¹သူတပါးကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်တတ်သောသူ၊ သင်သည်ကိုယ်အပြစ်ကို မဖုံးနိုင်ရာ။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ သင်သည်စစ်ကြောစီရင်သော အမှုကိုပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြုသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သူတပါးကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်သည်တွင် ကိုယ်အပြစ်ရှိကြောင်းကို စီရင်ဆုံးဖြတ်ရာရောက်၏။

¹Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.

²ဘုရားသခင်သည် ထိုသို့ပြုသောသူတို့ကို စီရင်တော်မူခြင်း အရာသည် သမ္မာတရားနှင့် ညီသည်ကို ငါတို့သိကြ၏။

²We know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.

³ထိုသို့သောအမှုကိုကိုယ်တိုင်ပြုလျက်ပင်၊ သူတပါးပြုသည်ကို စစ်ကြောစီရင်သောသူ၊ သင်သည် ဘုရားသခင်စီရင်တော်မူခြင်းနှင့် လွတ်မည်ဟု ထင်မှတ် သလော။

³Do you think this, O man who judges those who practice such things, and do the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

⁴ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်သည် သင့်ကို နောင်တလမ်းသို့ သွေးဆောင်သည်ကို မသိမမှတ်ဘဲ၊ ကြွယ်ဝစွာ ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူခြင်း၊ သည်းခံတော်မူခြင်း၊ စိတ်ရှည်တော်မူခြင်းတို့ကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသလော။

⁴Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

⁵ထိုသို့ပြုလျှင် စိတ်ခိုင်မာ၍ နောင်တမရသည်နှင့်အညီ ဒေါသနေ့တည်းဟူသော ဘုရားသခင်၏ တရားတော်ထင်ရှားသောနေ့၌ ကိုယ်ခံစရာဘို့ အမျက်ဒေါသကို ဆည်းပူးသလော။

⁵But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;

⁶ဘုရားသခင်သည် လူအသီးသီးတို့အား မိမိတို့ အကျင့်နှင့် အလျောက်အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို ဆပ်ပေးတော် မူလတံ့၊

⁶who “will pay back to everyone according to their works:” Psalm 62:12; Proverbs 24:12

⁷ကောင်းသောအကျင့်ကို အမြဲကျင့်၍၊ ဘုန်း အသရေကို၎င်း၊ မဖေါက်ပြန်သောဇာတိကို၎င်း၊ ရှာသော သူတို့အား ထာဝရအသက်ကို ပေးတော်မူလတံ့၊

⁷to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

⁸ငြင်းဆန်သောသဘောရှိ၍၊ သမ္မာတရားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ မတရားသဖြင့် ကျင့်သောသူတို့ကိုကား၊ ပြင်းစွာသော ဒေါသအမျက်ထွက်တော်မူလတံ့၊

⁸but to those who are self-seeking, and don’t obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, will be wrath and indignation,

⁹ရှေးဦးစွာ၌ ယုဒလူ၊ နောက်၌ဟေလသလူ၊ ဆိုးညစ်သောအမှုကို ပြုသောသူရှိသမျှတို့သည် ကြီးစွာ သော ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခဝေဒနာကို ခံရကြလတံ့၊

⁹oppression and anguish, on every soul of man who works evil, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹⁰ရှေးဦးစွာ၌ယုဒလူ၊ နောက်၌ဟေလသလူ၊ ကောင်းသော အကျင့်ကိုကျင့်သောသူရှိသမျှတို့သည် ဘုန်းအသရေချမ်းသာကို ခံစားရကြလတံ့။

¹⁰But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

¹¹ဘုရားသခင်သည် အဘယ်သူ၏မျက်နှာကို မျှမှတ်တော်မမူ။

¹¹For there is no partiality with God.

¹²ပညတ်တရားကို မသိဘဲပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားမဲ့ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့ရောက်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ပညတ်တရားကို သိလျက်ပင်ပြစ်မှားသော သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရား၏စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။

¹²For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without the law. As many as have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

¹³အကြောင်းမူကား၊ တရားနာသောသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့၌ ဖြောင့်မတ်သည်မဟုတ်။ တရားကို ကျင့်သောသူသာလျှင် ဖြောင့်မတ်ရာသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။

¹³For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

¹⁴သာသနာပလူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို မသိဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်တရားတော်ကို ကျင့်သောအခါ၊ သူတို့သည် ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို မသိဘဲ၊ ကိုယ်ကျင့်တရားကို အမှီပြုသဖြင့်၎င်း၊

¹⁴(for when Gentiles who don’t have the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are a law to themselves,

¹⁵ကိုယ်ကို ကိုယ်သိသောစိတ်နှလုံးသည် သက်သေခံသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ အချင်းချင်းဆွေးနွေးဆင်ခြင်၍ အပြစ်တင်လျက်၊ လွှတ်လျက်နေသဖြင့်၎င်း၊ မိမိတို့စိတ်နှလုံးထဲ၌ မှတ်သားသော တရား၏အကျိုးကို ထင်ရှားစွာ ပြကြ၏။

¹⁵in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying with them, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or else excusing them)

¹⁶ငါဟောပြောသော ဧဝံဂေလိတရားအတိုင်း၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့် လူတို့၏ မထင်ရှား သော အမှုအရာတို့ကို စစ်ကြော စီရင်တော်မူသောနေ့၌ ထိုသို့စီရင်တော်မူလတံ့။

¹⁶in the day when God will judge the secrets of men, according to my Good News, by Jesus Christ.

¹⁷သင်သည် ယုဒလူဟု သမုတ်ခြင်းကို ခံသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို ကိုးစားသောသူ၊ ဘုရားသခင်ကို အမှီပြု၍ ဝါကြွားသောသူ၊

¹⁷Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, and rest on the law, and glory in God,

¹⁸အလိုတော်ကိုသိသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်ကို လေ့ကျက်သဖြင့် ခြားနားသောအရာတို့ကို ပိုင်းခြားထား တတ်သောသူဖြစ်သည်နှင့်၊

¹⁸and know his will, and approve the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law,

¹⁹လူကန်းတို့အား လမ်းပြသောသူ၊ မှောင်မိုက်၌ နေသောသူတို့ကို လင်းစေသောသူ၊

¹⁹and are confident that you yourself are a guide of the blind, a light to those who are in darkness,

²⁰လူမိုက်တို့ကို ဆုံးမတတ်သောသူ၊ သူငယ်တို့ကို နည်းပေးသောသူ၊ ပညတ်တရားတော်အားဖြင့် ပညာကို ၎င်း၊ သမ္မာတရားကို၎င်းရိပ်မိသောသူဖြစ်သည်ဟူ၍၊ ကိုယ်ကိုထင်မှတ်တတ်သည်မှန်လျှင်၊

²⁰a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babies, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth.

²¹သူတပါးကိုဆုံးမလျက်ပင်ကိုယ်ကို မဆုံးမသလော။ သူ့ဥစ္စာကို မခိုးနှင့်ဟုတရားဟောလျက်ပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ခိုးသလော။

²¹You therefore who teach another, don’t you teach yourself? You who preach that a man shouldn’t steal, do you steal?

²²သူ့မယားကို မပြစ်မှားနှင့်ဟုဆိုလျက်ပင် ကိုယ်တိုင်ပြစ်မှားသလော။ ရုပ်တုကိုစက်ဆုပ်ရွံ့ရှာလျက် ပင် ဗိမာန်တော်ကို လုယူဖျက်ဆီးသလော။

²²You who say a man shouldn’t commit adultery. Do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?

²³ပညတ်တရားတော်ကိုအမှီပြု၍ ဝါကြွားလျက်ပင် ထိုတရားကို လွန်ကျူး၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ဂုဏ် အသရေတော်ကို ရှုတ်ချသလော။

²³You who glory in the law, through your disobedience of the law do you dishonor God?

²⁴အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ကျမ်းစာ၌ လာသည်နှင့်အညီ၊ တပါးအမျိုးသားတို့သည် သင်တို့အကျင့်ကို ထောက်၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏နာမတော်ကို ကဲ့ရဲ့တတ်ကြ၏။

²⁴For “the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,” Isaiah 52:5; Ezekiel 36:22 just as it is written.

²⁵သင်သည်ပညတ်တရားကို ကျင့်လျှင်၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းအားဖြင့် အကျိုးရှိ၏။ ပညတ်တရားကို လွန်ကျူးလျှင်၊ သင်၏အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းသည် အရေဖျား မလှီးဘဲဖြစ်ပြန်၏။

²⁵For circumcision indeed profits, if you are a doer of the law, but if you are a transgressor of the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.

²⁶ထိုမှတပါး၊ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူ သည်တရား၌ ပါသောပညတ်တို့ကို စောင့်ရှောက်လျှင်၊ ထိုသူ၏အရေဖျားမလှီးဘဲ အဖြစ်ကို အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်း အဖြစ်ကဲ့သို့ မှတ်ရသည်မဟုတ်လော။

²⁶If therefore the uncircumcised keep the ordinances of the law, won’t his uncircumcision be accounted as circumcision?

²⁷အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူသည်လည်း ကိုယ်အလိုအလျောက်ပညတ်တရားကို ကျင့်လျှင်၊ ကျမ်းစာနှင့်အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းရှိလျက်ပင် ပညတ်တရားကို လွန်ကျူးသောသင်ကို တရားတွေ့၍ အရှုံးခံစေမည် မဟုတ်လော။

²⁷Won’t the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfills the law, judge you, who with the letter and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?

²⁸အကြောင်းမူကား၊ အပြင်အားဖြင့်သာ ယုဒလူဖြစ်သောသူသည် ယုဒလူမှန်မဟုတ်။ အပြင်အားဖြင့်သာ ကိုယ်အသား အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းသည် အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်း အမှန် မဟုတ်။

²⁸For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh;

²⁹အတွင်းအားဖြင့် ယုဒလူဖြစ်သောသူသည် ယုဒလူမှန်၏။ အရေဖျားလှီးခြင်းလည်း ကျမ်းဟောင်း တရားအားဖြင့်မဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ဝိညာဉ်တော်တရားအားဖြင့် စိတ်နှလုံးနှင့်စပ်ဆိုင်၏။ ထိုသို့အရေးဖျားလှီးခြင်းကို ခံသောသူ၏အချီးအမွမ်းသည် လူအလိုနှင့်မဆိုင်၊ ဘုရားသခင့်အလိုတော်နှင့်ဆိုင်သတည်း။

²⁹but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
