¹केवल मूर्खहरूले मात्र परमेश्वर छैन भनेर सोच्दछन्। त्यस्ता मानिसहरू भ्रष्ट, दुष्ट, धूर्त हुन्छन्, अनि तिनीहरूले कहिल्यै राम्रो काम गर्दैनन्।

¹To the Overseer. — `On a disease.` — An instruction, by David. A fool said in his heart, `There is no God.` They have done corruptly, Yea, they have done abominable iniquity, There is none doing good.

²त्यहाँ साँच्चै नै परमेश्वर हामी तर्फ नै स्वर्गबाट हेरिरहनु भएको छ। परमेश्वरले ज्ञानी पुरूषहरूलाई खोजिरहनु भएको छ, जसले परमेश्वरलाई नै खोजिरहेछन्!

²God from the heavens looked on the sons of men, To see if there be an understanding one, [One] seeking God.

³तर प्रत्येक जन परमेश्वर देखि विमुख भएका छन्। प्रत्येक मानिस कपटी छन्। कसैले पनि राम्रो काम गर्दैन। एकजना पनि राम्रो काम गर्ने मानिस छैन!

³Every one went back, together they became filthy, There is none doing good — not even one.

⁴परमेश्वर भन्नुहुन्छ, “निःसन्देह ती दुष्ट मानिसहरूले सत्य जान्दछन्। तिनीहरूले मलाई प्रार्थना गर्दैनन्। दुष्ट मानिसहरू मेरो भक्तजनहरूलाई ध्वंश पार्न उनीहरूको खाना खान जतिकै तयार छन्।”

⁴Have not workers of iniquity known, Those eating my people have eaten bread, God they have not called.

⁵तर ती दुष्ट मानिसहरू भयग्रस्त हुनेछन् त्यस्तो पहिले किहल्यै भएका-थिएनन्! ती पापीहरू इस्राएल का शत्रुहरू हुन्। परमेश्वरले त्यस्ता पापीहरूलाई रद्ध गर्नु भएको छ। यसैले परमेश्वरका मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूलाई परास्त पार्नेछन्, अनि परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूको हाडहरू छिन्न-भिन्न पारिदिनु हुनेछ।

⁵There they feared a fear — there was no fear, For God hath scattered the bones of him Who is encamping against thee, Thou hast put to shame, For God hath despised them.

⁶म इच्छा गर्छु परमेश्वरले सियोन पर्वतमाथि इस्राएल को निम्ति विजय ल्याउनु हुनेछ। त्यही बेला परमेश्वरले आफ्ना भक्तजनहरूलाई निर्वासनबाट फर्काई ल्याउनु हुनेछ। याकूब प्रफुल्लित हुनेछ। इस्राएल आनन्दले ओतप्रोत हुनेछ।

⁶Who doth give from Zion the salvation of Israel? When God turneth back [to] a captivity of His people, Jacob doth rejoice — Israel is glad!
