1हे परमप्रभु, परमेश्वर, तपाईं मेरो रक्षक हुनुहुन्छ, रातदिन म तपाईंलाई प्रार्थना गरिरहेकोछु।
1O lord God of my salvation, I have cried day and night before thee:
2मेरो प्रार्थनाहरू प्रति कृपया ध्यान दिनुहोस्। कृपादानको निम्ति मेरो प्रार्थना सुनी दिनुहोस्।
2Let my prayer come before thee: incline thine ear unto my cry;
3मेरो प्राणसँग प्रशस्त त्यस्तो पीडा छँदै थियो! म चाँडै मर्ने छु।
3For my soul is full of troubles: and my life draweth nigh unto the grave.
4मानिसहरूले मलाई मृत मानिस अथवा बाँच्नु परेको एकदम कमजोर, हीन मानिस जस्तो व्यवहार गर्दछन।
4I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
5मृत मानिसहरूको माझमा मलाई खोज्नु होस्। म चिहानमा लडिरहेको मुर्दा जस्तो छु। तपाईंले भुल्नु भएका मरिसकेका मानिसहरू माझ म एक हुँ। तपाईंबाट अलग्ग र हेलचेक्राईं भयो। सेला
5Free among the dead, like the slain that lie in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more: and they are cut off from thy hand.
6तपाईंले मलाई धर्तीको त्यो प्वालमा राख्नु भयो। हो तपाईंले मलाई त्यस्तो अन्धकार ठाउँमा राख्नु भयो।
6Thou hast laid me in the lowest pit, in darkness, in the deeps.
7परमेश्वर, तपाईं मसँग रिसाउनु भएको थियो, अनि मलाई सजाय दिनुभयो।
7Thy wrath lieth hard upon me, and thou hast afflicted me with all thy waves. Selah.
8मेरो साथीहरूले मलाई छाडी गए। सबैले मलाई अछुत व्यक्ति जस्तो छि-छि, दूर-दूर ब्यहावार गरे। म त्यस घरमा बन्द थिएँ अनि बाहिर जान सक्तिनथिएँ।
8Thou hast put away mine acquaintance far from me; thou hast made me an abomination unto them: I am shut up, and I cannot come forth.
9मेरा आँखाहरू मेरो सम्पूर्ण दुःखहरूमा रूदाँ-रूदाँ पोल्न थालिसक्यो। हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंलाई अटूट प्रार्थना गर्छु मेरो पाखुराहरू तपाईं प्रति प्रार्थनामा उठ्छन्।
9Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.
10हे परमप्रभु, के मृत मानिसहरूका लागि तपाईं आर्श्चय काम रच्नुहुन्छ? के भूतहरूमाथि उठ्छन् र तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्छन्? अँहँ गर्दैनन्।
10Wilt thou shew wonders to the dead? shall the dead arise and praise thee? Selah.
11चिहानभित्र भएका मृत मानिसहरूले तपाईंको प्रेम बारे कुरा गर्न सक्ने छैनन्। मृत मानिसहरूले मृतकहरूको संसारमा तपाईंको विश्वासको विषयमा भन्न सक्ने छैनन्।
11Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?
12मृत मानिसहरू अंन्धकारमा लडिरहेका हुन्छन्, तपाईंले गर्नु भएका अचम्मका कुराहरू देख्न सक्तैनन्। मृत मानिसहरूले बिर्सिएको संसारमा तपाईंको धार्मिकताको कुरा गर्न सक्तैनन्।
12Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको सहायताको निम्ति प्रार्थना गरिरहेको छु। प्रत्येक प्रातःकालमा म तपाईंमा प्रार्थना गर्दछु।
13But unto thee have I cried, O LORD; and in the morning shall my prayer prevent thee.
14हे परमप्रभु, किन तपाईंले मलाई त्यागनु भयो? किन मेरो कुरा सुन्न अस्वीकार गर्नुहुन्छ?
14LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me?
15युवा अवस्थादेखि नै म कमजोर र रोगी थिएँ। मैले तपाईंको क्रोध सहें, म असहाय छु।
15I am afflicted and ready to die from my youth up: while I suffer thy terrors I am distracted.
16हे परप्रभु, तपाईं मसँग रिसाउनु भएको छ, अनि सजायले मलाई मार्दै छ।
16Thy fierce wrath goeth over me; thy terrors have cut me off.
17दुःखाई र पीडाहरू सधैं मसँग छन् म ती दुःखाई र पीडाहरूमा डुलीरहेको अनुभव गर्दछु।
17They came round about me daily like water; they compassed me about together.
18हे परमप्रभु, मेरा सारा मित्रहरू र प्रेमीहरू त्याग्नु मलाई वाध्य गराउनु भयो। खाली अन्धकार मात्र मसँग रहेको छ।
18Lover and friend hast thou put far from me, and mine acquaintance into darkness.
