1ထာဝရဘုရား ပြတော်မူသော ရူပါရုံဟူမူကား၊ ဗာဗုလုန်ရှင်ဘုရင် နေဗုခဒ်နေဇာသည် ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင် ယောယကိမ်သားယေခါနိမင်းအစရှိသော ယုဒမှူးမတ် များ၊ လက်သမား၊ ပန်းပဲသမားများတို့ကို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ မှ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့သို့ သိမ်းသွားသောနောက်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏ ဗိမာန်တော်ရှေ့၌ထားသော သင်္ဘော သဖန်းသီး တောင်းနှစ်လုံးသည် ထင်ရှားလေ၏။
1Yahweh showed me, and behold, two baskets of figs set before Yahweh’s temple, after that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
2တောင်းတလုံး၌ကား၊ အဦးမှည့်သော သင်္ဘော သဖန်းသီးကဲ့သို့ အလွန်ကောင်းသော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီး နှင့် ပြည့်လျက်ရှိ၏။ တလုံး၌ကား၊ မစားနိုင်အောင် အလွန်ညံ့သော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီးနှင့် ပြည့်လျက်ရှိ၏။
2One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first-ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
3ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ ယေရမိ၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်အရာကို မြင်သနည်းဟုမေးတော်မူလျှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် သင်္ဘောဖန်းသီးကို မြင်ပါ၏။ ကောင်း သော သင်္ဘောဖန်းသီးသည် အလွန်ကောင်းပါ၏။ ညံ့သော သင်္ဘေသဖန်းသီးသည် မစားနိုင်အောင် အလွန်ညံ့ပါသည်ဟု ပြန်လျှောက်၏။
3Then Yahweh said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that can’t be eaten, they are so bad.
4တဖန် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်သည် ငါ့ဆီသို့ ရောက်လာ၍၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊
4The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
5ဤအရပ်မှ ခါလဒဲပြည်သို့ ငါစေလွှတ်၍ သိမ်း သွားခြင်းကို ခံရသော ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့သည်၊ ဤကောင်း သော သင်္ဘောသဖန်းသီးကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြသည်ဟု ငါဝန်ခံ မည်။
5Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.
6သူတို့၌ ကျေးဇူးပြုမည်ဟု ငါကြံစည်၍၊ ဤပြည် သို့တဖန် ဆောင်ခဲ့ဦးမည်။ နောက်တဖန် မဖြိုမဖျက်ဘဲ တည်ဆောက်မည်။ မနှုတ် မပယ်ဘဲစိုက်ထားမည်။
6For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
7ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို၊ သူတို့ သိနိုင်သော စိတ်နှလုံးကို ငါပေးမည်။ သူတို့သည် ငါ၏လူ ဖြစ်ကြ၍၊ ငါသည်လည်း သူတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်လိမ့် မည်။ ငါ့ထံသို့ စိတ်နှလုံးအကြွင်းမဲ့နှင့် ပြန်လာကြလိမ့် မည်။
7I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart.
8မစားနိုင်အောင် အလွန်ညံ့သော သင်္ဘော သဖန်းသီးကဲ့သို့၊ ငါသည် ယုဒရှင်ဘုရင် ဇေဒကိမှစ၍၊ မှူးတော်မတ်တော်၊ ဤပြည်၌ ကျန်ကြွင်းသော ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့သား၊ အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၌နေသော အမျိုးသားတို့ကို ဖြစ်စေမည်။
8As the bad figs, which can’t be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus says Yahweh, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt,
9သူတို့သည် ငါနှင်ရာအရပ်ရပ်တို့၌ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်း၊ ပုံခိုင်းခြင်း၊ ဆဲရေးခြင်း၊ ကျိန်ခြင်းတို့ကို ခံရမည် အကြောင်း၊ ငါသည် မြေပေါ်မှာ တိုင်းနိုင်ငံရှိသမျှတို့၌ နှောင့်ရှက်ညှဉ်းဆဲခြင်းသို့ သူတို့ကို အပ်လိုက်မည်။
9I will even give them up to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.
10သူတို့နှင့် သူတို့၏ ဘိုးဘေးတို့အား ငါပေးသော ပြည်မှ၊ သူတို့ကို မပယ်ရှင်းမှီတိုင်အောင် ထားဘေး၊ မွတ်သိပ်ခြင်းဘေး၊ ကာလနာဘေးကို သူတို့ရှိရာသို့ ငါစေလွှတ်မည်ဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
10I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, until they be consumed from off the land that I gave to them and to their fathers.
