¹ဣသရေလအမျိုးအသက်ကြီးသူ အချို့တို့သည် လာ၍ ငါ့ရှေ့မှာ ထိုင်ကြ၏။

¹Then came certain of the elders of Israel to me, and sat before me.

²ထာဝရဘုရား၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊

²The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

³အချင်းလူသား၊ ဤလူတို့သည် ကိုယ်စိတ်နှလုံး၌ ကိုယ်ရုပ်တုများကို တည်ထောင်၍၊ ကိုယ်မျက်နှာရှေ့မှာ ကိုယ်ဒုစရိုက်သစ်တုံးကို ထားကြပြီ။ သူတို့ မေးလျှောက် ခြင်းကို ငါခံရမည်လော။

³Son of man, these men have taken their idols into their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be inquired of at all by them?

⁴ထိုကြောင့်၊အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော် ကို သူတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ အကြင်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားသည် ကိုယ်စိတ်နှလုံး၌ ကိုယ်ရုပ်တုတို့ကို တည် ထောင်၍၊ ကိုယ်မျက်နှာရှေ့မှာ ကိုယ်ဒုစရိုက်သစ်တုံးကို ထားလျက် ပရောဖက်ထံသို့ရောက်လာ၏။ ထိုသူ၌ရုပ်တု များပြားသည်နှင့်အညီ ငါပြန်ပြောမည်။

⁴Therefore speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Every man of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I Yahweh will answer him therein according to the multitude of his idols;

⁵ထိုသို့သောအားဖြင့်၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးကို သူတို့ စိတ်သဘောရှိသည်နှင့်အညီ ငါဘမ်းမည်။ ထိုသူအပေါင်း တို့သည် မိမိတို့ရုပ်တုများကြောင့် ငါနှင့်ကွာဝေးကြပြီ။

⁵that I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

⁶ထိုကြောင့်၊ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏အမိန့်တော် ကို ဣသရေလအမျိုးအား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ နောင်တရ၍ ရုပ်တုတို့ကို ကြဉ်ရှောင်ကြလော့။ သင်တို့ပြုသမျှသော စက်ဆုပ်ရွံရှာဘွယ်အမှုတို့မှ မျက်နှာလွှဲကြလော့။

⁶Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Return, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

⁷ငါနှင့်ကွာပြီးလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်နှလုံး၌ ကိုယ် ရုပ်တုများကို တည်ထောင်၍၊ ကိုယ်မျက်နှာရှေ့မှာ ကိုယ် ဒုစရိုက်သစ်တုံးကို ထားလျက်ပင်၊ ငါ့အလိုကို မေးမြန်း ခြင်းငှါ၊ ပရောဖက်ထံသို့လာသော ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား ဖြစ်စေ၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၌တည်းနေသော တပါး အမျိုး သားဖြစ်စေ၊ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကိုယ် အလိုအလျောက် ပြန်ပြောသဖြင့်၊

⁷For everyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live in Israel, who separates himself from me, and takes his idols into his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet to inquire for himself of me; I Yahweh will answer him by myself:

⁸ထိုသူတဘက်၌ငါသည် မျက်နှာထား၍ သူ့ကို နိမိတ်ဖြစ်စေမည်။ စကားပုံလည်းဖြစ်စေမည်။ ထိုသူကို ငါ၏လူတို့အထဲမှ ပယ်ရှားမည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို သင်တို့သိရကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁸and I will set my face against that man, and will make him an astonishment, for a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

⁹ပရောဖက်သည်ဟောပြော၍မှားယွင်းလျှင်၊ ထိုပရောဖက်ကို ငါထာဝရဘုရားမှားယွင်းစေ၏။ ထိုသူကိုငါသည် ဒဏ်ခတ်၍၊ ငါ၏ဣသရေလအမျိုးထဲမှ ပယ်ရှားမည်။

⁹If the prophet is deceived and speak a word, I, Yahweh, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand on him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

¹⁰သူတို့သည်လည်း အပြစ်နှင့်အလျောက် ဒဏ်ခံ ရကြမည်။ ပရောဖက်ခံရသောဒဏ်သည် ပရောဖက် ကို ဆည်းကပ်သောသူခံရသော ဒဏ်နှင့်တူရလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁰They shall bear their iniquity: the iniquity of the prophet shall be even as the iniquity of him who seeks him;

¹¹ထိုသို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ နောက်တဖန် ဣသရေလအမျိုး သည် ငါ့ကို မစွန့်ပစ်၊ လမ်းမလွှဲ၊ မှားယွင်းခြင်း အပြစ် ရှိသမျှတို့နှင့် နောက်တဖန်မညစ်ညှုးဘဲ၊ ငါ၏လူဖြစ်ရကြ လိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည်လည်း သူတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹¹that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹²တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရား၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်လာ၍၊

¹²The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

¹³အချင်းလူသား၊ ပြည်သားတို့သည် အထပ်ထပ် လွန်ကျူး၍ ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှားသောကြောင့်၊ ငါသည်လက်ကို ဆန့်၍မုန့်အထောက်အပင့်ကို ချိုးသဖြင့်၊ အစာအာဟာရ ကို ခေါင်းပါးစေ၍၊ ထိုပြည်မှ လူနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ပယ်ဖြတ်လျှင်၊

¹³Son of man, when a land sins against me by committing a trespass, and I stretch out my hand on it, and break the staff of its bread, and send famine on it, and cut off from it man and animal;

¹⁴နောဧ၊ ဒံယေလ၊ ယောဘ၊ ဤသုံးယောက်ရှိသော် လည်း၊ ကိုယ်ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်အသက် ဝိညာဉ်ကိုသာ ကယ်နှုတ်ရသော အခွင့်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁴though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord Yahweh.

¹⁵သားရဲတို့သည် ပြည်၌ပေါ်လာ၍ ဖျက်ဆီးသော ကြောင့်၊ အဘယ်သူမျှမနေနိုင်သဖြင့် လူဆိတ်ညံလျှင်၊

¹⁵If I cause evil animals to pass through the land, and they ravage it, and it be made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the animals;

¹⁶ထိုသူသုံးယောက်ရှိသော်လည်း၊ ငါ၏အသက်ရှင် သည်အတိုင်း ကိုယ်သားသမီးကို မကယ်နှုတ်ရ။ ကိုယ်တိုင် သာချမ်းသာရကြ၍၊ ပြည်သည် လူဆိတ်ညံလျက် ရှိရ လိမ့်မည်။

¹⁶though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only should be delivered, but the land should be desolate.

¹⁷သို့မဟုတ်၊ အိုထား၊ ထိုပြည်ကိုလုပ်ကြံလော့ဟု ငါဆိုလျက်၊ ထားဘေးကို ရောက်စေသောကြောင့်၊ လူနှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ပယ်ဖြတ်လျှင်၊

¹⁷Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off from it man and animal;

¹⁸ထိုသူသုံးယောက်ရှိသော်လည်း၊ ငါအသက်ရှင် သည်အတိုင်း ကိုယ်သားသမီးကိုမကယ်မနှုတ်ရ၊ ကိုယ်တိုင်သာချမ်းသာရကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁸though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only should be delivered themselves.

¹⁹သို့မဟုတ်၊ ထိုပြည်၌ ကာလနာကို ငါစေလွှတ် သောကြောင့်၊ လူနှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန်၏အသက်ကို သတ်ဖြတ် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းငှါ ငါ၏ဒေါသအရှိန်ကို သွန်းလောင်းလျှင်၊

¹⁹Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my wrath on it in blood, to cut off from it man and animal;

²⁰နောဧ၊ ဒံယေလ၊ ယောဘတို့ရှိသော်လည်း၊ ငါ အသက်ရှင်သည် အတိုင်းကိုယ်သားသမီးကို မကယ်မနှုတ်၊ ကိုယ်ဖြောင့်မတ်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်အသက်ဝိညာဉ်ကို သာ ကယ်နှုတ်ရကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²⁰though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, says the Lord Yahweh, they should deliver neither son nor daughter; they should but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

²¹ထိုကြောင့်၊ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော် မူသားကား၊ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ လူနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့ကို ပယ်ဖြတ်ခြင်းငှါ ထားဘေး၊မွတ်သိပ်ခြင်းဘေး၊ ဖျက်ဆီး တတ်သောသားရဲဘေး၊ ကာလနာဘေးတည်းဟူသော၊ အလွန်ဆိုးသော ဘေးလေးပါးတို့ကို ငါစေလွှတ်သော အခါ။ ထိုမျှမက လွှတ်ခဲလိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်လော။

²¹For thus says the Lord Yahweh: How much more when I send my four severe judgments on Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the evil animals, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and animal!

²²သို့ရာတွင်၊ လွတ်၍ ထွက်မြောက်ရသော အကျန်အကြွင်းသား သမီးအချို့ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့ သည် သင်တို့ရှိရာသို့ထွက်လာ၍၊ ကျင့်ကြံပြုမူသော အမူအရာတို့ကို သင်တို့သိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ငါရောက်စေသမျှသောအမှုများကြောင့် စိတ်ပူပန်ခြင်း မရှိ၊ သက်သာခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

²²Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be carried forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth to you, and you shall see their way and their doings; and you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought on it.

²³သူတို့ ကျင့်ကြံပြုမူသော အမှုအရာတို့ကို သင်တို့ သည် မြင်သောအခါ သက်သာရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့ကကို ငါပြုလေသမျှတို့၌၊ အကြောင်းမရှိဘဲ မပြုသည်ကိုသိကြလိမ့်မည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²³They shall comfort you, when you see their way and their doings; and you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, says the Lord Yahweh.
