¹ဖလားခုနစ်လုံးရှိသော ကောင်းကင်တမန် ခုနစ်ပါးတို့တွင် တပါးသည်လာပြီးလျှင် ၊ ငါ့ကိုနှုတ်ဆက် ၍၊ လာခဲ့ပါ။ ရေအပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်သော ပြည်တန်ဆာကြီး၌ စီရင်ခြင်းအမှုကို ငါပြမည်။

¹One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,

²လောကီရှင်ဘုရင်တို့သည် မတရားသော မေထုန်ကို သူနှင့်ပြုကြပြီ။ မြေကြီးသားတို့သည် သူ၏ မတရားသောမေထုန်၏ စပျစ်ရည်နှင့် ယစ်မူးကြပြီဟု ပြောဆိုလျက်၊

²with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”

³ငါ့ကို ဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့် တောသို့ဆောင်သွားလေ၏။ ခေါင်းခုနစ်လုံးနှင့် ချိုဆယ်ချောင်းရှိ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အသရေတော်ကို ရှုတ်ချသောနာမတို့နှင့် အပြည့်ရှိသော သားရဲနီအပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်လျက်ရှိသော မိန်းမတဦးကို ငါမြင်၏။

³He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet-colored animal, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.

⁴ထိုမိန်းမသည် အဝတ်နီ၊ အဝတ်မောင်းကို ဝတ်လျက်၊ ရွှေတန်ဆာ၊ ကျောက်မြတ်တန်ဆာ၊ ပုလဲ တန်ဆာကို ဆင်လျက်ရှိ၏။ စက်ဆုတ်ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်သော အရာနှင့်၎င်း၊ မိမိမတရားသော မေထုန်၏ ညစ်ညူးခြင်း နှင့်၎င်း ပြည့်သောရွှေဖလားကို ကိုင်လျက်ရှိ၏။

⁴The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.

⁵နဖူး၌အက္ခရာတင်သော ဘွဲ့မူကား၊ နက်နဲသော အရာ၊ ဗာဗုလုန်မြို့ကြီး၊ ပြည်တန်ဆာတို့၏ အမိ ၊ မြေ၌ စက်ဆုပ်ရွံ့ရှာဘွယ်သော အရာတို့၏ အမိပေတည်း။

⁵And on her forehead a name was written, “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

⁶ထိုမိန်းမသည် သန့်ရှင်းသူတို့၏ အသွေး၊ ယေရှု၏ သက်သေခံတို့၏ အသွေးနှင့် ယစ်မူးသည်ကို ငါမြင်၏။ ထိုသို့မြင်သောအခါ အလွန်အံ့ဩမိန်းမော၍ နေ၏။

⁶I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

⁷ကောင်းကင်တမန်ကလည်း၊ အဘယ်ကြောင့် အံ့ဩသနည်း။ ထိုမိန်းမ၏ နက်နဲသော အရာကို၎င်း၊ ခေါင်းခုနစ်လုံးနှင့် ချိုဆယ်ချောင်းရှိ၍ ထိုမိန်းမကို ဆောင်သော သားရဲ၏ နက်နဲသောအရာကို၎င်း၊ ငါပြော မည်။

⁷The angel said to me, “Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

⁸ယခုမြင်သော သားရဲသည် ဖြစ်ဘူးပြီ၊ ဖြစ်ဆဲမရှိ၊ အနက်ဆုံးသော တွင်းထဲကတက်၍ ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ ကမ္ဘာဦးကပင် အသက်စာစောင်၌ စာရင်းမဝင်သော မြေကြီးသားတို့သည် ဖြစ်ဘူး၍၊ ဖြစ်ဆဲမရှိ၊ ဖြစ်လတံ့သောသားရဲကို မြင်ရသောအခါ၊ အံ့ဩကြလိမ့်မည်။

⁸The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present. TR reads “yet is” instead of “shall be present”

⁹ဤအရာ၌ ပညာနှင့်ပြည့်စုံသော ဥာဏ်ရှိ၏။ ခေါင်းခုနစ်လုံးကား၊ မိန်းမထိုင်သော ထောင်ခုနစ်လုံး ဖြစ်၏။

⁹Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.

¹⁰ရှင်ဘုရင်ခုနစ်ပါးလည်းဖြစ်၏။ ငါးပါးကျပြီး၊ တပါးရှိသေး၏။ တပါးဖြစ်လေဦးမည်။ ဖြစ်သောအခါ တခဏသာတည်လိမ့်မည်။

¹⁰They are seven kings. Five have fallen, the one is, the other has not yet come. When he comes, he must continue a little while.

¹¹ဖြစ်ဘူး၍ ဖြစ်ဆဲမရှိသောသားရဲသည် ရှစ်ပါးမြောက်သော ရှင်ဘုရင်ဖြစ်၏။ ခုနစ်ပါးအဝင်လည်း ဖြစ်၏။ ဖျက်ဆီးခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ရလိမ့်မည်။

¹¹The beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven; and he goes to destruction.

¹²ယခုမြင်သော ချိုဆယ်ချောင်းကား၊ မင်းအာဏာစက်ကို မရသေးသော ရှင်ဘုရင်ဆယ်ပါး ဖြစ်၏။ ရှင် ဘုရင်၏ အာဏာစက်ကို သားရဲနှင့်အတူ တချက်တည်း ရကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹²The ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority as kings, with the beast, for one hour.

¹³ထိုသူတို့သည် သဘောတူ၍ မိမိတို့တန်ခိုး အာဏာစက်ကို သားရဲ၌ အပ်ပေးကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹³These have one mind, and they give their power and authority to the beast.

¹⁴သူတို့သည် သိုးသငယ်ကို စစ်တိုက်၍ သိုးသငယ်သည် နိုင်တော်မူမည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သိုး သငယ်သည် သခင်တို့၏သခင် ဘုရင်တို့၏ဘုရင် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့် အတူရှိသော သူတို့သည် လည်း ခေါ်တော်မူသောသူ၊ ရွေးချယ်တော်မူသောသူ၊ သစ္စာရှိသောသူ ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

¹⁴These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful.”

¹⁵ယခုမြင်၍ ပြည်တန်ဆာထိုင်သော ရေကား၊ အသီးအသီး ဘာသာစကားကို ပြောသော လူအမျိုးမျိုး အစုစု ဖြစ်သတည်း။

¹⁵He said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

¹⁶ယခုမြင်သော ချိုဆယ်ချောင်းနှင့် သားရဲသည် ပြည်တန်ဆာကို မုန်း၍ သူ၏စည်းစိမ်ကို ဖျက်ဆီးလိမ့် မည်။ သူ၏အဝတ်တန်ဆာကိုချွတ်၍ သူ၏အသားကို ကိုက်စားလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁶The ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate, and will make her naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her utterly with fire.

¹⁷သူ၏ကိုယ်ကိုလည်း မီးရှို့လိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သူတို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏ အလိုတော်ကို ပြုခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်မပြည့်စုံမှီတိုင်အောင် သဘောတူ၍ မိမိတို့နိုင်ငံများကို သားရဲ၌ အပ်ပေးခြင်းငှါ၎င်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် သူတို့၌ အကြံပေးတော်မူ၏။

¹⁷For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished.

¹⁸ယခုမြင်သော မိန်းမသည်လည်း၊ လောကီရှင်ဘုရင်တို့ကို အုပ်စိုးသော မြို့ကြီးဖြစ်သတည်းဟု ကောင်းကင်တမန် ပြောဆို၏။

¹⁸The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
