¹ငါ့အသက်ကုန်ပြီ။ ငါနေရသော ကာလလွန်ပြီ။ သင်္ချိုင်းသည် ငါ့အဘို့ဖြစ်၏။

¹“My spirit is consumed. My days are extinct, And the grave is ready for me.

²ကဲ့ရဲ့တတ်သော သူတို့သည် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာရှိကြသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သူတို့နှောင့်ရှက်သော အခြင်းအရာတို့ကို အစဉ် ငါကြည့်မြင်ရသည်မဟုတ်လော။

²Surely there are mockers with me. My eye dwells on their provocation.

³အပေါင်ထားပါတော့။ အာမခံပေးပါတော့။ အဘယ်သူသည် ငါနှင့်ဂတိသစ္စထားမည်နည်း။

³“Now give a pledge, be collateral for me with yourself. Who is there who will strike hands with me?

⁴ကိုယ်တော်သည် သူတို့ဥာဏ် ကိုကွယ်စေတော် မူသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတို့ကို ချီးမြှောက်တော်မမူရ။

⁴For you have hidden their heart from understanding, Therefore you shall not exalt them.

⁵အကြင်သူသည် ဥစ္စာကိုလုယူအံ့သောငှါ အဆွေခင်ပွန်းကို အပ်၏။ ထိုသူ၏သားတို့သည် မြော်လင့်၍ စိတ်ပျက်ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁵He who denounces his friends for a prey, Even the eyes of his children shall fail.

⁶ငါ့ကို သူတပါးကဲ့ရဲ့စရာ အကြောင်းဖြစ်စေတော်မူ၍၊ သူတို့သည် ငါ့ကိုရွံ့ကြ၏။

⁶“But he has made me a byword of the people. They spit in my face.

⁷ဝမ်းနည်းခြင်းအားကြီးသောကြောင့် ငါ့မျက်စိ မှုန်၏။ ကိုယ်အင်္ဂါများတို့သည် အရိပ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

⁷My eye also is dim by reason of sorrow. All my members are as a shadow.

⁸ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့သည် ဤအမှုကြောင့် မိန်းမောတွေဝေကြလိမ့်မည်။ အပြစ်ကင်းလွတ်သော သူတို့သည် အဓမ္မလူများတဘက်က ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ်နှိုးဆော် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁸Upright men shall be astonished at this. The innocent shall stir up himself against the godless.

⁹ဖြောင့်မတ်သော သူတို့သည်လည်း တည်ကြည်ခြင်း၊ လက်စင်ကြယ်သောသူတို့သည် ခွန်အားတိုးပွါးခြင်း ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁹Yet shall the righteous hold on his way. He who has clean hands shall grow stronger and stronger.

¹⁰သင်တို့မူကား တယောက်မျှမကြွင်း၊ ပြန်သွားကြ ပါတော့။ သင်တို့တွင် ပညာရှိတစုံတယောက်ကိုမျှ ငါ မတွေ့နိုင်။

¹⁰But as for you all, come on now again; I shall not find a wise man among you.

¹¹ငါ့နေ့ရက်လွန်ပြီ။ ငါနှလုံးသွင်းမိသော အကြံ အစည်တို့သည် ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြပြီ။

¹¹My days are past, my plans are broken off, as are the thoughts of my heart.

¹²ညဉ့်သည် ငါ၌ နေကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါ့အလင်းသည် မှောင်မိုက်နှင့် နီးစပ်၏။

¹²They change the night into day, saying ‘The light is near’ in the presence of darkness.

¹³သင်္ချိုင်းသည် ငါ့နေရာဖြစ်သည်ကို ငါမြော်လင့် ၏။ ငါ့အိပ်ရာသည် မှောင်မိုက်၌ ခင်းလျက်ရှိ၏။

¹³If I look for Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. as my house, if I have spread my couch in the darkness,

¹⁴ပုပ်စပ်ခြင်းအား၊ သင်သည် ငါ့အဘဖြစ်၏ဟူ၍၎င်း၊ တီကောင်အား သင်သည်ငါ့အမိ၊ ငါ့နှမဖြစ် သည်ဟူ၍၎င်း ငါဆိုရ၏။

¹⁴If I have said to corruption, ‘You are my father;’ to the worm, ‘My mother,’ and ‘my sister;’

¹⁵သို့ဖြစ်၍ အဘယ်သို့ ငါမြော်လင့်ရသနည်း။ ငါမြော်လင့်စရာအကြောင်းကို အဘယ်သူမြင်ရသနည်း။

¹⁵where then is my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

¹⁶ထိုအကြောင်းသည် မရဏနိုင်ငံအထဲသို့ဝင်၍၊ ငါနှင့်အတူ မြေမှုန့်၌ နှိမ့်ချလျက်နေရမည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။

¹⁶Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol Sheol is the place of the dead. , or descend together into the dust?”
