1တဖန်မောရှေအား ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ သင်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ -
1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
2မိန်းမသည် ပဋိသန္ဓေယူ၍ သားယောက်ျားကို ဘွားမြင်ပြီးလျှင်၊ ဥတုရောက်၍ ခုနစ်ရက်မစင်ကြယ် သကဲ့သို့ ခုနစ်ရက် မစင်ကြယ်နေရမည်။
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
3အဋ္ဌမနေ့၌ သားယောက်ျားအား အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို ပြုရမည်။
3In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4ထိုနောက် အမိသည် စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သော အသွေးရှိ၍၊ အရက်သုံးဆယ်သုံးရက်ပတ်လုံး နေရမည်။ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနေ့ရက် မစေ့မှီတိုင်အောင် သန့်ရှင်းသောအရာကို မကိုင်ရ။ သန့်ရှင်း ရာ ဌာနတော်ကို မသွားရ။
4She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
5သားမိန်းမကို ဘွားမြင်လျှင်၊ ဥတုရောက်သကဲ့သို့ တဆယ်လေးရက်ပတ်လုံး မစင်ကြယ်နေရမည်။ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနှင့် ဆိုင်သောအသွေးရှိ၍၊ အရက် ခြောက်ဆယ်ခြောက်ရက်ပတ်လုံး နေရမည်။
5But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days.
6သားယောက်ျားဖြစ်စေ၊ မိန်းမဖြစ်စေ၊ စင်ကြယ်စေခြင်းနေ့ရက် ကာလစေ့သောအခါ၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ် ဘို့ အခါမလည်သော သိုးသငယ်တကောင်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်ဘို့ ချိုးကလေးတကောင်၊ သို့မဟုတ် ခိုတကောင်ကို၊ ပရိသတ်စည်းဝေးရာ တဲတော်တံခါးရှေ့၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ထံသို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ရမည်။
6“‘When the days of her purification are completed, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering:
7ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့တော်၌ ပူဇော်၍၊ ထိုမိန်းမအဘို့ အပြစ်ဖြေခြင်းကို ပြုသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် အသွေးသွန်ခြင်းအပြစ်မှ သန့်ရှင်းရလိမ့်မည်။
7and he shall offer it before Yahweh, and make atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. “‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
8သိုးသငယ်ကို မတတ်နိုင်လျှင် ခိုနှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ချိုးကလေးနှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ဘို့ တကောင်၊ အပြစ်ဖြေရာယဇ်ဘို့တကောင်ကို ဆောင်ခဲ့၍၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်သည် သူ့အဘို့ အပြစ်ဖြေခြင်းကို ပြုသဖြင့်၊ သူသည် သန့်ရှင်းရလိမ့်မည်။ ဤရွေ့ကား၊ သားယောက်ျား၊ သားမိန်းမ ကိုး ဘွားမြင်သော အမိနှင့် ဆိုင်သောတရားဖြစ်သတည်းဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
8If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons; the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’”
