¹လာကြ။ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ ပြန်ကြ ကုန်အံ့။ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ကိုက်ဖြတ်သော်လည်း ပကတိ ဖြစ်စေတော်မူမည်။ ဒဏ်ခတ်သော်လည်း အနာကို စည်းတော်မူမည်။

¹“Come, and let us return to Yahweh; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.

²နှစ်ရက်လွန်ပြီးမှ ငါတို့ကို အသက်ရှင်စေ၍၊ သုံးရက်မြောက်သောနေ့၌ ထမြောက်စေတော်မူသဖြင့်၊ အထံတော်၌ ငါတို့သည် အသက်ရှင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.

³ပညာကိုလည်း ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို သိခြင်းငှါ လိုက်ရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို သိခြင်း ငှါ လိုက်ရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထွက်တော်မူချိန်သည် နံနက် ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ ရွာသောမိုဃ်းနှင့် မြေအပေါ်သို့ ရွာသော နောက်မိုဃ်းကဲ့သို့ သက်ရောက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။

³Let us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

⁴အိုဧဖရိမ်၊ သင်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြုရမည်နည်း။ အိုယုဒ၊ သင်၌ အဘယ်သို့ ငါပြုရမည်နည်း။ သင်တို့ ကြည်ညိုသော စိတ်သည် နံနက်မိုဃ်းတိမ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ စောစောပျောက်တတ်သော နှင်းကဲ့သို့၎င်းဖြစ်၏။

⁴“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.

⁵Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.

⁶ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်း အကျင့်ထက် သနားခြင်း ကရုဏာအကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းထက် ဘုရားသခင်နှင့် ကျွမ်းဝင်ခြင်းကို၎င်း ငါနှစ်သက်၏။

⁶For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

⁹As gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder in the way toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.

¹⁰အကယ်စင်စစ် အဓမ္မအမှုကို ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်သောအမှုကို ဣသ ရေလအမျိုး၌ ငါမြင်ပြီ။ ထိုအမျိုး၌ ဧဖရိမ်သည် မှားယွင်း တတ်၏။ ဣသရေလသည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ၏။

¹⁰In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.

¹¹ထိုမှ တပါး အိုယုဒအမျိုး၊ သိမ်းသွားသော ငါ၏လူတို့ကို ငါဆောင်ခဲ့ပြန်သောအခါ၊ စပါး ရိတ်ရာကာလသည် သင့်အဖို့ ခန့်ထားလျက်ရှိ၏။
