1တဖန်မောရှေအား ထာဝရဘုရားက၊-
1Yahweh said to Moses,
2သင်သည် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည်မှာ၊ ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်၏။
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am Yahweh your God.
3သင်တို့ နေဘူးသော အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်၏ အကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့ကို ငါပို့ဆောင်လတံ့သော ခါနာန်ပြည်၏ အကျင့်ကို၎င်း၊ သင်တို့သည် မကျင့်၊ သူတို့ တရားလမ်းသို့ မလိုက်ရကြ။
3You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived: and you shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you; neither shall you walk in their statutes.
4ငါစီရင်ချက်ရှိသည်အတိုင်း ကျင့်၍၊ ငါ့ပညတ်တရားလမ်းသို့ လိုက်ခြင်းငှါ စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
4You shall do my ordinances, and you shall keep my statutes, and walk in them: I am Yahweh your God.
5ထိုကြောင့် ငါ့စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ထိုအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်သောသူသည် ထိုအကျင့်အားဖြင့် အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
5You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances; which if a man does, he shall live in them: I am Yahweh.
6သင်တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူမျှ ကိုယ်ပေါက်ဘော်တော်သောသူကို ချဉ်း၍ သံဝါသမပြုရ။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
6“‘None of you shall approach anyone who are his close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am Yahweh.
7သင်၏ အဘနှင့်သာဆိုင်သော သင်၏ အမိကို မချဉ်းရ။ ကိုယ်အမိ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် သံဝါသမပြုရ။
7“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
8ကိုယ်အဘ၏ မယားမည်သည်ကို မချဉ်းရ။ အဘနှင့်သာဆိုင်၏။
8“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife: it is your father’s nakedness.
9တအိမ်တည်း၌ မွေးဘွားသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ အခြားသော အရပ်၌ မွေးဘွားသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သင်၏ နှမကို မချဉ်းရ။
9“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home, or born abroad.
10ကိုယ်ရင်သွေးဖြစ်သော သင်၏မြေးကို မချဉ်းရ။
10“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness: for theirs is your own nakedness.
11အမိခြားသော်လည်း တဘတည်းဖြစ်သော နှမကို မချဉ်းရ။
11“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.
12သင့်အဘ၏ ပေါက်ဘော်ရင်းဖြစ်သော အဘ၏ နှမကို၎င်း၊
12“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister: she is your father’s near kinswoman.
13သင့်အမိ၏ ပေါက်ဘော်ရင်းဖြစ်သော အမိ၏ ညီအစ်မကို၎င်း၊
13“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister: for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.
14အဘ၏ ညီအစ်ကိုနှင့်သာဆိုင်သော မိကြီး မိထွေးဖြစ်သော အဘ၏ ညီအစ်ကို မယားကို၎င်း၊
14“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother, you shall not approach his wife: she is your aunt.
15သား၏မယားတည်းဟူသော ချွေးမကို၎င်း၊
15“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law: she is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
16ညီအစ်ကိုနှင့်သာဆိုင်သော ညီအစ်ကို၏ မယားကို၎င်း၊ မချဉ်းရ။
16“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife: it is your brother’s nakedness.
17ကိုယ်မယား၏ ပေါက်ဘော်ရင်းဖြစ်သော မယား၏သမီး၊ မယား၏ မြေးကို မချဉ်းရ။ မတရားသောအမှုဖြစ်၏။
17“‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.
18ကိုယ်မယားကို နှောင့်ရှက်ခြင်းငှါ သူအသက်ရှင်စဉ်တွင် သူ၏ ညီအစ်မကို မသိမ်းရ။
18“‘You shall not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is yet alive.
19ဥတုရောက်၍ မစင်ကြယ်သော မိန်းမကိုလည်း မချဉ်းရ။
19“‘You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
20ကိုယ်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေလျက်၊ သူ့မယားကို မပြစ်မှားရ။
20“‘You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.
21သင်၏ သားသမီးတို့ကို၊ မောလုတ်ဘုရားအား မီးဖြင့် ပူဇော်ရ။ သင်၏ ဘုရားသခင် နာမတော်ကို မရှုတ်မချရ။ ငါသည် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏။
21“‘You shall not give any of your children to sacrifice to Molech; neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am Yahweh.
22မိန်းမနှင့် ပေါင်းဘော်သကဲ့သို့ ယောက်ျားချင်း မပေါင်းဘော်ရ။ ရွံရှာဘွယ်အမှုဖြစ်၏။
22“‘You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman. That is detestable.
23ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ် ညစ်ညူးစေ၍ တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့်မပေါင်းဘော်ရ။ မိန်းမသည်လည်း မိမိနှင့် တိရစ္ဆာန်၏ ပေါင်းဘော်ခြင်းကို မခံရ။ ရွံရှာဘွယ်သော ရောနှောခြင်းဖြစ်၏။
23“‘You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it; neither shall any woman give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.
24ထိုသို့သော အမှုအားဖြင့် ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ် မညစ်ညူးစေရ။ သင်တို့ရှေ့မှာ ငါနှင်ထုတ်သော လူအမျိုး မျိုးတို့သည်၊ ထိုသို့သောအမှုကို ပြု၍ ညစ်ညူးကြ၏။
24“‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.
25သူတို့ ပြည်သည်လည်း ညစ်ညူး၏။ ညစ်ညူးသော အပြစ်ကြောင့် ငါဆုံးမ၍၊ ထိုပြည်သည် မိမိ သားတို့ကို အော့အန်လိမ့်မည်။
25The land was defiled: therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.
26သင်တို့မူကား၊ ငါ့စီရင်ထုံးဖွဲ့ချက်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ထိုပြည်သည် သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ရှိသော လူအမျိုးမျိုးတို့ကို အော့အန်သကဲ့သို့ တဖန် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းကိုခံ၍၊ သင်တို့ကို မအော့အန်စေခြင်းငှါ၊ ကိုယ်အမျိုးသားဖြစ်စေ၊
26You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you;
27သင်တို့တွင် တည်းနေသော တပါးအမျိုးသားဖြစ်စေ၊ ထိုသို့သော ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် အမှုတို့ကို မပြုရ။
27(for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land became defiled);
28သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ရှိသော ပြည်သားတို့သည် ထိုသို့သော ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်အမှုတို့ကို ပြုသော အားဖြင့် သူတို့ပြည်သည် ညစ်ညူးခြင်းရှိ၏။
28that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
29ထိုသို့သော ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်အမှုတို့ကို ပြုသောသူ မည်သည်ကား၊ သူ၏အမျိုးမှ ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်း ခံရမည်။
29“‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
30သို့ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့ရှေ့၌ ပြူဘူးသော ထိုရွံ့ရှာဘွယ် ထုံးစံဓလေ့သို့ သင်တို့သည် လိုက်၍၊ ကိုယ့်ကိုကိုယ် မညစ်ညူးစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ငါ့ပညတ်တရားကို စောင့်ရှောက်ရကြမည်။ ငါသည် သင်တို့၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ်၏ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
30Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs, which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them: I am Yahweh your God.’”
