¹တဖန်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည်ငါ့ဆီသို့ရောက်၍၊ သင်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ သွားပြီး လျှင်၊

¹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

²အော်ဟစ်ရမည်အရာဟူမူကား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ လယ်မလုပ်သော တောအရပ်၌ သင်သည် ငါ့နောက် သို့လိုက်သောအခါ၊ အသက်အရွယ်နုငယ်၍ခံရသောကျေးဇူးကို၎င်း၊ ထိမ်းမြားပေးစားခြင်းနှင့်ယှဉ်သော ချစ်ခြင်းမေတ္တာကို၎င်း ငါအောက်မေ့၏။

²“Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown.

³ထိုအခါ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် ထာဝရဘုရားအဘို့ သန့်ရှင်း၏။ စီးပွားတော်အဘို့ အဦးသီးသော အသီးဖြစ်၏။ သူတို့ကို လုယူသောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အပြစ်ရှိကြ၏။ ထိုသူတို့အပေါ်မှာ ဘေးဥပဒ်ရောက်ရ သည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

³Israel was holiness to Yahweh, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him shall be held guilty. Evil shall come on them,”’ says Yahweh.”

⁴အိုယာကုပ်အမျိုးနှင့် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးအနွယ် အပေါင်းတို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကို နား ထောင်ကြလော့။

⁴Hear the word of Yahweh, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel!

⁵ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့၏ဘိုးဘေးတို့သည် ငါ့ထံမှဝေးစွာထွက်သွား၍၊ အနတ္တလမ်း သို့လိုက်လျက်၊ အနတ္တသက်သက်ဖြစ်ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ငါ၌ အဘယ်မည်သောအပြစ်ကို တွေ့ကြသနည်း။

⁵Thus says Yahweh, “What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

⁶သူတို့က၊ ငါတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ ကယ်နှုတ်၍၊ တောတရှောက်လုံး၊ လွင်ပြင်၊ မြေတွင်းနှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော ပြည်၊ သွေ့ခြောက်၍ သေမင်းအရိပ် လွှမ်းမိုးသောပြည်၊ ခရီးသွားသောသူ၊ နေရာကျသောသူမရှိသော ပြည်တ ရှောက်လုံးသို့ပို့ဆောင်သော ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ် မှာ ရှိတော်မူသနည်းဟု မမေးကြ။

⁶Neither did they say, ‘Where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that none passed through, and where no man lived?’

⁷ဝပြောသော ပြည်၏အသီးအနှံဆီဥဆီကြည်ကို စားစေခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့ကို ငါဆောင်သွင်း၍၊ သင်တို့သည် ဝင်စားသောအခါ၊ ငါ့ပြည်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေ၍၊ ငါ၏အမွေ ကို ရွံရှာဘွယ်ဖြစ်စေကြသည်တကား။

⁷I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination.

⁸ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်တို့က၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိတော်မူသနည်းဟု မမေးကြ။ ကျမ်းတတ်တို့ သည် ငါ့ကိုမသိကြ။ သင်းအုပ်တို့သည် ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှား ကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်တို့သည် ဗာလကို အမှီပြု၍ ဟောပြော လျက်၊ ကျေးဇူးမဲ့သောလမ်းသို့ လိုက်ကြ၏။

⁸The priests didn’t say, ‘Where is Yahweh?’ and those who handle the law didn’t know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

⁹ထိုကြောင့်၊ သင်တို့နှင့် သင်တို့သားသမီးများကို ငါစစ်ကြောမည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁹“Therefore I will yet contend with you,” says Yahweh, “and I will contend with your children’s children.

¹⁰ခိတ္တိမ်ကျွန်းတို့သို့ကူး၍ ကြည့်ရှုကြလော့။ ကေဒါပြည်သို့ လူကို စေလွှတ်၍၊ ထိုသို့ဖြစ်ဘူးပြီလောဟု စေ့စေ့ကြည့်ရှုဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။

¹⁰For pass over to the islands of Kittim, and see; and send to Kedar, and consider diligently; and see if there has been such a thing.

¹¹အခြားတပါးသော လူမျိုးကိုးကွယ်သော ဘုရား သည် ဘုရားမဟုတ်သော်လည်း၊ ပြောင်းလဲဘူးပြီလော။ ငါ၏လူမျိုးသည် ကျေးဇူးမပြုနိုင်သောအရာဘို့ မိမိတို့ ဘုန်းကို ပြောင်းလဲကြပြီတကား။

¹¹Has a nation changed its gods, which really are no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.

¹²ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ အို မိုဃ်း ကောင်းကင်တို့၊ ထိုအမှုကို မိန်းမောတွေဝေ၍၊ ကြက်သီး မွေးညှင်းထသည်တိုင်အောင် ထိတ်လန့်လျက် နေကြ လော့။

¹²“Be astonished, you heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid. Be very desolate,” says Yahweh.

¹³ငါ၏ လူတို့သည် အသက်စမ်းရေတွင်းတည်း ဟူသော၊ ငါ့ကိုစွန့်ပစ်၍၊ ရေမလုံ၊ ပဲ့ပျက်သောရေကျင်း တို့ကို တူးသောအားဖြင့် ဒုစရိုက်နှစ်ပါးကို ပြုကြပြီ။

¹³“For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.

¹⁴ဣသရေလသည် ကျွန်ဖြစ်သလော။ ကျွန်သား ပေါက် ဖြစ်သလော။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လုယူခြင်းကို ခံရသနည်း။

¹⁴Is Israel a servant? Is he a native-born slave? Why has he become a prey?

¹⁵ခြင်္သေ့တို့သည် သူ့ကိုဟောက်၍ အသံမြည်ကြ ပြီ။ သူ၏ပြည်ကို ဖျက်ဆီးကြပြီ။ သူ၏မြို့တို့သည် မီးလောင်သောကြောင့်၊ အဘယ်သူမျှ မနေရ။

¹⁵The young lions have roared at him, and yelled. They have made his land waste. His cities are burned up, without inhabitant.

¹⁶နောဖမြို့သားနှင့် တာပနက်မြို့သားတို့သည် သင်၏ဦးထိပ်ကို စားကြပြီ။

¹⁶The children also of Memphis and Tahpanhes have broken the crown of your head.

¹⁷သင့်ကိုပို့ဆောင်တော်မူသော သင်၏ဘုရား သခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို သင်သည်စွန့်သောကြောင့်၊ ထိုသို့သော အပြစ်ရောက်သည် မဟုတ်လော။

¹⁷“Haven’t you procured this to yourself, in that you have forsaken Yahweh your God The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “Elohim.” , when he led you by the way?

¹⁸ယခုမှာ သင်သည် ရှိဟောရမြစ်ရေကို သောက် အံ့သောငှါ၊ အဲဂုတ္တုလမ်းသို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လိုက် သနည်း။ ဥဖရတ်မြစ်ရေကို သောက်အံ့သောငှါ၊ အာရှုရိ လမ်းသို့ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လိုက်သနည်း။

¹⁸Now what have you to do in the way to Egypt, to drink the waters of the Shihor? Or what have you to do in the way to Assyria, to drink the waters of the River?

¹⁹သင်၏ ဒုစရိုက်သည် သင့်ကိုဆုံးမမည်။ သင်၏ ဖောက်ပြန်ခြင်းသည် သင့်ကို အပြစ်ပေးမည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင်၏ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကို စွန့်ပစ်သောအမှု၊ ငါ့ကိုမကြောက်ဘဲ နေသောအမှုသည်၊ မကောင်းသော အမှု၊ ခါးသောအမှုဖြစ်သည်ကို သိမြင်ရမည်ဟု ကောင်း ကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

¹⁹“Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backsliding shall reprove you. Know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and a bitter, that you have forsaken Yahweh your God, and that my fear is not in you,” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

²⁰ရှေးကာလ၌ သင်ထမ်းရသော ထမ်းဘိုး၊ သင်၌ ချည်သော နှောင်ဖွဲ့ခြင်းကို ငါချိုးချွတ်၍ သင်က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မမှားယွင်းဘဲ နေပါမည်ဟု ဂတိထား သော်လည်း၊ မြင့်သောတောင်ရှိသမျှ အပေါ်၌၎င်း၊ စိမ်းသောသစ်ပင်ရှိသမျှအောက်၌၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်ကိုချ၍ ပြည်တန်ဆာလုပ်လေ၏။

²⁰“For of old time I have broken your yoke, and burst your bonds; and you said, ‘I will not serve;’ for on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed yourself, playing the prostitute.

²¹အကောင်းဆုံးသော စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်အမျိုးစစ် ဖြစ်သော သင့်ကို ငါစိုက်ပျိုးသော်လည်း၊ သင်သည် ငါ့ရှေ့ မှာ အဘယ်မျှလောက် ဖောက်ပြန်၍၊ အမျိုးမစစ်သော စပျစ်နွယ်ပင်ဖြစ်ပါသည်တကား။

²¹Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed. How then have you turned into the degenerate branches of a foreign vine to me?

²²သင်သည် ပေါက်ဆပ်ပြာနှင့် ရေချိုး၍၊ ချက် သော ဆပ်ပြာအများကို သုံးသော်လည်း၊ သင်၏အပြစ် သည် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာထင်ရှားသည်ဟု အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

²²For though you wash yourself with lye, and use much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me,” says the Lord Yahweh.

²³သင်ကလည်း၊ ငါသည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဗာလ ဘုရားတို့ နောက်သို့မလိုက်ဟု အဘယ်သို့ ဆိုနိုင်သနည်း။ ချိုင့်၌ သင်လိုက်သော လမ်းကိုကြည့်ရှုလော့။ သင်ပြု သော အမှုတို့ကို ဝန်ခံလော့။ လျင်မြန်စွာ ပြေး၍ လှည့် လည်တတ်သော ကုလားအုပ်မပါတကား။

²³“How can you say, ‘I am not defiled. I have not gone after the Baals’? See your way in the valley. Know what you have done. You are a swift dromedary traversing her ways;

²⁴တော၌ လှည့်လည်၍ ကိလေသာရာဂစိတ်နှင့် လေကိုရှူတတ်သော မြည်းရိုင်းမပါတကား။ အချိန်ရောက် သောအခါ အဘယ်သူ ဆီးတားနိုင်သနည်း။ သူ့ကိုရှာအံ့ သောငှါ အဘယ်သူမျှ ပင်ပန်းခြင်းကို မခံရ။ အချိန်စေ့ သောအခါ သူ့ကိုတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။

²⁴a wild donkey used to the wilderness, that snuffs up the wind in her desire. When she is in heat, who can turn her away? All those who seek her will not weary themselves. In her month, they will find her.

²⁵သင်၏ခြေနင်းကို မပျက်စေနှင့်။ ရေငတ်ခြင်း အကြောင်းကို မပြုနှင့်ဟုဆိုသော်လည်း၊ သင်ကမြော်လင့် စရာမရှိ၊ အလျှင်းမရှိ။ သူတပါးတို့ကို ငါချစ်၍၊ သူတို့ နောက်သို့ လိုက်မည်ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။

²⁵“Withhold your foot from being unshod, and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is in vain. No, for I have loved strangers, and I will go after them.’

²⁶ဘမ်းမိသောသူခိုးသည် ရှက်သကဲ့သို့၊ ဣသ ရေလအမျိုး၏ ရှင်ဘုရင်၊ မင်းသား၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်၊ ပရောဖက်နှင့်တကွ အမျိုးသားများတို့သည် ရှက်ကြ၏။

²⁶As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets;

²⁷သစ်တုံးအား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် အကျွန်ုပ်အဘ ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ ကျောက်အားလည်း၊ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အကျွန်ုပ် ကို ဘွားမြင်တော်မူပြီဟူ၍၎င်း ဆိုလျက်၊ စင်စစ်ငါ့ကို မျက်နှာမပြု၊ ကျောခိုင်းကြသော်လည်း၊ အမှု ရောက်လျှင်မူကား၊ ထတော်မူပါ၊ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို ကယ်မ တော်မူပါဟု လျှောက်တတ်ကြ၏။

²⁷who tell wood, ‘You are my father;’ and a stone, ‘You have brought me out:’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us.’

²⁸ကိုယ်အဘို့ သင်လုပ်သော ဘုရားတို့သည် အဘယ်မှာရှိကြသနည်း။ အမှုရောက်သောအခါ သူတို့ သည် တတ်နိုင်လျှင်ထ၍ ကယ်ကြပါလေစေ။ အိုယုဒ ပြည်၊ သင်သည် မြို့များ အရေအတွက်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ သင်၏ဘုရားများရှိပါသည်တကား။

²⁸“But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble: for according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah.

²⁹ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်တို့ သည် အဘယ်အကျိုးအလိုငှါ ငါနှင့်တရားတွေ့ကြမည် နည်း။ သင်တို့ရှိသမျှသည် ငါ့ကို ပြစ်မှားကြပြီ။

²⁹“Why will you contend with me? You all have transgressed against me,” says Yahweh.

³⁰ငါသည်သင်တို့ သားများကို အချည်းနှီးဒဏ်ပေး ပြီ။ သူတို့သည် ဆုံးမခြင်းကို မခံကြ။ သင်တို့၏ ထား သည် လုယူဖျက်ဆီးတတ်သော ခြင်္သေ့ကဲ့သို့၊ သင်တို့၏ ပရောဖက်များကို ဖျက်ဆီးလေပြီ။

³⁰“I have struck your children in vain. They received no correction. Your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

³¹ယခုဖြစ်သော အမျိုးသားတို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို ဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။ ငါသည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ တောကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ မှောင်မိုက်နိုင်ငံကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ဘူး သလော။ ငါ၏လူတို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ်သို့ လည် မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ နောက်တဖန်မချဉ်းကပ်ဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုကြသနည်း။

³¹Generation, consider the word of Yahweh. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? Or a land of thick darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We have broken loose. We will come to you no more?’

³²အပျိုမသည် မိမိ၌ဆင်သောတန်ဆာကို၎င်း၊ မင်္ဂလာဆောင် သတို့သမီးသည် မိမိခါးပန်းကို၎င်း မေ့လျော့နိုင်သလော။ သို့သော်လည်း၊ ငါ၏လူတို့သည် မရေတွက်နိုင်အောင် များစွာသောကာလပတ်လုံး ငါ့ကို မေ့လျော့ကြပြီ။

³²“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet my people have forgotten me for days without number.

³³သင်သည် ရည်းစားကို ရှာခြင်းငှါ သင်တို့ ဘာသာဓလေ့တို့ကို အဘယ်ကြောင့်ပြုပြင်သနည်း။ သင်၏အသိအကျွမ်းတို့ကို သွေးဆောင်လေပြီတကား။

³³How well you prepare your way to seek love! Therefore you have taught even the wicked women your ways.

³⁴ထိုမှတပါး၊ အနိုင်အထက်ပြုသည်ကို သင် မတွေ့။ အပြစ်မရှိသော ဆင်းရဲသားတို့ကို အသေသတ်၍၊ သွန်းသော အသွေးသည် သင်၏အဝတ်စွန်း၌ ထင်ရှား ၏။

³⁴Also the blood of the souls of the innocent poor is found in your skirts. You did not find them breaking in; but it is because of all these things.

³⁵ထိုသို့သော အပြစ်များရှိသော်လည်း သင်က၊ ငါ၌အပြစ်မရှိသောကြောင့်၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက် တော်သည် ငါမှလွှဲသွားလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဆိုပါသည်တကား။ ငါ၌အပြစ်မရှိဟုဆိုသောကြောင့်၊ သင့်ကို ငါစစ်ကြော စီရင်မည်။

³⁵“Yet you said, ‘I am innocent. Surely his anger has turned away from me.’ “Behold, I will judge you, because you say, ‘I have not sinned.’

³⁶သင်သည် အရပ်ရပ်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲခြင်းငှါ၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤမျှလောက်လှည့်လည်သနည်း။ အာရှုရိပြည်ကို ရှက်ကြောက်သည်နည်းတူ၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည် ကို ရှက်ကြောက်လိမ့်မည်။

³⁶Why do you go about so much to change your way? You will be ashamed of Egypt also, as you were ashamed of Assyria.

³⁷သင်သည် မိမိလက်ကို မိမိခေါင်းပေါ်မှာ တင်လျက်၊ ထိုပြည်မှ အမှန်ထွက်သွားရလိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်ခိုလှုံသောအရာတို့ကို ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် ပယ်တော်မူသောကြောင့်၊ ခိုလှုံ၍ အကျိုးကို မရနိုင်ရာ။

³⁷From there also you shall go forth, with your hands on your head; for Yahweh has rejected those in whom you trust, and you shall not prosper with them.
