11

¹သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိလူမျိုးကို ပယ်တော်မူပြီလောဟုမေးသော်၊ ပယ်တော်မမူဟုဆိုရ၏။ ငါပင်ဣသရေလ လူဖြစ်၏။ အာဗြဟံအမျိုး၊ ဗင်္ယာမိန် အနွယ်ဖြစ်၏။

¹I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

²ဘုရားသခင်သည် အထက်က သိမှတ်တော်မူသော မိမိလူတို့ကို ပယ်တော်မမူ။ ပရောဖက်ဧလိယက၊ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊

²God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:

³သူတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်၏ ပရောဖက်များကို သတ်ကြပါပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ယဇ်ပလ္လင်များကို ဖြိုဖျက် ကြပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တယောက်တည်းကျန်ရစ်၍၊ အကျွန်ုပ် အသက်ကိုပင် ရှာကြပါ၏ဟု ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့မှာ ဣသရေလအမျိုးတဘက်၌လျှောက်ထားသည်ဟု ကျမ်းစာ၌ ပါသော အကြောင်းကိုသင်တို့သည် မသိကြသလော။

³“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have broken down your altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.”

⁴ထိုသို့လျှောက်သောအခါ၊ အဘယ်သို့ ဗျာဒိတ် ထားတော်မူသနည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဗာလရှေ့၌ ဒူးမထောက် သောလူခုနစ်ထောင်တို့ကို ငါ့အဘို့ ငါကျန်ကြွင်းစေပြီ ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

⁴But how does God answer him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

⁵ထိုနည်းတူ၊ ယခုကာလတွင်ပင် ကျေးဇူးတော်အတိုင်း ရွေကောက်တော်မူသော အကြွင်းအကျန် ရှိသေး၏။

⁵Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

⁶ကျေးဇူးတော်အားဖြင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်အားဖြင့်မရှိ၊ ရှိလျှင်ကျေးဇူးသည် ကျေးဇူးမဟုတ်။ ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်အားဖြင့်ရှိလျှင်၊ ကျေးဇူးအားဖြင့်မရှိ၊ ရှိလျှင်ကိုယ်ကျင့်သောအကျင့်သည် အကျင့် မဟုတ်။

⁶And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

⁷သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်အဘယ်သို့နည်း၊ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် ရှာသောအရာကို မတွေ့မရကြ။ ရွေးကောက်တော်မူသော သူတို့သာ တွေ့ရကြ၏။ ကြွင်းသောသူတို့ကို မှောင်မိုက်ဖုံးလွှမ်း၏။

⁷What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he didn’t obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.

⁸ထိုသို့နှင့်အညီ ကျမ်းစာလာသည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် အိပ်ချင်သောသဘောကို၎င်း၊ မမြင်နိုင်သော မျက်စိကို၎င်း၊ မကြားနိုင်သော နားကို၎င်း၊ ထိုသူတို့အား ပေးတော်မူပြီဟုလာ၏။ ထိုကျမ်းစာချက်သည် ယနေ့ တိုင်အောင်ပြည့်စုံသတည်း။

⁸According as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.”

⁹ဒါဝိဒ်၏စကားဟူမူကား၊ သူတို့စားပွဲသည် သူတို့၌ ကျော့ကွင်းသော်၎င်း၊ ဂျမ်းသော်၎င်း၊ ထောင် ချောက်သော်၎င်း၊ ခံထိုက်သော အပြစ်သော်၎င်း ဖြစ်ပါစေ။

⁹David says, “Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, a stumbling block, and a retribution to them.

¹⁰သူတို့သည်မမြင်နိုင်အောင်မျက်စိကွယ်ပါစေ။ သူတို့ကျောသည်လည်း အစဉ်ကုန်းပါစေဟု လာ သတည်း။

¹⁰Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see. Bow down their back always.”

¹¹သို့ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ ဣသရေလလူတို့သည်လဲ၍ နေရသည်တိုင်အောင် ထိမိကြပြီလောဟု မေးသော်၊ လဲ၍မနေရကြ။ သူတို့၏စိတ်ကို နှိုးဆော်စရာအကြောင်း ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ၊ သူတို့၏လဲခြင်းအားဖြင့် ကယ်တင်တော် မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးသည်တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့၌ သက်ရောက် လေ၏။

¹¹I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.

¹²သူတို့၏လဲခြင်းအရာသည် လောကီသားတို့၏ စီးပွါးကို၎င်း၊ သူတို့၏ရှုံးခြင်းအရာသည်တပါး အမျိုးသား တို့၏ စီးပွါးကို၎င်း ပြုစုလျှင်၊ သူတို့၏ ပြည့်စုံခြင်းအရာသည်သာ၍ ပြုစုမည်မဟုတ်လော။

¹²Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?

¹³ထိုသို့ဆိုသော်၊

¹³For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an apostle to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

¹⁴ငါသည်တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့နှင့်ဆိုင်သော တမန်တော်ဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ၊ ထိုတမန်တော် ၏ အရာကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်၊ ငါ့အမျိုးသားချင်းတို့၏ စိတ်ကို တခုခုအားဖြင့်နှိုးဆော်၍၊ အချို့တို့ကို ကယ်တင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားဖြစ်သော သင်တို့အားဆိုရသတည်း။

¹⁴if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.

¹⁵ထိုသူတို့ကို ပယ်တော်မူခြင်းအရာသည် လောကီသားတို့၏ မိဿဟာယဖွဲ့ခြင်းအကြောင်း ဖြစ်လျှင်၊ သူတို့ကို သိမ်းဆည်းတော်မူခြင်းအရာသည် သေခြင်းမှထမြောက်ရှင်ပြန်ခြင်းကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်လော။

¹⁵For if the rejection of them is the reconciling of the world, what would their acceptance be, but life from the dead?

¹⁶အဦးနယ်သော မုန့်စိမ်းသည်သန့်ရှင်းလျှင်၊ တပုံလုံးသန့်ရှင်းလိမ့်မည်။ အမြစ်သန့်ရှင်းလျှင်၊ အခက် အလက်များလည်း သန့်ရှင်းကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹⁶If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

¹⁷အချို့သောအခက်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ပြီးမှ၊ ရိုင်းသော သံလွင့်ပင်တည်းဟူသော သင်ကို အထက်ငုတ်၌ ဆက်၍ စိုက်သဖြင့်၊ အခက်များနှင့် အတူသံလွင်ပင်အမြစ်ကို၎င်း၊ အဆီဩဇာကို၎င်း ဆက်ဆံလျှင်၊ ချိုးဖဲ့သော အခက်တို့ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့ဝါကြွားခြင်းမရှိနှင့်။

¹⁷But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree;

¹⁸ဝါကြွားလျှင်မူကား၊ သင်သည်အမြစ်ကို မဆောင်၊ အမြစ်သည် သင့်ကိုဆောင်၏။

¹⁸don’t boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.

¹⁹ငါ့ကိုဆက်၍စိုက်ခြင်းငှါထိုအခက်တို့ကို ချိုးဖဲ့ ပြီဟု သင်ဆိုပြန်လျှင်၊ မှန်စေတော့။

¹⁹You will say then, “Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.”

²⁰မယုံကြည်သောစိတ်ရှိသောကြောင့် သူတို့ ကိုချိုးဖဲ့သည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်သည်ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်သာ တည်၏။ မာနစိတ်မရှိစေနှင့်။ ကြောက်ခြင်းစိတ်ရှိစေလော့။

²⁰True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don’t be conceited, but fear;

²¹အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ပကတိ အခက်များကို နှမြောတော်မမူလျှင်၊ သင်တို့ကို နှမြော တော်မူမည်လော။

²¹for if God didn’t spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.

²²သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ လဲသောသူတို့၌ ပြင်းစွာ စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းကို၎င်း၊ ကျေးဇူးတော်၌သင်သည် တည်နေလျှင်၊ သင်၌ပြုတော်မူသော ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို၎င်း၊ ဤနှစ်ပါးကို အောက်မေ့လော့။ ကျေးဇူးတော်၌မတည်မနေလျှင်၊ သင်သည်လည်းခုတ်ပစ်ခြင်းကိုခံရမည်။

²²See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

²³သူတို့သည်မယုံကြည်သောစိတ်ပျောက်လျှင်၊ အပင်၌တဖန် ဆက်၍စိုက်သောအခွင့်ကို ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့ကို တဖန်ဆက်၍ စိုက်ခြင်းငှါ ဘုရားသခင်တတ်နိုင်တော်မူ၏။

²³They also, if they don’t continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

²⁴အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ပကတိရိုင်းသော သံလွင်ပင်မှ သင့်ကိုခုတ်ယူ၍၊ ကောင်းသော သံလွင်ပင်၌ ပကတိကို မလိုက်ဘဲ ဆက်၍စိုက်သည် မှန်လျှင်၊ ပကတိအခက်ဖြစ်သော ထိုသူတို့သည် မိမိတို့ သံလွင်ပင်၌ ဆက်၍စိုက်သောအခွင့်ကို သာ၍ရကြမည် မဟုတ်လော။

²⁴For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

²⁵ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ သင်တို့သည် ဝါကြွားသောစိတ်မရှိစေမည်အကြောင်း၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားအပေါင်း တို့သည် မဝင်မှီတိုင်အောင်၊ ဣသရေလလူအချို့တို့ကို မှောင်မိုက်ဖုံးလွှမ်းခြင်းအကြောင်းတည်းဟူသော နက်နဲ သောအရာကို မသိဘဲနေစေခြင်းငှါ ငါအလိုမရှိ။

²⁵For I don’t desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that you won’t be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,

²⁶ထိုသို့ကျမ်းစာနှင့်အညီ၊ ဣသရေလလူ အပေါင်းတို့သည် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျမ်းစာချက်ဟူမူကား၊ ကယ်လွှတ်သောသခင်သည် ဇိအုန်တောင်၌ ပေါ်ထွန်း၍၊ မတရားသော အမှုကို ယာကုပ်အမျိုးသားတို့မှ လွှဲတော်မူလတံ့၊

²⁶and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, “There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

²⁷သူတို့အပြစ်များကို ငါပယ်ရှင်းသောအခါ၊ သူတို့၌ ငါပေးသော ပဋိညာဉ်တရားသည် ထိုသို့သော တရားဖြစ်၏ဟု လာသတည်း။

²⁷This is my covenant to them, when I will take away their sins.”

²⁸သူတို့သည် ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအားဖြင့်မူကား သင်တို့အကြောင်းကြောင့် ရန်သူဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ရွေးကောက် တော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့်မူကား၊ ဘိုးဘေးများအကြောင်းကြောင့် ချစ်သူဖြစ်ကြ၏။

²⁸Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.

²⁹အဘယ်သို့နည်းဟူမူကား၊ ဘုရားသခင် ပေးသနားတော်မူခြင်း၊ ခေါ်ထားတော်မူခြင်း ကျေးဇူးသည် ဖောက်ပြန်ခြင်းသဘောမရှိ၊

²⁹For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

³⁰သင်တို့သည်အထက်က၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ စကားတော်ကို နားမထောင်ဘဲနေသော်လည်း၊ ယခုတွင် သူတို့ နားမထောင်ခြင်းအမှုအားဖြင့်၊ သနားတော်မူခြင်း ကို ခံရသကဲ့သို့၊

³⁰For as you in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,

³¹ထိုနည်းတူ၊ သင်တို့ခံရသော သနားတော်မူခြင်းအားဖြင့် သူတို့လည်းသနားတော်မူခြင်းကို ခံရမည် အကြောင်း၊ ယခုတွင်သူတို့သည် နားမထောင်ဘဲ နေရကြ၏။

³¹even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.

³²ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို သနားတော်မူခြင်း အခွင့်ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ လူအပေါင်းတို့ကို နားမထောင်ခြင်းအဖြစ်၌ ချုပ်ထားတော်မူ၏။

³²For God has shut up all to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.

³³ဘုရားသခင်၏ပညာနှင့် ဥာဏ်တော်သည် အလွန်ကျယ်ဝန်း နက်နဲစွတကား။ စီရင်တော်မူချက်တို့ကို အဘယ်သူမျှစစ်၍ မကုန်နိုင်။ ကြွတော်မူရာလမ်းတို့ကို လိုက်၍ရှာသော်လည်းမတွေ့မမှီနိုင်။

³³Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

³⁴ထာဝရဘုရား၏စိတ်တော်ကို အဘယ်သူသိသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားနှင့်အဘယ်သူသည် တိုင်ပင် ဘက်ပြုသနည်း။

³⁴“For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”

³⁵ကျေးဇူးဆပ်တော်မူရမည်အကြောင်း၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၌ အဘယ်သူသည် ကျေးဇူးပြုဘူးသနည်း။

³⁵“Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?”

³⁶ခပ်သိမ်းသောအရာတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်အထဲက၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အားဖြင့်၎င်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်အဘို့ အလိုငှါ၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ ကမ္ဘာအဆက်ဆက် ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူစေသတည်း။ အာမင်။

³⁶For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.
