1लेवी कुल समूहका शासकहरू पूजाहारी एलाजार, नूनका छोरा यहोशू अनि इस्राएलका अन्य कुल समूहका शासकहरूसित बात गर्न गए।
1Then the chief fathers of the Levites drew near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2यो कुरा कनानको भूमिको शीलो शहरमा भयो। लेवी अगुवाहरूले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “हामीहरूलाई बस्नका निम्ति शहरहरू दिनु भनी मोशाद्वारा परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई आदेश दिएका थिए। अनि उहाँले हामीलाई खेतहरू पनि दिनु जहाँ हाम्रा पशुहरू चर्छन्, भनी तपाईंलाई आदेश दिनु भएको थियो।”
2and they spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, Jehovah commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for our cattle.
3यसर्थ इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको यो आदेशको पालन गरे। तिनीहरूले लेवी मानिसहरूलाई यी शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति ती वरिपरिका भूमि दिए।
3And the children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the word of Jehovah, these cities and their suburbs.
4कहातीको कुल, लेवीको वंश समूहका पूजाहारी हारूनका वंशजहरू थिए। कहाती वंशका अंशलाई तेह्र शहरहरू दिइए जो यहूदा, शिमोन अनि बिन्यामीनका इलाका भित्र थिए।
4And the lot came forth for the families of the Kohathites. And the children of Aaron the priest, of the Levites, had by lot out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities.
5अन्य कहाती कुलहरूलाई दश शहरहरू दिइए जो एप्रैम, दान अनि आधा मनश्शेका इलाका भित्र थिए।
5And the children of Kohath that remained had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities.
6गेर्शोन कुलका मानिसहरूलाई तेह्र शहरहरू प्रदान गरिए। यी शहरहरू ती इलाकामा थिए जो इस्साकार, आशेर, नप्ताली अनि बाशानमा भएको आधा मनश्शेका थिए।
6And the children of Gershon had by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
7मरारी कुलका मानिसहरूलाई बाह्र शहरहरू दिइए। यी बाह्र शहरहरू रूबेन, गाद अनि जबूलूनका इलाकाबाट आएका थिए।
7The children of Merari according to their families had by lot out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8यसरी इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले लेवी मानिसहरूलाई यी शहरहरू अनि ती वरिपरिका खेतहरू दिए जसरी परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नु भएको थियो।
8And the children of Israel gave by lot to the Levites these cities and their suburbs, as Jehovah commanded through Moses.
9यी नाउँहरू ती शहरहरूका हुन् जो यहूदा अनि शिमोनको इलाकामा थिए।
9And they gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which were mentioned by name,
10कहात कुलबाट शहरहरू पहिला लेवीहरूलाई प्रदान गरियो।
10and which the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, of the children of Levi had (for theirs was the first lot);
11लेवीहरूलाई तिनीहरूले दिए किर्यत-अर्बा (यो हेब्रोन हो। यसको नाउँ अर्बानामको मानिसको नाउँबाट राखिएको थियो। अर्बा अनाकका पिता थिए।) तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति पनि कहातीहरूले शहर छेऊका केही भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिए।
11and they gave them Kirjath-Arba, [which Arba was] the father of Anak, that is, Hebron, in the mountain of Judah, with its suburbs round about it.
12तर किर्यतर्बा शहर वरिपरिका खेत अनि समाना शहरहरू यपुन्नेका छोरा कालेबका थिए।
12But the fields of the city and the hamlets thereof gave they to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his possession.
13यसर्थ तिनीहरूले हेब्रोन शहर हारूनका वंशलाई दिए (हेब्रोन शरणस्थान-शहर थियो।) हारूनका सन्तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूले लिब्ना,
13And they gave to the children of Aaron the priest the city of refuge for the slayer, Hebron and its suburbs; and Libnah and its suburbs,
14यत्तीर, एश्तमो,
14and Jattir and its suburbs, and Eshtemoa and its suburbs,
15होलोन, दबीर,
15and Holon and its suburbs, and Debir and its suburbs,
16ऐन, युत्ता अनि बेतशेमेश पनि दिए। तिनीहरूलाई पशुहरूको निम्ति पनि ती शहरहरू नजिकका केही भूमि तिनीहरूले दिए। तिनीहरूले ती दुइ समूहहरूलाई नै शहरहरू दिए।
16and Ain and its suburbs, and Juttah and its suburbs, [and] Beth-shemesh and its suburbs: nine cities out of those two tribes;
17तिनीहरूले हारूनका सन्तानलाई शहरहरू दिए जो बिन्यामीनका कुल समूहका थिए। यी शहरहरू गिबोन, गेबा,
17and out of the tribe of Benjamin: Gibeon and its suburbs, Geba and its suburbs,
18अनातोत अनि अल्मोन थिए। तिनीहरूले यी चार शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति यी शहरहरू नजिकैका केही भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिएका थिए।
18Anathoth and its suburbs, and Almon and its suburbs; four cities.
19त्यहाँ जम्मा तिनीहरूले पूजाहारीहरूलाई तेह्र शहरहरू प्रदान गरे। (सबै पूजाहारीहरू हारूनका सन्तानहरू थिए।) तिनीहरूले तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति पनि प्रत्येक शहर नजिकैका केही भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिए।
19All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities and their suburbs.
20कहात वंशका अन्य मानिसहरूलाई ती शहरहरू प्रदान गरिए जो एप्रैम कुल समूहका क्षेत्रमा थिए। तिनीहरूले यी शहरहरू पाए।
20And to the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites that remained of the children of Kohath, [they gave cities]. And the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim,
21एप्रैमको पहाडी देशका शकेम शहर। (शकेम एक शरण स्थान शहर थियो।) तिनीहरूले गेजेर,
21and they gave them the city of refuge for the slayer, Shechem and its suburbs in mount Ephraim; and Gezer and its suburbs,
22किब्सैम अनि बेथहोरोन पनि प्राप्त गरे। एप्रैमले तिनीहरूलाई चार शहरहरू अनि प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति दिए।
22and Kibzaim and its suburbs, and Beth-horon and its suburbs: four cities;
23दानको कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई एल्तके, गिब्बतौन,
23and out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its suburbs, Gibbethon and its suburbs,
24अय्यालोन अनि गात-रिम्मोन दिए। दानले तिनीहरूलाई चार शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
24Ajalon and its suburbs, Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs: four cities;
25मनश्शेको आधा कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई तानाक र गत्रिम्मोन दिए। यो मनश्शेको आधा कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई दुइ शहर अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
25and out of half the tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its suburbs and Gath-Rimmon and its suburbs: two cities.
26कहात कुलका बाँकी मानिसहरूले जम्मा दश शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि पाए।
26All the cities were ten and their suburbs, for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
27गेर्शोन कुल पनि लेवी कुल समूहमा थिए। तिनीहरूले यी शहरहरू पाएः मनश्शेका आधा कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई बाशानको गोलन दिए। (गोलन शरणस्थान-शहर थियो।) मनश्शेले तिनीहरूलाई बेश्तरा पनि दिए। यो मनश्शेको आधा कुल समूहले जम्मा दुइ शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
27And to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of half the tribe of Manasseh, [they gave] the city of refuge for the slayer, Golan in Bashan and its suburbs; and Beeshterah and its suburbs: two cities;
28इस्साकार कुलसमूहले तिनीहरूलाई किश्योन, दाबरत,
28and out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion and its suburbs, Dabrath and its suburbs,
29यर्मत अनि एन्गन्नीम दिए। इस्साकारले जम्मा चार शहरहरू र तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिए।
29Jarmuth and its suburbs, En-gannim and its suburbs: four cities;
30आशेरका कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई मिशाल, अब्दोन,
30and out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal and its suburbs, Abdon and its suburbs,
31हेल्कात, अनि रहोब दिए। जम्मा आशेरले तिनीहरूलाई चार शहरहरू र तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
31Helkath and its suburbs, and Rehob and its suburbs: four cities;
32नप्ताली कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई गालीलको केदेश दिए। (केदेश शरणस्थान-शहर थियो।) नप्तालीले तिनीहरूलाई हम्मोत्दर अनि कर्तान पनि दिए। नप्तालीले जम्मा तीन शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
32and out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge for the slayer, Kedesh in Galilee, and its suburbs; and Hammoth-Dor and its suburbs, and Kartan and its suburbs: three cities.
33गेर्शोन कुलले जम्मा तेह्र शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि पाए।
33All the cities of the Gershonites according to their families were thirteen cities and their suburbs.
34अन्य लेवीसमूह मरारी कुलका थिए। मरारी कुलले यी शहरहरू पाएः जबूलूनका कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई योक्नाम, कर्ता,
34And to the families of the children of Merari, that remained of the Levites, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and its suburbs, Kartah and its suburbs,
35दिम्ना, अनि नहलाल दिए। जबूलूनले जम्मा चार शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि दिए।
35Dimnah and its suburbs, Nahalal and its suburbs: four cities;
36रूबेन कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई बेसेर, यहसा,
36and out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its suburbs, and Jahzah and its suburbs,
37कदेमोत, अनि मेपात दिए। रूबेनले जम्मा चार शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिए।
37Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath and its suburbs: four cities;
38गाद कुल समूहले तिनीहरूलाई गिलादको रामोत दिए। (रामोत शरणस्थन-शहर थियो।) तिनीहरूले महनैम,
38and out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge for the slayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs; and Mahanaim and its suburbs,
39हेस्बोन अनि याजेर पनि तिनीहरूलाई दिए। तिनीहरूलाई गादले जम्मा चार शहरहरू अनि तिनीहरूका पशुहरूका निम्ति प्रत्येक शहर वरिपरिका भूमि तिनीहरूलाई दिए।
39Heshbon and its suburbs, Jaazer and its suburbs: four cities in all.
40यसरी, अन्तिम लेवी कुलले जम्मा बाह्र शहरहरू प्राप्त गरे।
40[These were] all the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, which remained of the families of the Levites, and their lot was twelve cities.
41यसरी लेवीहरूले जम्मा अठचालीस शहरहरू अनि आफ्ना पशुहरूका निम्ति हरेक शहर वरिपरिका केही भूमि प्राप्त गरे। यी सबै शहरहरू ती इलाकामा थिए जो अन्य कुल समूहहरूका थिए।
41All the cities of the Levites within the possession of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities and their suburbs.
42यी प्रत्येक शहरमा आफ्ना पशुहरूका निम्ति केही भूमि थियो। प्रत्येक शहरका निम्ति त्यो प्रकृत थियो।
42Each one of these cities had its suburbs round about it: thus were all these cities.
43यसरी परमप्रभुले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नु भयो जो उहाँले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई दिनु भन्नुभएको थियो। उहाँले मानिसहरूलाई सबै भूमि दिनुभयो जो उहाँले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नु भएको थियो। मानिसहरूले भूमि लिए अनि त्यहाँ बसे।
43And Jehovah gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give unto their fathers; and they took possession of it, and dwelt in it.
44अनि परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई, उहाँले तिनीहरूका अगुवाहरूसित प्रतिज्ञा गर्नु भए जस्तै, आफ्नो भूमिका चारैतिर शान्ति प्रदान गर्नदिनु भयो। तिनीहरूका कुनै पनि शत्रुहरूले तिनीहरूलाई परास्त गरेनन्। परमप्रभुले इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई हरेक शत्रुलाई परास्त गर्न दिनुभयो।
44And Jehovah gave them rest round about, according to all that he had sworn unto their fathers; and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them: Jehovah gave all their enemies into their hand.
45परमप्रभुले हरेक प्रतिज्ञा पूर्ण गर्नुभयो जो उहाँले इस्राएलका मानिसहरू प्रति गर्नु भएको थियो। त्यहाँ कुनै पनि प्रतिज्ञाहरू बाँकी रहेनन् जसलाई पूर्ण गर्न चुक्नु भयो। प्रत्येक प्रतिज्ञा सत्य हुन आयो।
45There failed nothing of all the good things that Jehovah had spoken to the house of Israel: all came to pass.
