¹परमप्रभुको वचन मकहाँ आयो, उहाँले भन्नुभयो,

¹And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

²“हे मानिसको छोरो, टायरको राजालाई भन, ‘परमप्रभु मेरो मालिक यसो भन्नुहुन्छ तिमी धेरै घमण्डी छौ। अनि तिमी भन्छौ, “म एउटा देवता हुँ। म समुद्रको माझमा देवताहरूको आसनमाथि बस्छु।” तर तिमी एउटा मानिस मात्र हौ, परमेश्वर होइनौ। तिमी आफैंलाई एक देवता जतिकै सम्झन्छौ।

²`Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart hath been high, And thou dost say: A god I [am], The habitation of God I have inhabited, In the heart of the seas, And thou [art] man, and not God, And thou givest out thy heart as the heart of God,

³तिमी सोच्छौ कि तिमी दानियल भन्दा बुद्धिमान छौ! तिमी सम्झन्छौ कि तिमीले सारा रहस्यहरू जानेकाछौ।

³Lo, thou [art] wiser than Daniel, No hidden thing have they concealed from thee.

⁴आफ्नो बुद्धि र ज्ञानबाट तिमीले सम्पत्ति कमायौं अनि तिमीले आफ्नो भण्डारमा सुन-चाँदी राख्यौं।

⁴By thy wisdom and by thine understanding Thou hast made for thee wealth, And makest gold and silver in thy treasuries.

⁵आफ्नो तीव्र बुद्धि अनि व्यापारले गर्दा तिमीले सम्पत्ति बढायौं अनि त्यो सम्पत्तिले गर्दा तिमी घमण्डी भयौं।

⁵By the abundance of thy wisdom, Through thy merchandise, Thou hast multiplied thy wealth, And high is thy heart through thy wealth.

⁶यसकारण परमप्रभु मेरो मालिक भन्नुहुन्छ टायर, तिमीले सोच्यौं तिमी देवता जस्तै हौ।

⁶Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of thy giving out thy heart as the heart of God,

⁷म विदेशीहरूलाई तिम्रो विरूद्धमा युद्ध गर्न लगाउँछु। तिनीहरू देश माझमा धेरै डरलाग्दा छन्, तिनीहरूले आफ्नो तरवार बाहिर निकाल्नेछन् अनि ती सुन्दर चीजहरूको विरूद्धमा चलाउनेछन् जुन तिमीले आफ्नो बुद्धिले कमायौं। तिनीहरूले तिम्रो गौरवलाई ध्वंश गरिदिनेछ।

⁷Therefore, lo, I am bringing in against thee strangers, The terrible of the nations, And they have drawn out their swords Against the beauty of thy wisdom, And they have pierced thy brightness.

⁸तिनीहरूले तिमीलाई तल चिहानमा पुर्याउनेछन्। तिमी त्यो व्यापारी जस्तै हुनेछौ जो समुद्रमा मर्यो।

⁸To destruction they bring thee down, Thou diest by the deaths of the wounded, in the heart of the seas.

⁹त्यो मानिसले तिमीलाई मार्नेछ। के अहिले सम्म तिमी भन्छौ, “म देवता हुँ?” त्यससमय उसले तिमीलाई आफ्नो अधिकारमा लिनेछ। त्यस समय तिमीले सम्झनेछौं कि तिमी मानिस मात्र हौं, परमेश्वर होइनौ।

⁹Dost thou really say, `I [am] God,` Before him who is slaying thee? And thou [art] man, and not God, In the hand of him who is piercing thee.

¹⁰तिमी परदेशीहरूको हातमा बेखतनाको मानिस झैं मर्नेछौ। यो हुने नै छ किनभने मैले यस्तो भनेकोछु।”‘ परमप्रभु मेरो मालिकले यी सब भन्नुभयो।

¹⁰The deaths of the uncircumcised thou diest, By the hand of strangers, for I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.`

¹¹परमप्रभु मेरो मालिकको वचन मलाई प्राप्त भयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो,

¹¹And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

¹²“हे मानिसको छोरो, टायरको राजाको विषयमा दुखपूर्ण गीत गाऊ। उसलाई भन, ‘मेरो स्वामी परमप्रभु मेरो मालिक यसो भन्नुहुन्छ तिमी आदर्शवाद मानिस थियौं, तिमी बुद्धिले परिपूर्ण थियौं, तिमी पूर्णत सुन्दर थियौ।

¹²`Son of man, lift up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, And thou hast said to him: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Thou art sealing up a measurement, Full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

¹³तिमी अदनमा थियौं, परमेश्वरको बगैंचामा तिमीसँग प्रत्येक बहुमूल्य रत्न थियो, माणिक, लालमणि, पुष्पराज, पन्ना, पीनमणि, हीरा, फिरोजा, गोमेद, आनिकस अनि जस्पर नीलम, हरितमणि अनि नीलामणि अनि हेरक रत्नमा सुन जडिएको थियो। तिनीहरूलाई यो सुन्दरता दिएको थियो जुन दिन तिम्रो सृजना गरिएको थियो, तिनीहरू तिम्रो लागि तयार गरिए। परमेश्वरले तिमीलाई बलियो बनाउनुभएको थियो।

¹³In Eden, the garden of God, thou hast been, Every precious stone thy covering, Ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, and gold, The workmanship of thy tabrets, and of thy pipes, In thee in the day of thy being produced, have been prepared.

¹⁴तिमी चुनिएका करूब स्वर्गदूत थियौं। तिम्रो पखेटा मेरो सिंहासन सम्म फैलिएको थियो अनि मैले तिमीलाई परमेश्वरको पवित्र पर्वतमा राखें। तिमी त्यो रत्नको बीचमा हिँड्‌यौ जुन आगो जस्तै दन्किरहेको थियो।

¹⁴Thou [art] an anointed cherub who is covering, And I have set thee in the holy mount, God thou hast been, In the midst of stones of fire thou hast walked up and down.

¹⁵तिमी असल अनि ईमान्दार थियौं जब मैले तिमीलाई बनाएँ। तर त्यसपछि तिमीमा दुष्ट कुरो पाइयो।

¹⁵Perfect [art] thou in thy ways, From the day of thy being produced, Till perversity hath been found in thee.

¹⁶तिम्रो व्यापारले तिमीकहाँ धेरै सम्पत्ति ल्यायो तर त्यसले तिमीभित्र क्रुरता उत्पन्न गरायो अनि तिमीले पाप गर्यौं। यसकारण मैले तिमीसँग यस्तो व्यवहार गरें, मानौं तिमी अपवित्र चीज हौ। मैले तिमीलाई परमेश्वरको पर्वतमा फ्याँकिदिएँ। तिमी विशेष करूब स्वर्गदूतहरू मध्ये एक थियौ तिम्रो पखेटा मेरो सिंहासनमा फैलिएको थियो, तर मैले तिमीलाई आगो जस्तो चम्किने रत्नहरू छोड्न बाध्य गराएँ।

¹⁶By the abundance of thy merchandise They have filled thy midst with violence, And thou dost sin, And I thrust thee from the mount of God, And I destroy thee, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.

¹⁷तिमी आफ्नो सुन्दरताको कारण घमण्डी भयौं, तिम्रो घमण्डले तिम्रो बुद्धि नष्ट पार्यो, यसैकारण मैले तिमीलाई तल जमीनमा ल्याएँ अनि राजाहरूको अघि फ्याँकें ताकि तिनीहरू तिम्रो विनाश देख्न सकुन्।

¹⁷High hath been thy heart, because of thy beauty, Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom because of thy brightness, On the earth I have cast thee, Before kings I have set thee, to look on thee,

¹⁸तिमीले धेरै नराम्रो काम गर्यौ, तिमी अत्यन्तै कपटी व्यापारी थियौ। यसप्रकारले तिमीले पवित्र स्थानहरू अपवित्र बनायौ, यसैकारण मैले तिमीभित्र आगो ल्याई दिए, यसकारण तिमीलाई जलायो अनि तिमी जमीनमा खरानी भयौं। अब प्रत्येकले तिम्रो लाज देख्नेछन्।

¹⁸From the abundance of thy iniquity, By the perversity of thy traffic, Thou hast polluted thy sanctuaries, And I bring forth fire from thy midst, It hath devoured thee, And I make thee become ashes on the earth, Before the eyes of all beholding thee.

¹⁹अरू देशको सबै मानिसहरू, तिमीमाथि जे घट्यो, त्यसको लागि शोक ग्रस्त थिए। तिमीमाथि जे घट्यो त्यो देखेर मानिसहरू भयभीत भए। तिमी अन्त भयौ।”‘

¹⁹All knowing thee among the peoples Have been astonished at thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not — to the age.`

²⁰परमप्रभुको वचन मलाई प्राप्त भयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो,

²⁰And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

²¹“हे मानिसको छोरो, सीदोनमाथि ध्यान देऊ, अनि त्यस ठाँउको विरूद्धमा मेरो लागि केही भन।

²¹`Son of man, set thy face unto Zidon, and prophesy concerning it;

²²भन, ‘परमप्रभु मेरो मालिक यसो भन्नुहुन्छ सीदोन म तिम्रो विरूद्धमा छु। तिम्रा मानिसहरूले मलाई सम्मान गर्न सिक्नेछन्, म सीदोनलाई दण्ड दिन्छु, त्यसपछि मानिसहरूले सम्झने छन् कि म नै परमप्रभु हुँ। त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले सम्झनेछन् कि म पवित्र छु। अनि मलाई तिनीहरूले त्यो रूपमा लिनेछन्।

²²and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against thee, O Zidon, And I have been honoured in thy midst, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah, In My doing in her judgments, And I have been sanctified in her.

²³म सीदोनमा रोग अनि मृत्यु पठाउँछु, शहरहरूको बाहिर तरवारले त्यो मृत्यु ल्याउँनेछ। त्यसपछि उसले सम्झनेछ कि म परमप्रभु हुँ।”‘

²³And I have sent into her pestilence, And blood into her out-places, The wounded hath been judged in her midst, By the sword upon her round about, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.

²⁴“‘अतीत कालमा, इस्राएललाई त्यसको चारैतिरका देशहरूले घृणा गर्थे। अब उसो तिनीहरूको वरीपरीका सबै देशहरूबाट कष्ट दिनलाई कुनै तीखा काँढाहरू अथवा सिउँडी रहने छैन। त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले जान्नेछन् म मात्र परमप्रभु तिनीहरूको मालिक हुँ।”

²⁴And there is no more to the house of Israel A pricking brier, and paining thorn, Of all round about them — despising them, And they have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.

²⁵परमप्रभु मेरा मालिक यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “म इस्राएल परिवारलाई जो अन्य राष्ट्रहरूमा तितर-बितर भएकाछन् म तिनीहरूलाई भेला पार्नेछु। अनि ती राष्ट्रहरूले देख्नेछन् कि म पवित्र हुँ। त्यस समय इस्राएलका मानिसहरू त्यो देशमा बस्नेछन् जुन देश मेरो दास याकूबलाई दिएँ।

²⁵Thus said the Lord Jehovah: In My gathering the house of Israel, Out of the peoples among whom they were scattered, I have been sanctified in them, Before the eyes of the nations, And they have dwelt on their ground, That I gave to My servant, to Jacob,

²⁶तिनीहरू त्यो देशमा सुरक्षित रहनेछन्। तिनीहरूले घर बनाउँनेछन् अनि दाखको बोट लगाउनेछन्। म त्यसको चारैतिरको राष्ट्रहरूलाई दण्ड दिन्छु जसले तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गरे। त्यसपछि इस्राएलका मानिसहरू सुरक्षित रहनेछन्। अनि तिनीहरूले सम्झनेछन् कि म नै परमप्रभु तिनीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ।”

²⁶And they have dwelt on it confidently, And builded houses, and planted vineyards, And dwelt confidently — in My doing judgments, On all those despising them round about, And they have known that I, Jehovah, [am] their God!`
