¹ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ဘက်မှာ ရှိတော် မမူလျှင်ဟူသော စကားနှင့် ချီ၍၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးဆိုရ သောစကား ဟူမူကား၊

¹If it had not been Yahweh who was on our side, let Israel now say,

²ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ဘက်မှာ ရှိတော် မမူလျှင်၊ လူတို့သည် ငါတို့ရန်ဘက်၌ နေကြသောအခါ၊

²if it had not been Yahweh who was on our side, when men rose up against us;

³အမျက်ထွက်၍ ငါတို့ကို အသက်နှင့်တကွ မျိုကြပြီတကား။

³then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us;

⁴ထိုအခါ ငါတို့ကို ရေသည်၊ လွှမ်းမိုး၍ စီးသော ရေသည် ငါတို့ဝိညာဉ်အပေါ်မှာ ကျော်သွားပြီ တကား။

⁴then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul;

⁵စော်ကားသော ရေတို့သည် ငါတို့အသက် ဝိညာဉ်အပေါ်မှာ ကျော်သွားကြပြီတကား။

⁶သူတို့သွားနှင့် ကိုက်ခဲရာဘို့ ငါတို့ကို အပ်တော် မမူသော ထာဝရဘုရားသည် မင်္ဂလာရှိတော်မူစေ သတည်း။

⁶Blessed be Yahweh, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

⁷ငှက်သည် မုဆိုးတို့၏ ကျော့ကွင်းထဲက လွတ် သကဲ့သို့၊ ငါတို့အသက်သည် လွတ်လျက်ရှိ၏။ ကျော့ကွင်း ပြတ်၍ ငါတို့သည် လွတ်ကြပြီ။

⁷Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

⁸ကောင်းကင်နှင့် မြေကြီးကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော် မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား၏ နာမတော်အားဖြင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် မစခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို ခံရကြသတည်း။

⁸Our help is in the name of Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
