¹हे परमेश्वर, हामी तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्दछौ! हामी तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्छौ। तपाईं छेउमा हुनुहुन्छ अनि मानिसहरूले तपाईंले गर्नु भएको अचम्मका कुराहरूका बारेमा भन्दछन्।

²परमेश्वर भन्नुहुन्छ, “म न्यायको ठीक समय छान्नेछु म निष्पक्ष न्याय गर्नेछु।

²When I shall receive the assembly, I will judge with equity.

³यद्यपि पृथ्वी र यसमा भएका सम्पूर्ण चीजहरू हल्लिरहेका छन् र धराशायी हुन तयार छ, तर म यसलाई स्थिरपार्छु।”

⁴I said unto the boastful, Boast not; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁵Lift not up your horn on high; speak not arrogantly with a [stiff] neck.

⁶पृथ्वीमा त्यस्तो कुनै शक्ति छैन जसले कुनै मानिसलाई महत्वपूर्ण पार्छ।

⁶For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation [come]:

⁷परमेश्वर नै न्यायकर्ता हुनुहुन्छ। अनि उहाँले नै को महत्वपूर्ण हुनेछ भन्ने कुराको निर्णय गर्नुहुन्छ। परमेश्वरले एक व्यक्तिलाई उठाएर उसलाई महत्वपूर्ण बनाउनु हुन्छ, उहाँले नै कसैलाई तल झारेर उसलाई महत्वहीन पार्नुहुन्छ।

⁷For God is the judge; he putteth down one and exalteth another.

⁸परमेश्वर सधैं दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई दण्ड दिन तयार हुनुहुन्छ। परमप्रभुसँग उहाँको हातमा एउटा कचौरा छ जुन कचौरामा विष भरिएको दाखमद्यले पूर्ण छ। उहाँले त्यो विषयुक्त दाखमद्य खनाउनु हुन्छ, अनि दुष्ट मानिसहरूले त्यसको अन्तिम घुट्को सम्म पिउने छन्।

⁸For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and it foameth with wine, it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof shall all the wicked of the earth drain off, [and] drink.

⁹म यस बारेमा सधैं मानिसहरूलाई भन्नेछु। म इस्राएल को परमेश्वरको स्तुति-गान गर्नेछु।

⁹But as for me, I will declare for ever; I will sing psalms to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰म दुष्ट मानिसहरूको शक्ति खोसेर लानेछु, अनि धर्मी मानिसहरूलाई शक्ति प्रदानगर्नेछु।

¹⁰And all the horns of the wicked will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
