1परमेश्वरले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “हे मानिसको छोरो! जुन तिमीले देख्दै छौ, त्यो खाऊ। यो बेहेरिएको पत्र खाऊ अनि गएर इस्राएलका परिवारहरूलाई यी कुराहरू भन।”
1And He saith unto me, `Son of man, that which thou findest eat, eat this roll, and go, speak unto the house of Israel.`
2यसकारण मैले मेरो मुख खोलें अनि उहाँले त्यो बेहेरिएको पत्र मेरो मुखमा राखिदिनु भयो।
2And I open my mouth, and He causeth me to eat this roll.
3तब परमेश्वरले भन्नुभयो, “हे मानिसको छोरा! म तिमीलाई यो बेहेरिएको पत्र दिँदैछु। यसलाई निल! यो बेहेरिएको पत्र तिम्रो शरीरमा भरियोस्।” यसकारण मैले त्यो बेहेरिएको पत्र खाँए। त्यो मेरो मुखमा मह जस्तै मीठो भयो।
3And He saith unto me, `Son of man, thy belly thou dost feed, and thy bowels thou dost fill with this roll that I am giving unto thee;` and I eat it, and it is in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
4तब परमेश्वरले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “हे मानिसको छोरा! इस्राएलको परिवारमा जाऊ। मैले भनेको कुराहरू तिनीहरूलाई भन।
4And He saith unto me, `Son of man, go, enter in unto the house of Israel, and thou hast spoken with My words unto them.
5मैले तिमीलाई कतै विदेशहरू पठाएको होइन, जसको भाषा तिमी बुझ्दैनौ। तिमीले अर्को भाषा सिक्नु पर्नेछैन। मैले तिमीलाई इस्राएलको परिवारकहाँ पठाउँदैछु।
5For, not unto a people deep of lip and heavy of tongue [art] thou sent — unto the house of Israel;
6मैले तिमीलाई विभिन्न देशहरूमा पठाएको होइन जहाँका मानिसहरू यस्तो भाषाहरू बोल्छन् जुन तिमीले बुझ्दैनौं। यदि तिमी तिनीहरूकहाँ गई कुरा गर्छौ तब तिनीहरूले तिम्रो कुरा सुन्नेछन्।
6not unto many peoples, deep of lip and heavy of tongue, whose words thou dost not understand. If I had not sent thee unto them — they, they do hearken unto thee,
7अहँ! मैले तिमीलाई इस्राएलको परिवारकहाँ पठाउँदैछु। किनकि इस्राएलका सारा घराना नै अट्टेरी, ढीठ र कठोर मनका छन् अनि इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले तिम्रो कुरा सुन्न इच्छा गर्ने छैनन्। तिनीहरूले मेरो कुरा सुन्ने छैनन्।
7but the house of Israel are not willing to hearken unto thee, for they are not willing to hearken unto Me, for all the house of Israel are brazen-faced and strong-hearted.
8तर म तिमीलाई त्यति नै हठी बनाउनेछु जति तिनीहरू छन्। उनीहरूको जस्तै तिम्रो हृदय त्यति नै कठोर हुनेछ।
8`Lo, I have made thy face strong against their face, and thy forehead strong against their forehead.
9हीरा, अग्नि चट्टान भन्दा पनि कडा हुन्छ, त्यस्तै प्रकारले तिम्रो हृदय पनि उनीहरूको भन्दा कठोर हुन्छ, तिमी उनीहरू भन्दा पनि हठी हुनेछौ, तिमी उनीहरूसँग डराउनेछैनौ। तिमी उनीहरूसँग नडराऊ जो सधैं मेरो विरूद्धमा गएका छन्।”
9As an adamant harder than a rock I have made thy forehead; thou dost not fear them, nor art thou affrighted before them, for a rebellious house [are] they.`
10तब परमेश्वरले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “हे मानिसको छोरा! तिमीले मेरो प्रत्येक कुरा जुन म भन्दैछु सुन्नु पर्छ अनि ती कुराहरू याद राख्नु पर्छ।
10And He saith unto me, `Son of man, all My words, that I speak unto thee, receive with thy heart, and with thine ears hear;
11तब सबै तिम्रा मानिसहरू कहाँ जाऊ , जो कैदमा छन्। तिनीहरू कहाँ जाऊ अनि भन, ‘परमप्रभु हाम्रा मालिकले यी कुराहरू भन्नुहुन्छ।’ वास्ता नगर्नेहरूलाई यी कुराहरू भन चाहे तिनीहरूले सुन्छ अथवा सुन्दैनन्।”
11and go, enter in unto the Removed, unto the sons of thy people, and thou hast spoken unto them, and hast said unto them: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: whether they hear, or whether they forbear.`
12तब मलाई एउटा हावाले माथि उठायो। तब मैले आफ्नो पछाडीबाट एउटा आवाज सुनें। यो आवाज मेघको गर्जन जस्तो थियो। त्यसले भन्यो, “परमप्रभुको महिमा धन्य छ जहाँ कहीं यो जान्छ।”
12And lift me up doth a spirit, and I hear behind me a noise, a great rushing — `Blessed [is] the honour of Jehovah from His place!` —
13अब ती प्राणीहरूले तिनीहरूको पंखेटा हल्याउन शुरू गरे। जब पंखेटाहरूले एक-अर्कालाई छुन्थे, अनि पाङ्ग्राहरू तिनीहरू तर्फ सर्थे, तिनीहरूले मेघ गर्जे झैं आवाज निकाल्थे।
13even a noise of the wings of the living creatures touching one another, and a noise of the wheels over-against them, even a noise of a great rushing.
14आत्माले मलाई उठाएर माथि टाढो लग्यो। मैले त्यो स्थान छोडे। म साह्रै दुखी थिएँ अनि मेरो आत्मा अत्यन्त खिन्न थियो, तर परमप्रभुको शक्ति म भित्र अत्यन्त प्रबल थियो।
14And a spirit hath lifted me up, and doth take me away, and I go bitterly, in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of Jehovah on me [is] strong.
15म ती कैदीहरू भए कहाँ गएँ जो कबार नदीको तेलाबीबमा बस्दै थिए। म त्यहाँ सात दिन सम्म तिनीहरूको बीचमा छक्क अनि खिन्न भएर बसिरहें।
15And I come in unto the Removed, at Tel-Ahib, who are dwelling at the river Chebar, and where they are dwelling I also dwell seven days, causing astonishment in their midst.
16सात दिन पछि परमप्रभुको वचन मकहाँ आयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो,
16And it cometh to pass, at the end of seven days,
17“हे मानिसको छोरो! म तिमीलाई इस्राएलको प्रहरी बनाउँदैछु। म ती सबै नराम्रो घटनाहरू बताउनेछु जुन उनीहरूमाथि घट्नेछ, अनि तिमीले इस्राएलको ती घटनाहरूको बारेमा चेताउनी दिनुपर्नेछ।
17that there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, `Son of man, a watchman I have given thee to the house of Israel, and thou hast heard from My mouth a word, and hast warned them from Me.
18यदि मैले, ‘यो नराम्रो मानिस मर्नेछ भनें।’ भनें तिमीले त्यो चेताउनी पनि उसलाई दिनुपर्छ। तिमीले उसलाई भन्नु पर्छ, आफ्नो जिन्दगी बद्ली गर अनि नराम्रो काम गर्न छोड। यदि तिमीले त्यो मानिसलाई चेताउनी दिएनौं भने त्यो मर्नेछ। किनकि त्यसले पाप गरेको छ। तर म तिमीलाई त्यसको मृत्युको उत्तरदायी बनाउँछु। किन? किनकि तिमी त्यसकहाँ गएनौ अनि त्यसको जीवन बचाएनौ।
18In My saying to the wicked: Thou dost surely die; and thou hast not warned him, nor hast spoken to warn the wicked from his wicked way, so that he doth live; he — the wicked — in his iniquity dieth, and his blood from thy hand I require.
19“यो पनि हुन सक्छ तिमीले कुनै मानिसलाई चेताउनी दियौ, त्यसलाई त्यसको जीवन मार्ग बद्ली गर्नका निम्ति सम्झायौ अनि नराम्रो काम नगर्नु भन्यौ। यदि त्यसले तिम्रो कुरा सुनेन भने त्यो मर्नेछ। त्यो मर्नेछ किनकि त्यसले पाप गरेको छ। तर तिमीले उसलाई चेताउनी दियौ यसकारण तिमीले आफ्नो जीवन बचायौ।
19And thou, because thou hast warned the wicked, and he hath not turned back from his wickedness, and from his wicked way, he in his iniquity dieth, and thou thy soul hast delivered.
20“यो पनि हुन सक्छ कि कुनै राम्रो मानिस राम्रो भइरहनु छोड्छ। किनभने मैले त्यसको पछि केही यस्तो राखेकोछु जसले त्यसलाई पाप गर्न लगाउँछ। त्यसले नराम्रो काम गर्न शुरू गर्छ यसकारण त्यो मर्नेछ। उसले गरेको असल कर्महरू उसको पक्षमा सम्झना गरिनेछैन। त्यो मर्नेछ किनभने त्यसले पाप गर्यो र तिमीले उसलाई चेताउनी दिएनौ। म तिमीलाई उसको मृत्युको उत्तरदायी सम्झनेछु।
20`And in the turning back of the righteous from his righteousness, and he hath done perversity, and I have put a stumbling-block before him, he dieth; because thou hast not warned him, in his sin he dieth, and not remembered is his righteousness that he hath done, and his blood from thy hand I require.
21“तर यदि तिमीले त्यो राम्रो मानिसलाई चेताउनी दियौ अनि त्यसलाई पाप गर्न बन्द गर्नु भन्यौ अनि त्यसले पाप गर्न बन्द गर्यो भने त्यो मानिस मर्नेछैन। किन? किनभने तिमीले उसलाई चेताउनी दियौं अनि उसले सुन्यो। यस प्रकारले तिमीले आफ्नो जीवन बचायौ।”
21And thou, because thou hast warned him — the righteous — that the righteous sin not, and he hath not sinned, he surely liveth, because he hath been warned; and thou thy soul hast delivered.`
22तब परमप्रभुको शक्ति मकहाँ आयो। उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “उठ, अनि बेंसीमा जाऊ। म तिमीसित त्यहाँ कुरा गर्नेछु।”
22And there is on me there a hand of Jehovah, and He saith to me, `Rise, go forth to the valley, and there I do speak with thee.`
23यसकारण म उठें अनि बेंसीमा गएँ। परमप्रभुको महिमा त्यहाँ त्यसरी नै प्रकट भयो जस्तो मैले कबार नदीको किनारमा देखेको थिएँ। यसकारण मैले मेरो अनुहार भूइँतिर निहुराएँ।
23And I rise and go forth unto the valley, and lo, there the honour of Jehovah is standing as the honour that I had seen by the river Chebar, and I fall on my face.
24तर एउटा हावा आयो अनि यसले मलाई मेरो खुट्टामा उभ्यायो परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “घर जाऊ, अनि आफैं घरभित्र ढोका थुनेर बस।
24And come into me doth a spirit, and causeth me to stand on my feet, and He speaketh with me, and saith unto me, `Go in, be shut up in the midst of thy house.
25हे मानिसको छोरा! मानिसहरू डोरी लिएर आउनेछन् अनि तिमीलाई बाँध्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले तिमीलाई बाहिरका अरू मानिस भएकोमा जान दिनेछैनन्।
25`And thou, son of man, lo, they have put on thee thick bands, and have bound thee with them, and thou goest not forth in their midst;
26म तिम्रो जिब्रो तिम्रो तालुमा टँसाई दिनेछु। तिमीले बात गर्न सक्नेछैनौ। यसकारण तिनीहरूले कोही मानिसलाई पनि यस्तो भेट्टाउने छैनन् जसले तिनीहरूलाई शिक्षा दिन सकोस् कि तिनीहरूले पाप गरिरहेका छन्। किन? किनकि तिनीहरू सँधै मेरो विरूद्धमा गइरहेका छन्।
26and thy tongue I cause to cleave unto thy palate, and thou hast been dumb, and art not to them for a reprover, for a rebellious house [are] they.
27तर जब म तिमीसित कुरा गर्छु त्यसबेला तिमीलाई म बोल्ने बनाउँनेछु। तर तिमीले भन्नु पर्छ, ‘परमप्रभु हाम्रा मालिकले यी कुराहरू भन्नु हुन्छ।’ यदि कसैले सुन्न चाहन्छ भने उसले सुनोस्। यदि होइन भने, मलाई तिरस्कार गरोस्। किनभने तिनीहरू विध्वंशकारीहरू हुन्।
27And in My speaking with thee, I do open thy mouth, and thou hast said unto them: Thus said the Lord Jehovah; the hearer doth hear, and the forbearer doth forbear; for a rebellious house [are] they.
