¹ယောသပ်အမျိုးသားတို့သည် စာရေးတံပြု၍ အမွေခံရသောမြေ အပိုင်းအခြားသည် ယော်ဒန်မြစ်နား၊ ယေရိခေါမြို့အရှေ့၊ ယေရိခေါအိုင်မှထွက်၍ တောလမ်း သို့ လိုက်လျက်၊ ဗေသလတောင်တရှောက်လုံး သွားသဖြင့်၊

¹The lot came out for the children of Joseph from the Jordan at Jericho, at the waters of Jericho on the east, even the wilderness, going up from Jericho through the hill country to Bethel.

²ဗေသလလုဇမြို့သို့၎င်း၊ အာခိအတရုတ် မြို့သို့ ၎င်း၊

²It went out from Bethel to Luz, and passed along to the border of the Archites to Ataroth;

³အနောက်မျက်နှာ၌ ယာဖလေတိမြို့သို့၎င်း၊ အောက်ဗက်ဟောရုန်မြို့သို့၎င်း၊ ဂေဇာမြို့သို့၎င်း ရောက် ၍ ပင်လယ်၌ဆုံးလေ၏။

³and it went down westward to the border of the Japhletites, to the border of Beth Horon the lower, even to Gezer; and ended at the sea.

⁴ထိုသို့ ယောသပ်၏သား မနာရှေနှင့် ဧဖရိမ်တို့ သည် အမွေခံရကြ၏။

⁴The children of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance.

⁵ဧဖရိမ်အမျိုးသားတို့သည် အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် နေသော မြေအပိုင်းအခြားသည်၊ အရှေ့ဘက်၌ အတရုတ် အဒ္ဒါမြို့မှ အထက်ဗက်ဟောရုန်မြို့သို့ လိုက်၍၊

⁵This was the border of the children of Ephraim according to their families. The border of their inheritance eastward was Ataroth Addar, to Beth Horon the upper.

⁶မြောက်မျက်နှာ၌ ပင်လယ်နား၊ မိတ်မေသမြို့သို့ ထွက်၏။ တဖန် အရှေ့သို့ မျက်နှာပြု၍ တာနတ်ရှိလော မြို့အရှေ့မှာ ရှောက်လျက်၊

⁶The border went out westward at Michmethath on the north. The border turned about eastward to Taanath Shiloh, and passed along it on the east of Janoah.

⁷ယနောဟမြို့သို့၎င်း၊ ယနောဟမြို့မှ အတရုတ် မြို့၊ နာရတ်မြို့၊ ယေရိခေါမြို့သို့၎င်း ရောက်၍ ယော်ဒန် မြစ်၌ ဆုံးလေ၏။

⁷It went down from Janoah to Ataroth, to Naarah, reached to Jericho, and went out at the Jordan.

⁸တာပွါမြို့မှ အနောက်သို့သွား၍ ကာနမြစ်သို့ လိုက်လျက် ပင်လယ်၌ ဆုံးလေ၏။

⁸From Tappuah the border went along westward to the brook of Kanah; and ended at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim according to their families;

⁹ဤရွေ့ကား၊ မနာရှေအမျိုးသားတို့အဘို့ အမွေ ခံရသောမြေ၌ ဧဖရိမ်အမျိုးသားတို့အဘို့ ခွဲထားသော မြို့များနှင့်တကွ ဧဖရိမ်အမျိုးသား အဆွေအမျိုးအလိုက် အမွေခံရသော မြို့ရွာများဖြစ်သတည်း။

⁹together with the cities which were set apart for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages.

¹⁰ဂေဇာမြို့၌နေသော ခါနနိလူတို့ကို မနှင်ထုတ် ဘဲ သူတို့သည် ယနေ့တိုင်အောင် ဧဖရိမ်အမျိုးသားတို့နှင့် အတူနေ၍ အခွန်ပေးရကြ၏။

¹⁰They didn’t drive out the Canaanites who lived in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwell in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and have become servants to do forced labor.
