1हे परमप्रभु, मेरो प्रार्थना सुनिदिनु होस्। साथ पाउनलाई रोएको क्रन्दन सुनिदिनु होस्।
1{A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before Jehovah.} Jehovah, hear my prayer, and let my cry come unto thee.
2परमप्रभु तपाईं त्यसरी विमुख नभईदिनुहोस्। जब म संकटहरूमा झेलिएको हुन्छु मप्रति ध्यान दिनुहोस्। जब म तपाईंको सहायताको निम्ति रोई कराई गर्छु मलाई झट्टै जवाफ दिनुहोस्।
2Hide not thy face from me: in the day of my trouble, incline thine ear unto me; in the day I call, answer me speedily.
3मेरो जीवन धुवाँ जस्तो भई बित्दैछ। मेरा जीवन आगो सरह छ जो बिस्तारै जल्छ।
3For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as a firebrand.
4मेरो शक्ति क्षीण हुँदै गईसक्यो म सुक्खा, ओलिन्दै गई रहेको घाँस जस्तै छु। मैले खान समेत भूली सकेको छु।
4My heart is smitten and withered like grass; yea, I have forgotten to eat my bread.
5आफ्नो उदासीनताको कारणले गर्दा, मेरो ओजन घटिरहेछ।
5By reason of the voice of my groaning, my bones cleave to my flesh.
6म मरूभूमिमा बसिरहेको लाटकोसेरो जस्तो एक्लो छु। भवनहरूको भग्नावशेषमा बस्ने एक्लो लाटकोसेरो जस्तै छु।
6I am become like the pelican of the wilderness, I am as an owl in desolate places;
7म सुत्न सक्दिन। म छानामा भएको एउटा एक्लो चरो जस्तो छु।
7I watch, and am like a sparrow alone upon the housetop.
8मेरा शत्रुहरूले मलाई लगातार अपमान गर्छन्। तिनीहरूले मलाई खिसी गरे अनि सरापे।
8Mine enemies reproach me all the day; they that are mad against me swear by me.
9मेरो ठूलो उदासीनता खाली मेरो भोजन हो। मेरो आँसु मेरो पिउने बस्तु हो।
9For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping,
10किन? किनभने तपाईं ममाथि क्रोधित हुनुहुन्छ, परमप्रभु, तपाईंले मलाई उठाउनु भयो अनि त्यसपछि मलाई फ्याँकी दिनुभयो।
10Because of thine indignation and thy wrath; for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11दिनको अन्तिम प्रहरमा लामो छायाँहरू जस्तो मेरो जीवन प्रायः सुकिसक्यो। म सुक्खा र ओइलिएको घाँस सरह मर्दै जाँदैछु।
11My days are like a lengthened-out shadow, and I, I am withered like grass.
12तर परमप्रभु, तपाईं सदा-सर्वदा बाँच्नु हुनेछ। तपाईंको नाउँ सदा सर्वदा र अनन्त सम्म रहनेछ।
12But thou, Jehovah, abidest for ever, and thy memorial from generation to generation.
13तपाईं उठ्नु हुनेछ र सियोनलाई सान्त्वना दिनु हुनेछ। तपाईं सियोन प्रति कृपालु हुनुहुनेछ त्यो समय आइरहेछ।
13*Thou* wilt rise up, thou wilt have mercy upon Zion: for it is the time to be gracious to her, for the set time is come.
14तपाईंका दासहरूले उनको, ढुङ्गाहरू मन पराउनेछ, तिनीहरूले त्यो शहरको धूलोलाई सम्म मन पराउने छन्।
14For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour her dust.
15मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको नाउँको उपासना गर्नेछन्। परमेश्वर, पृथ्वीमा भएका राजाहरूले तपाईंलाई सम्मान गर्नेछन्।
15And the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
16परमप्रभुले फेरि सियोन बनाउँनु हुनेछ। मानिसहरूले फेरि उहाँको महिमा देख्नेछन्।
16When Jehovah shall build up Zion, he will appear in his glory.
17परमेश्वरले जिउँदै छाडनु भएका मानिसहरूको प्रार्थनाहरूको जवाफ दिनुहुनेछ। परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूको प्रार्थना सुन्नुहुनेछ।
17He will regard the prayer of the destitute one, and not despise their prayer.
18यी कुराहरू आउने भविष्यका सन्तानहरूको निम्ति लेख अनि भविष्यमा, ती मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्नेछन्।
18This shall be written for the generation to come; and a people that shall be created shall praise Jah:
19परमप्रभुले आफ्ना पवित्र स्थानबाट तलतिर हेर्नुहुनेछ। परमप्रभुले स्वर्गबाट तल पृथ्वीमा हेर्नुहुनेछ।
19For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from the heavens hath Jehovah beheld the earth,
20अनि उहाँले कैदीहरूका प्रार्थनाहरू सुन्नुहुनेछ। उहाँले मृत्यु घोषित भइसकेका मानिसहरूलाई मुक्ति दिलाई दिनुहुनेछ।
20To hear the groaning of the prisoner, to loose those that are appointed to die;
21तब सियोनका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको बारेमा भन्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले उहाँको नाउँलाई यरूशलेममा प्रशंसा गर्नेछन्।
21That the name of Jehovah may be declared in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem,
22जातिहरू परस्परमा भेला हुनेछन्। राज्यहरू परमप्रभुको सेवा गर्नलाई आउने छन्।
22When the peoples shall be gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
23मेरो बलले मलाई नै असफल तुल्यायो। मेरो जीवन छोटो भएर घट्यो।
23He weakened my strength in the way, he shortened my days.
24यसकारण मैले भने, “मलाई ठिटौली बेलामा नै मर्न नदिनुहोस्। परमेश्वर तपाईं सदा-सर्वदा बाँच्नु हुनेछ।
24I said, My ùGod, take me not away in the midst of my days! ... Thy years are from generation to generation.
25धेरै वर्ष पहिले, तपाईंले यो संसार बनाउनु भयो। तपाईंले आफ्नै हातद्वारा यो आकाश बनाउनु भयो।
25Of old hast thou founded the earth, and the heavens are the work of thy hands:
26संसार र यो आकाश समाप्त होला तर तपाईं सर्वदा रहनु हुनेछ। तिनीहरूले लुगाहरू खोले जस्तै गर्नेछन्, अनि लुगाहरू जस्तै, तपाईं तिनीहरूलाई परिवर्तन गर्नुहुनेछ। तिनीहरू सबै परिर्वतिन हुनेछन्।
26*They* shall perish, but *thou* continuest; and all of them shall grow old as a garment: as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed.
27तर तपाईं परमेश्वर, कहिल्यै बद्लिनु हुन्न। तपाईं सर्वदा जीवित रहनु हुन्छ।
27But thou art the Same, and thy years shall have no end.
28हामी आज तपाईंका दासहरू हौं। हाम्रा नानीहरू यहाँ छन्। अनि तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरू पनि यहाँ तपाईंको उपासना गर्नेहरू हुनेछन्।”
28The children of thy servants shall abide, and their seed shall be established before thee.
