1ਹੁਣ, ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੀ ਉਗਰਾਈ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਗਲਾਤਿਯਾ ਦੀ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰੋ।
1Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਹਰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਤਨਖਾਹਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੈਸਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਰਕਮ ਬਨਾਉਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਧਨ ਇੱਕ ਖਾਸ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ। ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਪੈਸਾ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
2Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮਯਂਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਚਢ਼ਾਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਭੇਜਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਚੁਣੋਂਗੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਪਛਾਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਿਠੀਆਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।
3And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ, ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
4And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
5ਮੇਰੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
5Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
6ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਮੈਂ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਠਹਿਰਾਂਗਾ। ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਠਹਿਰਾਂ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਿਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਵਾਂ, ਜਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ।
6And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
7ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਥੋਡ਼ੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਜੇਕਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਗਿਆ ਦੇਵੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਲਮੇਰੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਠਹਿਰਨ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
7For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
8ਪਰੰਤੂ ਪੰਤੇਕੁਸਤ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਇਫ਼ੇਸ੍ਸਸ ਠਹਿਰਾਂਗਾ।
8But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
9ਮੈਂ ਇਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਸਰ ਕਾਰਣ ਠਹਿਰਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲਦਾਇਕ ਕਾਰਜ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹਨ।
9For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
10ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਤਿਮੋਥਿਉਸ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇ। ਉਸਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਾਇਕ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨੀ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਲਈ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
10Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
11ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉਸਦੀ ਅਵਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਹੀਦੀ। ਸ਼ਾਂਤਮਈ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਸਕੇ। ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਸਹਿਤ ਉਸਦੀ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
11Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
12ਹੁਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਪੁਲੋਸ ਬਾਰੇ, ਮੈਂ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਉਸਦੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਹੁਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਆਵੇਗਾ।
12As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
13ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹੋ। ਨਿਹਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿਡ਼ ਰਹੋ। ਹੌਂਸਲਾ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਨਣਾ।
13Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
14ਹਰ ਗੱਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨਾ।
14Let all your things be done with charity.

15I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)

16That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
17ਮੈਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਤਫ਼ਨਾਸ, ਫ਼ਰਤੂਨਾਤੁਸ, ਅਤੇ ਅਖਾਇਕੁਸ ਇਥੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਇਥੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਘਾਟ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
17I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
18ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਆਤਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
18For they have refreshed my spirit and your's: therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.
19ਅਸਿਯਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਬਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੇਜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਕੂਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਸਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਬਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੇਜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹਡ਼ੀ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜੁਡ਼ ਬੈਠਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਭੇਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
19The churches of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
20ਇਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਕਸਾਥ ਇਕਠੇ ਹੋਵੋ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੁੰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾ ਦਿਉ।
20All the brethren greet you. Greet ye one another with an holy kiss.
21ਮੈਂ, ਪੌਲੁਸ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਪੱਤਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੁਦ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਲਿਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

22ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋ ਜੁਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿਉ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਗੁਆਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ! ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਆ ਜਾਓ।
22If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
23ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
24ਮੇਰਾ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆਰ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੋ। ਆਮੀਨ
