို့၌ ရှိသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ မည်သည့်သူမဆို အမှုအခင်းရှိလျှင်၊ သူတို့ထံသို့ သွားစေဟု မှာထားလေ၏။

¹⁴He said to the elders, “Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”

¹⁵မောရှေသည် တောင်တော်ပေါ်သို့တက်၍၊ မိုဃ်းတိမ်သည် တောင်တော်ကို လွှမ်းမိုး၏။

¹⁵Moses went up on the mountain, and the cloud covered the mountain.

¹⁶ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဘုန်းတော်သည် သိနာတောင်ပေါ်မှာထိ၍၊ မိုဃ်းတိမ်သည် ခြောက်ရက်ပတ်လုံး လွှမ်းမိုး၏။ သတ္တမနေ့ရက်၌ မိုဃ်းတိမ်အထဲက အသံတော်ထွက်၍၊ မောရှေကို ခေါ်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁶The glory of Yahweh settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

¹⁷ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ဘုန်းတော်သည် တောင်ထိပ်ပေါ်မှာလောင်သော မီးကဲ့သို့ ထင်၍၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့သည် မြင်ရကြ၏။

¹⁷The appearance of the glory of Yahweh was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

¹⁸မောရှေသည် မိုဃ်းတိမ်အထဲသို့ ဝင်သဖြင့် တောင်ပေါ်သို့ရောက်၍ အရက်လေးဆယ်ပတ်လုံး တောင်ပေါ်မှာ နေလေ၏။

¹⁸Moses entered into the midst of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
