¹हे परमप्रभु, हामीले सम्मान पाउनु पर्ने होइन। तपाईंको प्रेम र विश्वासले गर्दा सम्मान तपाईंको मात्र हो।

¹Not unto us, O Jehovah, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy loving-kindness and for thy truth's sake.

²किन ती जातिहरू हाम्रा परमप्रभु कहाँ छन्? भनेर छक्क पर्दछन्?

²Wherefore should the nations say, Where then is their God?

³परमप्रभु स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ, अनि उहाँले आफ्नो चाहनाले जे पनि गर्न सक्नुहुन्छ।

³But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he pleased.

⁴ती सम्प्रदायहरूका “देवताहरू” सुन र चाँदीले बनिएका खाली मूर्तिहरू मात्र हुन्। तिनीहरू कुनै मानिसले बनाएका मूर्तिहरू मात्र हुन्।

⁴Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands:

⁵ती मूर्तिहरूका मुखहरू छन्, तर बोल्न सक्दैनन्। तिनीहरूका आँखाहरू छन्, तर देख्न सक्दैनन्।

⁵They have a mouth, and they speak not; eyes have they, and they see not;

⁶तिनीहरूका कानहरू छन्, तर सुन्न सक्दैनन्। तिनीहरूका नाकहरू छन्, तर सुँघ्न सक्तैनन्

⁶They have ears, and they hear not; a nose have they, and they smell not;

⁷तिनीहरूका हातहरू छन्, तर अनुभव गर्न सक्दैनन् तिनीहरूका खुट्टाहरू छन्, तर हिंड्न सक्दैनन् अनि कुनै स्वर-ध्वनिहरू उनीहरूका कण्ठबाट निकाल्न सक्तैनन्।

⁷They have hands, and they handle not; feet have they, and they walk not; they give no sound through their throat.

⁸मानिसहरू जसले तिनीहरूलाई बनाउँछन् र तिनीहरूमाथि भरोसा गर्छन् तिनीहरू त्यस्तै हुन्छन्!

⁸They that make them are like unto them, -- every one that confideth in them.

⁹हे इस्राएल का मानिसहरू, परमप्रभुमाथि भरोसा गर! परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका बल र ढाल हुन्।

⁹O Israel, confide thou in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹⁰हारूनका परिवारहरू, परमप्रभुमाथि भरोसा राख! परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका बल र ढाल हुनुहुन्छ।

¹⁰House of Aaron, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹¹हे परमप्रभुका अनुयायीहरू, परमप्रभुमाथि भरोसा गर! परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका बल र ढाल हुन्।

¹¹Ye that fear Jehovah, confide in Jehovah: he is their help and their shield.

¹²परमप्रभुले हामीलाई सम्झनुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुले हामीलाई आशीर्वाद दिनुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुले इस्राएल लाई आशीर्वाद दिनुहुनेछ। परमप्रभुले हारूनका परिवारलाई आशीर्वाद दिनुहुनेछ।

¹²Jehovah hath been mindful of us: he will bless, he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

¹³महान् र क्षुद्र दुवैलाई परमप्रभुले आफ्ना भक्तहरूलाई आशीर्वाद दिनुहुनेछ।

¹³He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.

¹⁴परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूका छोरा-छोरीहरूलाई धेरै भन्दा धेरै नै दिऊन्।

¹⁴Jehovah will add unto you more, unto you and unto your children.

¹⁵परमप्रभु जसले स्वर्ग र पृथ्वी बनाउनु भयो, तिमीहरूलाई आशीर्वाद दिऊन्!

¹⁵Ye are blessed of Jehovah, who made the heavens and the earth.

¹⁶स्वर्गमा परमप्रभुको अधिकारमा छ। तर पृथ्वी उहाँले मानिसहरूका अधिकारमा दिनु भयो।

¹⁶The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

¹⁷मरेका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्दैनन्। चिहान भित्र भएका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्दैनन्।

¹⁷The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;

¹⁸तर हामी अहिले परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्छौं, अनि उहाँको हामी सदा-सर्वदा प्रशंसा गर्छौं। परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर!

¹⁸But *we* will bless Jah from this time forth and for evermore. Hallelujah!
