1हे परमेश्वर, मैले गरेको प्रार्थना सुन्नुहोस्। मेरो प्रार्थना सुनी दिनुहोस्।
1{To the chief Musician. On a stringed instrument. [A Psalm] of David.} Hear, O God, my cry; attend unto my prayer.
2म जहाँ भए तापनि, जस्तो कमजोर भए तापनि, तपाईंको सहयोग माग्नलाई पुकारा गर्ने छु! मलाई धेरै माथि सुरक्षित ठाउँमा लैजानुहोस्।
2From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.
3तपाईं मेरो शरणस्थान हुनुहुन्छ। तपाईंले मेरो शत्रुहरूबाट मलाई बचाउँने बलियो धरहरा हुनुहुन्छ।
3For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.
4म तपाईंको पालमा सदा सर्वदा रहन चाहन्छु। म तपाईंको शरणमा लुक्न चाहन्छु।
4I will sojourn in thy tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah.
5हे परमेश्वर, मैले के दिन्छु भनेर वाचा गरेको थिएँ त्यो तपाईंले सुन्नु भएकोछ, तर प्रत्येक कुरा तपाईंका भक्तजनहरूले पाउने तपाईंबाट नै आउँदछन्।
5For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given [me] the inheritance of those that fear thy name.
6राजालाई दीर्घायु दिनुहोस्। ऊ अनन्त सम्म बाँचोस्!
6Thou wilt add days to the days of the king: his years shall be as many generations.
7उनी परमेश्वर सँगै सदा-सर्वदा रहुन्। तपाईंको स्नेहपूर्ण करूणाले उहाँलाई बचाउँनु होस्।
7He shall abide before God for ever: bestow loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
8अनि म तपाईंको नाउँको गुणगान सधैंभरी गर्नेछु। प्रत्येक दिन, मैले वाचा गरेका कुराहरू मात्र गर्ने छु।
8So will I sing forth thy name for ever, performing my vows from day to day.
