¹ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင် ဩဇိမင်း၊ ယောသံမင်း၊ အာခတ် မင်း၊ ဟေဇကိမင်းတို့ လက်ထက်၌၊ အာမုတ်၏သား ဟေရှာယသည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှစ၍၊ ယုဒပြည်နှင့်ဆိုင် သော ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကို ခံရသည်မှာ၊

¹The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

²ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ အို ကောင်းကင်၊ ကြားလော့။ အိုမြေကြီး၊ နားထောင် လော့။ မိန့်တော်မူချက်ဟူမူကား၊ ငါကျွေးမွေးပြုစုသော သားသမီးတို့သည် ငါ့ကို ပုန်ကန်ကြပြီ။

²Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for Yahweh “Yahweh” is God’s proper Name, sometimes rendered “LORD” (all caps) in other translations. has spoken: “I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

⁴ဆိုးယုတ်သောအမျိုး၊ ဒုစရိုက်ဝန်ကို ထမ်းရွက် သော လူစု၊ မတရားသဖြင့်ပြုသောအနွှယ်၊ ဖောက်ပြန် သော သားသမီးပါတကား။ ထာဝရဘုရားကို စွန့်ကြပြီ။ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ သန့်ရှင်းသောဘုရားကို မရိုမသေ ပြု၍ ပယ်ကြပြီ။ ကျောခိုင်း၍ ခွားသွားကြပြီ။

⁴Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken Yahweh. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.

⁵သူတို့ကိုအဘယ်သို့ ဒဏ်ပေးရဦးမည်နည်း။ အဘယ်သို့ ထပ်၍ ဆုံးမရဦးမည်နည်း။ ဦးခေါင်းသည် အနာသက်သက်ရှိ၏။ နှလုံးသည်လည်း ခွန်အားအလျှင်း မရှိ။

⁵Why should you be beaten more, that you revolt more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

⁶ခြေဘဝါးမှသည် ဦးခေါင်းတိုင်အောင် ကျန်းမာ ခြင်းမရှိ။ စုတ်ရှသောအနာ၊ ထိခိုက်၍ရောင်သောအနာ၊ ရိယွဲသော အနာသက်သက်ရှိ၏။ ထိုအနာများကို မနှိပ် မနယ်ရ။ အဝတ်နှင့်မစည်းရ။ ဘယောင်းဆီးနှင့် မပြော့ စေရသေး။

⁶From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it: wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, neither bandaged, neither soothed with oil.

⁷Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

⁸The daughter of Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.

⁹ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ ၌အနည်းငယ်မျှ ကြွင်းစေတော်မမူလျှင်၊ ငါတို့သည် သောဒုံမြို့ကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍ ဂေါမောရမြို့နှင့် တူကြပြီ။

⁹Unless Yahweh of Armies had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom; we would have been like Gomorrah.

¹⁰သောဒုံမြို့ကို အစိုးရသောမင်းတို့၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို ကြားကြလော့။ ဂေါမောရမြို့သားတို့၊ ငါတို့ဘုရားသခင်၏ တရား တော်ကို နားထောင်ကြလော့။

¹⁰Hear the word of Yahweh, you rulers of Sodom! Listen to the law of our God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , you people of Gomorrah!

¹¹ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့ ပူဇော်သော ယဇ်များကို ငါသည်အဘယ်သို့ဆိုင်သနည်း။ မီးရှို့၍ ပူဇော်သောသိုးကောင်၊ ဆူဖြိုးအောင်ကျွေးသော တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့၏ ဆီဥနှင့် ငါဝပြီ။ နွားနှင့်သိုးသငယ်၊ ဆိတ် တို့၏အသွေးကို ငါမနှစ်သက်။

¹¹“What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?,” says Yahweh. “I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.

¹²When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?

¹³အချည်းနှီးသော ပူဇော်သက္ကကို နောက်တဖန် မဆောင်ခဲ့ကြနှင့်၊ သင်တို့မီးရှို့သောနံ့သာပေါင်းကို ငါရွံရှာ၏။ လေဆန်နေ့၊ ဥပုသ်နေ့၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေး သော နေ့ကိုလည်း ရွံရှာ၏။ အဓမ္မအမှုနှင့်ရောနှော သော ဓမ္မစည်းဝေးခြင်းတို့ကို သည်းမခံနိုင်။

¹³Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me; new moons, Sabbaths, and convocations: I can’t bear with evil assemblies.

¹⁴My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to me. I am weary of bearing them.

¹⁵When you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

¹⁶ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်ဆေးကြောကြလော့။ ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်စင်ကြယ်စေကြလော့။ သင်တို့ ဒုစရိုက်များကို ငါ့မျက်မှောက်မှ ပယ်ရှားကြလော့။ မကောင်းသော အကျင့်ကို ဖြတ်ကြလော့။

¹⁶Wash yourselves, make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

¹⁷ကောင်းသောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်အံ့သောငှါ သင်ကြလော့။ တရားသဖြင့် ပြုခြင်းငှါ ကြံကြလော့။ ကောင်းသောအရာကို ဖြောင့်စေကြလော့။ မိဘမရှိသော သူတို့အဘို့ တရားသဖြင့် စီရင်ကြလော့။ မှုဆိုးမတို့၏အမှု ကို စောင့်ကြလော့။

¹⁷Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

¹⁸ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ လာကြ။ တရားစီရင်ကြကုန်အံ့။ သင်တို့အပြစ်သည် နီသော အဆင်းရှိသော်လည်း၊ မိုဃ်းပွင့်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြူလိမ်မည်။ ကတ္တီ ပါနီနှင့်တမျှ နီသော်လည်း၊ သိုးမွေးကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။

¹⁸“Come now, and let us reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

¹⁹သင်တို့သည် ကြည်ညိုနားထောင်လျှင်၊ မြေအသီး အနှံကို စားရကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁹If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;

²⁰သို့မဟုတ်လျှင်၊ ငြင်းဆန်ပုန်ကန်လျှင် ထား လက်နက်ဖြင့် ဆုံးရလိမ့်မည်ဟု၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ် တော်ထွက်အမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏။

²⁰but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it.”

²¹သစ္စာရှိသောမြို့သည် အဘယ်သို့မျောက် မထားပြန်သနည်း။ အထက်က ဖြောင့်မတ်စွာ စီရင်ခြင်း နှင့်ပြည့်၏။ တရားသည် သူ၏အထဲမှာ နေရာကျ၏။ ယခုမူကား၊ လူအသက်ကို သတ်သောသူတို့သည် နေရာ ကျကြ၏။

²¹How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice; righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.

²²Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.

²³Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards. They don’t judge the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

²⁴ထိုကြောင့်၊ ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ တန်ခိုးကြီး သောဘုရား၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေသခင် အရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အဲ၊ ငါ့တဘက်၌ နေသော သူတို့ကို ပယ်ရှားပြီးမှ ငါချင်ရဲပြေမည်။ ကိုယ်အဘို့ကို စောင့်၍ ငါ့ရန်သူတို့ကို အပြစ်နှင့် အလျောက်စီရင်မည်။

²⁴Therefore the Lord, The word translated “Lord” is “Adonai.” Yahweh of Armies, the Mighty One of Israel, says: “Ah, I will get relief from my adversaries, and avenge myself of my enemies;

²⁵သင့်ကိုလည်း ငါကိုင်ယူပြီးလျှင်၊ ချော်နှင့်ရှင်း ရှင်း ကင်းစင်စေ၍ သင်၏ကြေးဖြူရှိသမျှကိုလည်း ပယ်ရှားမည်။

²⁵and I will turn my hand on you, thoroughly purge away your dross, and will take away all your tin.

²⁶သင်၏ တရားသူကြီးတို့နှင့် တိုင်ပင်မှူးမတ် တို့ကို ရှေ့ဦးစွာခန့်ထားသည် နည်းတူ၊ တဖန်ငါခန့်ထား ဦးမည်။ ထိုနောက်မှ၊ သင်၏နာမကို တရားသောမြို့၊ သစ္စာစောင့်သောမြို့ဟု သမုတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁶I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called ‘The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’

²⁷ဇိအုန်မြို့သည် တရားအားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ မြို့သူမြို့ သားတို့သည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သောအာဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ရွေးနှုတ်ခြင်း ကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁷Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and her converts with righteousness.

²⁸လွန်ကျူးသောသူနှင့် ပြစ်မှားသောသူတို့သည် ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ အတူရောက်၍၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကို စွန့်သော သူတို့သည် ဆုံးရှုံးကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁸But the destruction of transgressors and sinners shall be together, and those who forsake Yahweh shall be consumed.

²⁹သင်တို့သည် တပ်မက်ဘူးသော သပိတ်ပင်တို့ ကြောင့် ရှက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့သည် ရွေးယူဘူးသော ဥယျာဉ်တို့ကြောင့် မျက်နှာပျက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

²⁹For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which you have desired, and you shall be confounded for the gardens that you have chosen.

³⁰အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အရွက်နွမ်းသော သပိတ်ပင် ကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ရေမရှိသောဥယျာဉ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။

³⁰For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.

³¹ခွန်အားကြီးသောသူသည် ပိုက်ဆန်လျှော်ဖြစ် လျက်၊ သူ၏အမှုသည် မီးပွားဖြစ်လျက်၊ ထိုနှစ်ပါးသည် အတူလောင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုမီးကိုအဘယ်သူမျှ မသတ်ရ။

³¹The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”
