¹हे परमप्रभु, मेरो वचनहरू सुन्नुहोस् र बुझ्नुहोस् मैले के भन्न खोजिरहेको छु।

¹To the Overseer, `Concerning the Inheritances.` — A Psalm of David. My sayings hear, O Jehovah, Consider my meditation.

²हे मेरा राजा, हे मेरा परमेश्वर, मेरो प्रार्थना सुनिदिनु होस्।

²Be attentive to the voice of my cry, My king and my God, For unto Thee I pray habitually.

³हे परमप्रभु, प्रत्येक बिहान, म आफ्ना उपहारहरू तपाईंको समक्ष राख्दछु, र तपाईंको सहयोग खोज्दछु। अनि प्रत्येक बिहान तपाईंले मेरो प्रार्थना सुन्नुहुन्छ।

³Jehovah, [at] morning Thou hearest my voice, [At] morning I set in array for Thee, And I look out.

⁴हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंको नजिक दुष्ट मानिसहरू भएको तपाईं मन पराउनु हुन्न। तिनीहरू तपाईंको आदर गर्दैनन्।

⁴For not a God desiring wickedness [art] Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.

⁵मूर्खहरू तपाईंको नजिकै आउन सक्तैनन्। तपाईंले अधर्मी काम गर्नेहरूलाई घृणा गर्नुहुन्छ।

⁵The boastful station not themselves before Thine eyes: Thou hast hated all working iniquity.

⁶जसले झूटो बोल्दछ त्यसलाई नष्ट गर्नुहुन्छ। तपाईंले ती मानिसलरूलाई घृणा गर्नुहुन्छ जसले अन्य मानिसहरूलाई चोट पुर्याउने गुप्त योजनाहरू बनाउँ छन्।

⁶Thou destroyest those speaking lies, A man of blood and deceit Jehovah doth abominate.

⁷तर परमप्रभु, तपाईंको मन्दिरअघि म दण्डवत् गर्नेछु।

⁷And I, in the abundance of Thy kindness, I enter Thy house, I bow myself toward Thy holy temple in Thy fear.

⁸हे परमप्रभु! मेरा शत्रुहरूले कतै म गल्ती गर्छु कि भनी हेरिरहेकाछन्। यसकारण मलाई ठीक काम गर्न सजिलो पारिदिनु होस्।

⁸O Jehovah, lead me in Thy righteousness, Because of those observing me, Make straight before me Thy way,

⁹ती मानिसहरू सत्य बोल्दैनन्। तिनीहरू झूटा छन् तिनीहरू सत्य बङ्ग्याउँछन्। तिनीहरूका मुख खाली चिहान जस्ता छन्। तिनीहरू अरूहरूलाई फसाउनको लागि मात्र मिठो बोल्दछन्।

⁹For there is no stability in their mouth. Their heart [is] mischiefs, An open grave [is] their throat, Their tongue they make smooth.

¹⁰हे परमेश्वर, तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनुहोस्! तिनीहरूले थापेको पासोमा आफैं परून्। ती मानिसहरूले तपाईंको विरूद्धमा विद्रोह गरे, यसर्थ तिनीहरूको धेरै अपराधहरूको लागि दण्ड दिनुहोस्।

¹⁰Declare them guilty, O God, Let them fall from their own counsels, In the abundance of their transgressions Drive them away, Because they have rebelled against Thee.

¹¹तर जसले तपाईंमाथि भरोसा राख्दछन् तिनीहरू सुखी रहुन्। तिनीहरू अनन्त सुखी रहुन्! परमेश्वर, जसले तपाईंको नाउँलाई प्रेम गर्दछन् तिनीहरूको रक्षा गर्नुहोस् अनि शक्ति दिनुहोस्।

¹¹And rejoice do all trusting in Thee, To the age they sing, and Thou coverest them over, And those loving Thy name exult in Thee.

¹²हे परमप्रभु, धार्मिक मानिसहरूलाई तपाईंले आशीर्वाद दिनुहुन्छ। तिनीहरू प्रति तपाईंको दया तिनीहरूको निम्ति ढाल झैं छ।

¹²For Thou blessest the righteous, O Jehovah, As a buckler with favour dost compass him!
